Jungkook turned towards the kitchen - and walked straight into the icy glare of Min Yoongi.
“Are you always this late?”
Jungkook tried to bite his tongue. “I was talking to – ”
“I don’t care who you were talking to,” Yoongi snapped. He had both arms crossed firmly over his chest as he continued to berate Jungkook in front of the rest of the staff. “How am I supposed to trust you to get my food out on time if you can’t follow a simple direction that I gave less than five minutes ago?”
Jungkook stared at his feet. “It won’t happen again, chef.”

Summary
Yoongi glances towards Jungkook, an easy smile on his face and a glint in his eyes that tells Yoongi that he isn’t quite serious but isn’t entirely joking either. It makes Yoongi’s heart flutter in a weird way, something about Jungkook’s person and the aura around him seemingly getting to him, making him feel things he hasn’t felt in a long time and he's not quite sure what to make of that.

Summary
Jung Hoseok is a Child Life Specialist at Severance Hospital in Seoul. His job is to bring peace and healing to families during their stay at the hospital; to distract them from the frightening aspects of surgeries, injections and uncomfortable procedures. He's relatively new at the job when he is assigned to a young cardiology patient named Nari. At just 4 years old, the girl has been through six surgeries and is scheduled to undergo her seventh, which is potentially the most life threatening so far. Alongside Nari is her distraught, often grumpy, father, Min Yoongi. Yoongi has been a single parent all of Nari's life and he just wants her to get better. He really can't understand why Jung Hoseok, the silliest person he's ever met, is involved in Nari's care. He is often annoyed by Hoseok's presence and isn't afraid to let him know. But, upon seeing how happy he makes Nari, Yoongi has a change of heart that takes him places he never thought possible...namely, Jung Hoseok's bedroom.
