Tim knew that this wasn't just luck. He also knew that the Wayne family were more than the vain, materialistic family they pretend to be in interviews and magazine covers. They were Gotham's nighttime heroes, Tim's idols.

It was nice, acceptance. Jason wasn’t looking for forgiveness because he knew Dick never blamed him to begin with. He wasn’t looking to be absolved, he was searching for acknowledgement. He wanted Dick to know that he recognized the fault in his actions, that he wanted to do better, that he knew Dick deserved better.
And that was that. The matter was settled. But Dick’s mind was somewhere else the whole night. Jason could tell. Earlier he almost put the leftovers in the trash and the to-go box in the fridge. And before that he tried to turn the TV on with a hairbrush.
So, with his worries abated, and his regrets voiced, Jason turned the conversation around. “Where’s your mind been at, Dickie?”
“Off picking wildflowers.”

What’s something you want to do now, that you couldn’t before? Something we can work towards this week?”
