Tim was glad his parents were home. Of course he was. He couldn’t keep the smile from his face, he had anxiously shifted from foot to foot by the door while waiting for them.
He remained calm when they stormed in, his dad ranting about foolish airport staff and his mother pushing her luggage off on him. He had just made himself small and moved their bags, letting his dad vent.
