Summary
Hannibal Lecter knew his mind well. Or at least he thought he did. But recent regret over killing his not-patient has him thinking otherwise.
Set vaguely in Season 1, Hannibal Lecter decides instead of winding him up and watching him go, it's far more prudent to kill Will Graham.
This comes back to bite him in the ass. Or stab him in the chest, as it were.

Through the red light district, shined shoes find familiar thoroughfares, between buildings here, down a sidestreet there, until the genders of those on display blend as the neon against the ill-lit sky, a static grey neither light nor dark. It is strangely appropriate that this portion of Patpong is curved - indeed, few enough in it could be called straight.

For a moment longer, Hannibal is concerned by how this is possible, how Will could fit in the pot, before his tired mind finally clicks that Will has somehow shrunk down to barely the length of Hannibal’s own hand. He is also completely naked; Hannibal is suddenly very much awake.
Hannibal finds a pocket-sized Will Graham hiding in his pot.
