Reo isn't sure who had the bright idea of starting this game.
It's not like he's never heard of it before, of course! He knows it's a silly little game typical teenagers tend to like to play, usually gathered in a circle together and giggling like schoolgirls. It's a game meant to be all in good fun, an exercise for the brain in weighing choices, and of course: for the drama.
He just didn't expect a bunch of teen boys to play it.
Or, Blue Lock gets a night off to party and decides to play the classic game of "Fuck, Marry, Kill". Reo learns more about his teammates' tastes than he'd like to know, including the preference of a certain seal. He reacts... about as expected.

Summary
As Reo walks towards the doors of the classroom, he feels lighter. That went about as well as it could, despite the fact that someone else knew about his crush. He internally cringes at that word, feeling like a pre-schooler again.
His slightly pleasant demeanour disappears instantly the moment he opens the door, spotting the last person he wanted to see there.
Nagi is there, leaning against the wall with his arms folded against his chest and eyes cast down towards the floor.

Summary
Becoming a streamer had certainly been… one of the choices of all time that Seishiro had made. At the time, it sounded like a good idea.
After being kicked out of Blue Lock and subsequently blocked by the love of his life, Seishiro didn't really have much going for him aside from an interest in video games. Might as well make that skill profitable to him.
Or, the story of how one Nagi Seishiro accidentally became a hit gaming streamer, tries to avoid his overwhelming feelings of self-loathing and yearning, fails, plays Miitopia with a party made entirely of Reo, and gets his wife back. In that order. Yes. Really.

Out of all the words that could have come out of Reo's mouth, those three were not the ones Seishiro expected. It stunned him into a temporary silence, scrambling to think if he'd somehow misunderstood the question or if Reo had truly just asked that.
“What does Reo mean?”
Seishiro stalled for time by asking for an explanation, trying to choose his words carefully.
“I mean… like, what kind of girls do you like?” Reo reiterated, doing nothing to solve Seishiro's confusion.
The first answer that came to mind was a resolute: I don't?
Or, Nagi has had a crush on Reo since forever, but is too scared of losing their friendship to confess. He's accepted life in the role of Reo's best friend—sure, he could be happier if they were together, but things are fine. That is, until Reo starts asking him what kind of girls he's into. And what he wants out of a partner. And sets up a dating profile for him. Oh no.

Summary
The next time Chigiri sees Nagi, it's at lunch with Kunigami and Isagi, and he has a silver band on his ring finger. Chigiri can't stop himself from bursting out with, "You got married?" and everyone immediately whips around to stare at them.
"I didn't," Nagi says. He's sluggish to answer, eyes dull and half-lidded, and he barely turns to acknowledge Chigiri. It's not entirely uncharacteristic of him, but there's something strangely robotic about the way he leans away when Chigiri reaches for his shoulder.
"The ring finger is for couples, isn't it?" Chigiri asks. "People will think you're engaged, or something. Isn't it kind of weird?"
Nagi shifts uncomfortably in his seat. "I wouldn't mind," he whispers.
(Five times Nagi loved Reo from afar, and one time he didn't have to.)

His feet grew little wings, hurling him toward the door in a heartbeat and perhaps faster. He wasn’t aware he could ever run this fast, not even on the field. He didn’t remember reaching for the handle, didn’t feel it turn beneath his hand. The door was suddenly wide open, and everything blurred, his vision narrowing down to the pretty purple rose illuminating the doorway.
“Surprise!” Reo whooped, throwing his hands up in the air with uncontained excitement, smacking Nagi right in the face.“Owie,” Nagi mumbled, backing away slowly as he stared at Reo, taking him in: every little feature, the gleam in his eyes, the sunshine painting his face, the radiant smile. He was so beautiful, bright like lemons, and as lively as a sip of lemonade on an irritatingly hot day. He was here, right in front of him…Real.
“Happy birthday!” Reo grinned, flinging himself straight into Nagi’s arms.
