The Next Generation

Summary:

Hawkins has moved on from the events in the 80s. The next generation of children have come along and none of them know what happened.

Until a car hits a kid on the road at night.

But its not any car.

And its defiantly not just any kid.

Notes:

Hello, This a Continuation of the stranger things series with mine and my two friends original characters, with most of the original cast too. There is some swearing and stuff so just beware. I will slowly be adding the parts in, i just need to organize all the different POVs from the different people into order.

See the bottom for more notes.

Enjoy!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: PROLOGUE

Chapter Text

PROLOGUE:

Matthew's POV:

It was a very dark night in Montauk, I had run away from my home in East Hampton a few days ago after another argument with my mother, when a man the called out to me, I turned to see who it was, it was the Chief of Police of Montauk.

“Hey kid! What are you doing out on the cold? Where's your parents?”

I had thought he was going to take me back to her, that crazy psycho woman, so I ran but he followed. He chased me as I hit a dead end, I turned around scrambling for anything I could use to my advantage, he was puffed out and so I used that. I held out my hand face down, and flung him to one side, he called out in pain. I ran back the way I came; I ran the fuck out of there. Like the idiot I am, I ran onto a road and got blinded by headlights as a car smashed into me, fuck.

Jenna's POV:
I was separated from Eddie when my parents died, I don't remember much of them, or him. After we got the news of Eddie's death, Aunty Jennifer handed me over to Uncle Wayne after the funeral to live with him. Uncle Wayne, still struck with incredible grief, tried to fill the hole in his heart by forcing me to become Eddie. He put me in Eddie's old room. He makes me play D&D and guitar, and wear some of his clothes, like his bandana and chain bracelet. I enjoy some of it because I like his style but, I'm just not him. I like wearing his stuff; it gives me a piece of him to stay with me. Even though I cannot play guitar for shit, and I don't understand D&D, because it's all math, and I hate math. I listen to Uncle Wayne though, Because I want to help him. I am also grieving, but I don't know exactly what. I barely remember Eddie. We got separated when he was 11 and I was 4. It's been 9 years, and I'm 13 now. At least I've been discovering my brother I never knew by trying my best to become him.

Sam's POV:
I live in Hawkins with my family, and have all my life, this summer I start high school. None of my friends are coming with me to Hawkins High, their parents sent them to a better school in a further away town, but because my family didn't want to "waste their money on my education at a better school", I'm going to Hawkins high alone. To top it off my parents decided to go on a holiday without me this summer; they wanted and “escape” from all the “madness” after the earthquake that happened in 86, even though that was over 6 years ago. So, they decided to send me to live with the person who they thought was the most responsible, Steve "The Hair" Harrington, my cousin. Yeah, really responsible. Steve can barely look after himself, let alone me. They thought he would be a good choice because he has his own house and is going to be a teacher at my high school next year. It kind of works in my favor because Steve coaches the baseball team here, and I want to be on it more than anything, only problem, its boys only, but I'm sure I can make it work. I thought this summer would be fun, hanging out with my cousin Steve and camping .Oh, I had no clue what I was in for.
