Summary
“Greetings and salutations to you, Harrington!”
And there he was. Just as in your face and over the top as ever.
Only he looked… different. He looked like fucking Bon Jovi. Jeans so ripped they may as well just be shorts and a crop top and hair pulled back into a bun with loose bits falling around his face. In some weird way, the jeans almost seemed more revealing than shorts. They weren’t, of course, Steve couldn’t see the backs of Eddie’s legs or his left knee or either calf, but there was so much open ripping around his thighs that almost seemed more… teasing.
“Holy shit, I can see your whole face.” Steve mumbled out, lips parted in genuine surprise, instantly reaching out to try to touch the bun at the crown of his head.
Eddie batted him away.
OR
Steve agrees to help Eddie paint his trailer, but isn't prepared for the bisexual crisis it sends him spiralling into.

Summary
It had been two and a half months since the end of Spring Break.
Eddie had been cleared of all charges, The Byers were back in Hawkins like they’d never left, Vecna was dead and gone, and everything was back to normal; or rather as back to normal as Hawkins could get.
Unfortunately for one Steve Harrington, his new normal seemed to be not only his inability to get a date, but also his newfound proclivity towards staring at Eddie Munson’s mouth while he dramatically narrated during a five hour Hellfire session, or counting the freckles on the bridge of his nose, or memorizing the patterns in his honey coloured eyes.
What the fuck was wrong with him?
(Now with Eddie’s pov added!)

Summary
“Look, I’m just asking, okay? Not– I don't mean anything by it. But, uh.” His eyes darted back and forth, then he leaned in close to Steve. Steve had gotten used to that, kind of. The guy had no concept of personal space. “Are you flagging?” Eddie finally finished.
Steve shook his head slowly, eyes narrowed. He had no idea what that meant. He had no answer. “What?”
Eddie leaned away from Steve, facing forward again and nodding. “Okay, got it. That answers my question. Carry on.”

A (mostly) innocent question leads Steve Harrington on a journey of self-discovery, friendship, sex, and romance.

“Dustin? Are you home?” Oh god, why wasn’t he home yet?
Just as the panic set in, a car pulled in and a short kid jumped out. Steve’s body sagged in relief before he strode to the door and pulled it open. “DUSTIN HARRINGTON!”
“Oh shit!”

Summary
“Hey,” Steve’s smile is soft, tentative. “Heard you were having a party over here.”
“What are you…” Eddie swallows hard, mouth dry. He wishes every teacher that ever told him he talked too much could see him now.
“I was hoping that invitation still stood,” his eyes are drilling into Eddie’s and he can’t explain why he needs this so much, but he does. Every beat of his heart is begging Eddie to open the door, to let him in.
There’s a beat, a catch of their eyes and Eddie shifts, pushes the door open wide, whispers, “of course,” whispers, “always.” His heart is in his throat, he can’t pull his eyes away as Steve steps in, crowding him so close they share a breath. He can feel Steve’s gravity pulling him in and he’s never wanted to collapse so badly.
OR: Eddie gets to have a good life.

Summary
After failing his fifth year twice, Eddie is ready to buckle down and have just one, relatively normal year at Hawkins’ School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
But then famous professional Quidditch player, Durmstrang golden-boy Steve Harrington just has to enter the Triwizard Tournament.
(And Eddie can’t be one-upped by him and his flouncy hair—no way. Not when Dustin’s respect is on the line.)
But maybe he’ll finally prove to Gryffindor House that he belongs there after all.

Summary
June 1986
Steve is lonely. He’s always been lonely, honestly. An empty house, absent parents, friends that didn’t really know him. Frankly, he probably doesn’t really know himself, either. It used to be easier to ignore—between sports and parties and searching for the next girl to hang around with.
Then Nancy Wheeler told him he was bullshit. In the wreckage of the storm, he realized she probably hadn’t been that off base to call his life bullshit.
[Life in Hawkins, Indiana is boring, ordinary, no supernatural entities. Steve still changes.
Luckily, he still makes some new friends, too. Certain people are simply meant to be in the same story.]

Summary
Eddie is never going to be one to admit that he’s jealous. Really, he doesn’t get jealous often. Or at all, frankly. So he finds himself wondering why he’s sipping a beer at a party and completely, utterly unable to stop staring at Steve Harrington very obviously flirting with Nancy Wheeler. He’s not an idiot, he knows they dated, but she was with Jonathan for a while and as far as Eddie is aware, that ended fairly recently. Too recently for Nancy to be throwing herself at Steve and too recently for Steve to be reeling her in as if it’s nothing. Her hand is resting on his arm and her head is thrown back in a laugh he knows is exaggerated because Steve has never said anything that funny in his entire life.
Eddie isn't jealous of Nancy Wheeler having Steve's attention. Really, he isn't.
