Does my work have to be shippy in nature?

Not at all! As long as your work is focused on Ra’s and a member of the Batclan, the kind of relationship (platonic, ship, etc) is completely up to you.

Who qualifies as a “Bat” for this week?

Any Gotham hero would qualify! Whether that’s a main member of the family (like Dick or Jason) or someone more extended (like Harper or Jean-Luke), as long as they’re connected to the Batfam, they count.

Do I have to sign up for this event?

Nope! All you have to do to participate is look at the prompts and their corresponding days and create something that fits. This includes fanfics, fanart, fanmixes, image manips...the list goes on and on. As long as you tag your content with #ra'sbatweek or mention us @rasbatweek, we’ll find it and reblog it here.

How are prompts picked?

By all of you! A request will go out for prompt submissions, and then after that a poll will be released for all of you to vote on them. Anyone can vote.

Where can we find the prompts?

Once they’re chosen, a post will be made with all the prompts, and then they’ll be added to the tumblr page and posted here to the collection on AO3.

Do I have to create something for every day and/or prompt?

Definitely not! All you have to do to participate is create something for one of the prompts. Past that, you’re welcome to create as much as you like!

What universes are allowed?

Absolutely everything is fair game. You can work with whatever universe or AU-type you like! Who knows—some of them might even pop up as a prompt.

- First and foremost, be kind to one another! This is an event that everyone is welcome to participate in, and any hate towards one another could result in a ban

- Seeing as this is a “Ra'sBat” event week, all works do have to be centered around Ra’s al Ghul and a member of the Batfam. These works can be platonic in nature or shippy; as long as the focus is on Ra’s and one of the Gotham heroes, then you’re good! Side pairings are fine to include.

- If posting on tumblr, please use a “Read More” for longer fics, and please tag all of your entries with #ra'sbatweek so that we can see your works and reblog them! You’re also welcome to tag us @rasbatweek in your posts to make extra sure we see you :) If we miss you, please send us a message to let us know!

- Please use appropriate warnings and tags! Considering the nature of this event involves a villain with a hero, the content can get dark. Please be mindful—if you’re not sure if you should tag something, do it anyway XD

- If posting on AO3, you can add your works to this collection! This also means that cross-posting is completely fine; if you prefer to use a platform other than tumblr, that’s okay! Just send us a link to your work and we can reblog it same as everyone else’s :)

- We’re happy to accept late entries! Just send us a message when you’ve posted it and we’ll reblog it; there’s no real deadline.
