Summary
Jason Todd misses a place he can’t return to. Wayne Manor feels like a memory he’s not welcome in—too many ghosts, too much weight. Tim Drake notices. And instead of asking questions, he offers Jason a room at Drake Manor.
Jason accepts. Reluctantly.
What begins as a temporary arrangement becomes something else entirely: morning coffee shared in silence, plant names argued over with growing affection, and the soft, aching realisation that the house Tim never felt at home in is becoming one—because of Jason.
As the days blur into rituals and renovations, neither of them says it out loud: this is no longer temporary. This is theirs.

Summary
The only thing that stops Nightwing from launching himself into the warehouse with a cry of grief and rage is the realization that those kids look awfully familiar.
All three of the boys have black hair. The biggest one, maybe twelve years old, is wearing most of Batman’s uniform, which is sagging and bunching around his small body. The middle sized boy, who doesn’t look any more than five but is probably older if Nightwing’s growing suspicions are correct, is holding his hand and glaring around them defensively. He’s wearing Red Hood’s leather jacket. The largest boy is holding a toddler protectively against his chest.

His mind is already flashing with a thousand possibilities; snapshots of every work-related accident he’s encountered in his seven years on the job, the all-too-familiar of image of Eddie’s body unnaturally lifeless in the hospital bed, breathless in a way that never fails to make Buck want to claw out his own lungs and transplant them into Eddie’s chest. Already scrambling for his keys, heart alight in terror, he frantically chokes out, “What happened? Is he okay?”
There’s a pause on the other end of the line. “Actually,” a rustle of files, “We were calling about a girl by the name of June Foster."
Buck’s mind blanks.
“We believe her to be your daughter.”
