Has the FSHP considered using the Distributed Proofreading application originally developed for Project Gutenberg? It’s a good way to get “casuals” to do a little bit of OCR correction, but more importantly, it creates a good workflow for more serious participants.

I’ve not tried setting it up myself, but it’s on the list, just to satisfy my own curiosity.
Thank you for the idea, la_cotorra_encantada! As far as I'm aware, none of the team has really looked into this as an option. For now we are doing well working on this in-house. If (or when!) we get overwhelmed, we might start exploring the possibilities.
