Lmao Beiye is truly something that everyone and the world either checks out or bend to her out-of-the-box thinking and doing things. This fic and the whole series is such a very very fun and exciting read. I've had the best time watching this train wreck happen. Honestly, Shang Bo is the best at expressing the collective inner commentary of the fans to what is happening around him, esp in regards to the craziness surrounding our protagonist (who is somehow very in denial or just straight up oblivious— that she's carrying the protagonist's halo).

Pokemon AU, SI!OC, Family Feels, Pokemon Team as Family, Fast tracking the road to Indigo League Championship, Crack, Politics at the back (u don't need to squint), MC is an Unreliable Narrator, Slice of Life,I just want to say that I love Pokemon SI's a lot. Authors always have something new and exciting to add to the lore and a spin to the franchise in various ways. This Vicky is one of the most unhinge but amazingly loveable ones out there; and honestly we need more Vicky's in this house. I cannot emphasize how fun this new outlook in this au is and how the author develops it further. I'm looking forward to it.

BNHA AU, Bakugo x OC, Slice of Life, Angst and Humor, Romance (in the distance), Slow Burn, Coming of Age, Trigger Warnings: Grooming, Angst, Torture-adjucent, Canon Typical Violence, Realistic Views regarding the Circumstances, etc.I'm so happy to have found and read this. One of the hidden gems around the BNHA fandom that deals with courage, betrayal, moving on, and starting over again. I love each characterizations, especially to the main characters, and the others are also nothing to sniff at. It has a bittersweet and melancholic but also hopeful feel to it overall and I hope a lot more people enjoy this when they find it.
Definitely something to pick up. -

Then, he stepped back. Like he hadn’t just torn open every inch of her composure, and left her there, breathless, trembling, and aching. His thoughts echoed behind him as he walked away.

Where Fools Roam by HotShotHappiness

BNHA AU, Bakugo x OC, Slow Burn, Slice of Life, Pro Hero!Characters, Crack & Angst, Growing Up, Trigger Warnings: Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety, Self-esteem Issues, Angery babies being Angery, ANGST,This is like, the most convoluted fluff fic I've read in some time. And I like it so much. I love the characterizations and how they're so consistent all throughout the fic even with account the character development gradually happening. I love how the vast majority of the fic came from Katsuki's POV and we get a front row seat of his thought process and feelings. I love how it didn't feel rushed but also wasn't stretched out unnecessarily. I love how the Mains are always, always trying to do better, even when circumstances aren't in their favor. Especially then, even.
Also I sweat Kirishima and Kaminari are the best bros Bakugo could ever have in his corner. And I know there's a sequel, but I also really like how open ended this one finished. So even if anyone doesn't want to go and get wrecked in the heart again, or one isn't ready to bet on their feelings in the sequel; this ending is a good place to rest and let the imagination run wild for these two.
