Intro:

Welcome to Femslash February?

What's Femslash February? It's creating (mostly) fanworks about romantic and/or sexual relations between women, in February!

Pretty self-explanatory, really.

FAQ:

does f/f of my original characters count?

while the challenge is mostly about fanworks, no one’s saying no to more f/f! it’d be great to have original work in the tag.

how about rule 63/genderbend works?

once again, there are no real rules. i’m not gonna kick you out of the tag even if i could! you should express creatively however you want. however, the reason for this challenge is to shine some light on the wonderful lady characters and ships that already exist and are often ignored (especially in favor of m/m ships). please join in in whatever way you please! i’m excited to see what people come up with and i’d love things to be as varied as possible! but, no, genderbending an m/m or m/f pairing isn’t quite in the original spirit.

what fandoms can i write for?

literally any! hopefully we’ll have a widely varied tag with something for everyone. choose your favorite f/f pairing (or pairings, or more-than-pairs)and run with it!

i don’t draw or write. can i still participate?

you sure can! any type of fanwork is welcome, and that includes things like meta or reclists. even if you don’t care to create anything, you can still track the tag and provide feedback and appreciation—audience is a crucial part of any artistic endeavor!

any restrictions on rating or topic?

nope! once again, the hope is to have a widely varied group of works. make your work romantic, sexy, humorous, or tragic, and as explicit or clean as you desire. please do tag your nsfw, though!

can men participate?

of course! anyone’s welcome to join in.

Rules:

Please don't post fic to this collection in which the primary pairing is m/m or m/f. Side pairings are fine as long as the primary pairing is f/f. (Use your discretion with gen fic; if you think it belongs here, it probably does, but this is mostly a shipping-related event.)

Otherwise, interpret Femslash February however you like!
