Summary
“Go,” she had told him. “But only if you take me with you.”
Byleth had made two mistakes in her life: the first was thinking she held any sway over the Emperor, the second was leaving the Blue Lions to join Edelgard’s army. While her reasons may have been valiant, can she be forgiven? Can she forgive herself?
Born from the guilt I felt while playing Crimson Flower and a strong desire to see a two-eyed, slightly-more-stable, Dimitri. In a perfect world, I could just leave and go to my little lion cubs to protect them.

Summary
Byleth, the Ashen Demon. She wasn’t one to hide her emotions beneath a mask, not like he was. Rather there seemed little behind her unreadable gaze at all. She was cold and hard like… a weapon. While Dimitri found it difficult to admire someone like that, he could see the value of receiving her guidance. With her direction, then what he hoped to achieve would become a reality. And that cold hardness… well, perhaps he could stand to learn a little of that from her, too.

Dimitri is drawn to Byleth from the moment they meet. Except... he’s not her student, he’s not anyone of importance to her at all. How can he hope to hold onto something that was never his to begin with?

Summary
The revelation of the Holy Tomb came with totally different results. Dimitri, who could not believe that the young Edelgard could have caused such a disastrous result, managed to stay calm. He knew that someone else; the cronies of Solon and Kronya, were the true blame. His mind somehow worked that a thirteen-year old girl could not forge up such a delicate plan.
However, it did not happen the same to Byleth. To her, Edelgard was the closest to her father’s murderer. She was also the one who talked with the aide of Kronya. She was also the one who was able to somehow rein in the Death Knight.
And on that day, the mind of someone else snapped.
