You know how it goes. Medical professionals are going to critique the medicine, legal professionals will have thoughts on the lawyer accuracy, and I'm going to be squinting at the staffing model, wondering why the small branch library has six full-time librarians and no paraprofessionals or pages, who failed you that you are using the Dewey Decimal System for an academic library, and melting down internally over the privacy violations of sharing patron records. Summary
It's difficult out there for a national library, all by herself. The Royal Library is in the process of navigating these troubled times, while also trying to bring a young protege into the fold, so it can be difficult to manage on one's own. But when an arranged marriage to the upstart, sprightly, young, forward-thinking State and University Library is proposed, everything changes. Royal, State, and everyone around them join the dance of diplomacy, manners, and good, old-fashioned romance that comes along with keeping up with the nation, patrons, and everything else.
