Shouto smiles wearily, all of the sudden feeling exhaustion crash over him like a wave that’s been held back. He slumps over, resting his head on Katsuki’s shoulder as Katsuki hurries to catch up with the rest of the group. “Thank you, Kats. I love you.”
“God, you sap. Love you too, Shou. Close your eyes.”
Or: sometimes love is carrying someone on your back when they're tired. Sometimes that's enough.
