Moon raised the golden jar and a teaspoon.
“Honey?”
“Yes, darling?”
He froze, and you were confused before realizing your error.
Oh, he was talking about the tea.
“What did you say?” he questioned softly.
“Uh, yeah I do want honey.”
He laughed at your response, “Oh, I think you want something more than that, Starlight~ ” he hummed.
Your face was painted many shades of red by now. You didn’t dare look up, lest the lunar animatronic’s eyes tempt you into saying something else you meant to keep a secret.
“We don’t have to talk about this now if you don’t want to,” he reminded.
Now, you risked a small glance up into Moon’s red optics. Your voice was small and almost inaudible.
“No, I want to…”
You held each others’ gaze for a moment before leaning closer.
“Do.. do you..?” you asked softly.
He couldn’t stop himself now that he was aware you felt the same. He gently placed his faceplate against your lips, enveloping you. The kiss was soft and loving, but nervous. Your lips were as soft as a snowflake but warm like the occasional breeze on a summer day.
As you reluctantly pulled away, a small string of saliva between you dripped and fell.
“I love you, honey.”
You smiled in adoration. “I love you too, darling.”
Now, you held each other more passionately. Your chest flush against his, only taking breaks to gasp for air.
You paused when something warm and wet slid up to your neck. You pulled away from the kiss with a shudder of surprise.
“Sun..” you whispered.
“I love you, Sunbite.”
