Work Text:

Sae doesn't like men.

They gross her out. A lot of them smell like shit, look like shit, and act like shit. They show up in the world like they're entitled. They have big inflated ego, fragile stupid pride, and trouble in controlling their emotions.

People keep saying that man follows their brain instead of their feeling, but Sae fails to find ample evidences to confirm the premise. Men are just evolved monkeys. The thing they're really good at is probably reacting according to their primitive instinct and nothing else.

Maybe dislike isn't strong enough word. Sae hates men.

And her little sister seems to attract pathetic excuse of men. Or boys. Whatever.

...

Growing up, Rin wasn't a hostile kid. Sae was the angry and mouthy one. Her little sister's obedient girl, nodding to whatever Sae told her with those round teal eyes.

She was such a sweet child. Their aunts and uncles used to smooch her fat cheeks with wet kisses. She's just a bit weird, but Sae is weird too, so there's inherently no problem.

Her attitude started to rub to Rin, turning her sister into a little menace.

Sae loves Rin. She played with her every time. They didn't have friends, being with each other was enough.

That was until puberty hit. Someway, somehow, there's an invisible distance that started to separate them. They talked less and played with each other even less.

Sae hit pubescence first. The hormonal catastrophe wrecked her physique and her emotional state. She became a bit more withdrawn and cold, especially towards Rin; because it just doesn't feel right to smother Rin with excessive affection anymore, and because sometimes Rin is annoying, and maybe a part of her felt a hint of exhaustion from multiple sacrifices and comparisons left unsaid.

She kinda hates Rin sometimes. Her little sister still tried to cling to her, and Sae had to push her away. She needed room to breathe. Rin better got some too.

Sae wishes she made different decisions.

No one can turn back the past.

Gone is the day when they kicked balls and ate popsicles while watching sunset near the sea. They don't spend time together anymore. Rin's always cooped up in her room, she'll lash like a tiger whenever someone intrudes her alone time; and Sae's just out with her own gang doing whatever she pleases.

Old people are right when they say time flies so fast.

Her baby sister is now a young adult. Sae doesn't even really remember when exactly she hit growth spurt. Rin can even be considered a late bloomer, though that doesn't make the realization any easier for Sae to digest.

On one random Sunday morning, when Rin wakes up from her deep sleep; Sae takes a look, really takes a good look on her sister.

Rin is 16, in just a couple of months she'll be 17. She is tall, towering over Sae centimeters apart. Her shoulders are broad, making her frame looks even more imposing, if not for the cinched waist hiding underneath the baggy shirt. Her face is all sharp, her lashes long, and her eyes lost their naive sparkles.

Rin walks lazily to the kitchen, still coated thick in drowsiness. She fills her mug with water and chugs it down.

The adorable pout is one thing that doesn't change from Rin, along with the template haircut she's been having for forever. Her breasts definitely aren't the same. No longer flat, the mounds hang heavy on her chest, they sway softly when she moves around. Her nipples poke through the flimsy worn t-shirt. Pretty. They are enviable.

Rin's boobs are 3 cup-sizes larger than Sae, she checked the tag when she's doing laundry.

She recalled the moment Rin hushedly told Mama that Sae's old bras don't fit and that it's painful to wear. She probably thought Sae didn't hear that, but she did. Mama and Rin went shopping on the weekend and her sister returned teary-eyed, slamming the door of her room right after they went back home.

On the same afternoon, Sae found a pile of brand new bras inside the laundry basket. Full-cover with wired support, something she has never bothered to look up for. Sae doesn't have the boobs to wear such article. Hell, she often goes without wearing any bras at all.

Sae personally wouldn't cry if she got tits like that.

She guesses her little baby sister has truly became a full-fledged young lady. She's gorgeous, a very stunning woman in the ripening.

Sae is proud, though slightly worried at the same time. She knows men tend to be shallow, and Rin is a lovely flower. Sae wants her to continue to bloom beautifully. She must not be cut nor be plucked. And as her older sister, it's Sae's job to put extra measures to warn off unwanted nuisances.

"What the hell are you staring at?!"

Rin cheeks burn red out of anger, gripping on the mug so tight her knuckles turn white. Sae simply lifts an eyebrow and does not explain.

"Shitty Nee-chan!"

Her sister slams the mug and storms off to her room.

1. Hiori You

The first male species Rin has brought home is Hiori You, a gentle Kansai boy with cyan blue hair and big doe eyes.

Hiori speaks softly in thick accent of his hometown, bright eyes crinkle when he laughs. He visits their home to play video game with Rin, which is probably how they got close.

They've been having matches in the living room, so it's not like Sae can't see them. Hiori always greets Sae properly, never getting into the house empty-handed. He makes sure his presence is known to the older girl.

He might have hid it well, but not even the soft demeanor can hide his true nature. Sae notices how the boy looks at Rin. It certainly is not as platonic as how the lovebirds came out at her to be.

The way Hiori places his hand on top of her thigh is not it, nor the way he steals glances at the younger girl, especially not the firm squeeze on the nape of her neck.

Sae has to scrunch her nose in disgust.

She originally intends to pretend she didn't see anything. It's a wrong move, because apparently he merely gets bolder.

Starting off once, then twice, the gaming agenda now takes place in Rin's room. Occasionally, they switch to horror movies.

Sae takes notes from the eery background music, loud screeching voices, and dramatic jump scare sound effect. She can tell Rin's classic favorites by ears, having to binge it for years cuddled up on the old couch with her back then.

She deems turning the lights off is kind of unnecessary.

Sae can't help but eyeing Hiori in suspicion each time the boy leaves Rin's room with rustled hair and sweaty face. The latter keeps his polite manner, nods to her with a courteous smile and crescent downturned eyes.

As if that would buy Itoshi Sae.

Her dislike towards the boy only strengthens when Sae accidentally caught Hiori smoking outside their house on Rin's birthday. It's no regular cigs. The smell akin to rotten eggs, sulphuric, covered with scent of burnt woods and herbaceous thing that Sae recognizes as marijuana.

At very least he has a decency to stub it out, apologizes to her with dazed face and red rimmed eyes. He brushes off nothing from his clothes, while Sae wonders if that bastard has the audacity to kiss her sister's lips with the very same mouth that smokes weed.

Almost like Hiori hasn't creeped her enough, a couple days after the weed incident, Sae just has to witness something worse.

The tall boy stands in front of their restroom unmoving. He leans forward, still planting his feet on the exact same spot, not showing signs of leaving.

Sae grows impatient. She just got back, and she's been holding her bladder for god knows how long. If the boy wastes even one more second of her time, her bladder's going to burst.

Sae won't trade a risk of UTI with acting nice to Rin's half-baked boy toy.

She snaps harshly, "Are you going to use the restroom or not, blue-head? If not then move your ass."

Hiori chirps a quiet sorry. He smiles and bolts away, right hand's balled into a fist. He shoves his hand into the pocket of his pants.

For some reason, her gut feeling tells her something is not right. Looking around, Sae feels her body goes cold. The urge to piss vanishes as soon as the realization hits.

There, in front of the spot Hiori has stood on dumbly, is where their laundry basket's placed. She remembers precisely it was empty this morning, because today is Sae's turn to do laundry and she always does the wash in the morning.

Her breath picks up when she sees Rin's school uniform lays haphazardly. No one is home, and Sae just got back. Everything in the basket should only be Rin's.

Sae yanks the fabric, finding Rin's PE uniform underneath. Her bra, singlet, her bicycle shorts, even her socks are there. One piece has gone missing.

Gritting her teeth, Sae dashes to Hiori, pulling the back of his clothes to turn him around and chokes his collar.

"Empty your pockets."

Hiori blinks his eyes innocently and tilts his head, "What is it, Nee-san?"

It makes Sae wants to puke. Her tongue tastes bitter from the bile rising up her throat.

"I said empty your pockets, you asshole."

The boy sighs and show his bare palms.

"Don't fucking joke with me." She glares at him. Hiori shrugs and gives up. He fishes out something and shoves it into her chest. A piece of fabric. A white cotton panties, stained, obviously Rin's judging from the size of it.

The boy somehow dares to chuckle under his breath, "Happy now, ya siscon freak?"

She punches Hiori straight on the jaw. There's a loud crack, maybe his bone's fractured. Sae couldn't care less.

That was her final straw.

She can't– won't tolerate this freak at her house anymore.

"Where's Hiori?"

Rin peers through the door of her room, bare feet shifting slightly on the ground. She looks around, but not getting anywhere near Sae.

"That cyan-head is not stepping his feet on this house again. Starting today,"

Sae decides, stern. She stares at Rin straight in the eyes, arms folded, chest rises and falls in calm motion; as if she hasn't just sent Hiori back home with broken mandible and purple bruises on his pretty face.

"Huh?"

"Are you deaf? That boy is banned. Just broke up with him."

Rin's confused face turns fuming beet red, "He's not my boyfriend!'

Sae rolls her eyes and waves her hand dismissively, "Whatever. You heard me."

Rin slams the door.

They don't talk about Hiori anymore.

2. Nanase Nijirou

The thing with Hiori leaves an awful impression on Sae.

He was probably Rin's first close friend, someone whom she brought home for the first time, and unfortunately a creep.

It was clear that Hiori is special. Her little sister has always been withdrawn, but she opened up to Hiori and allowed him into her private spaces. Rin did look like she was enjoying their time together. They really clicked, both have similar interests and they visibly bonded well.

After being forced to sever the connection, Rin isolated herself even more. She refused to talk to Sae and gave her cold shoulder.

Sae's fine with Rin throwing tantrum. She'd rather Rin hates her, than letting the cyan-haired boy ruins her sister's life. She knows best, and she's more than aware of the fact that men often brings up trouble.

So when another boy knocks on their door months later, introduces himself as Rin's classmate, and asks for an update on Rin's well-being; Sae has difficult time to trust him.

The black haired boy, Nanase, isn't starkly different from Hiori. They both have similar air of niceties around them. Kind, wide blue eyes which crinkle the same way. It feels like a deja vu. Maybe Rin has a type.

"Hi! It must be Sae-san. Um, I'm Nanase, Rin-san's classmate. I heard Rin-san caught a fever. I just want to pay a visit, if it's not a bother."

He scratches his cheek shyly. Pathetic. How the hell Rin collects pathetic men like Pokémon, Sae fails to understand. She inspects him from head to toe, and the boy squirms under her scrutiny.

Immediately after he opened his mouth to speak, Sae judges that Nanase resembles an energetic puppy compared to Hiori. While the latter appeared calm and a tad mysterious, Nanase is like a ball of sunshine. He looks like an eager and optimistic loser.

"Fine."

Sae sighs and she lets him in. Hopefully she won't regret it.

Nanase is... okay. He's just a bit noisy.

At least he's taking a good care of Rin. Although if he stays more than half a day, Sae genuinely might suffer from migraine and high blood pressure. He keeps wandering around the house, in and out Rin's room like a fucking iron.

"Sae-san, I'm sorry, but can I perhaps borrow a basin and a washcloth?"

"Sae-san, has Rin-san already taken the meds?"

"Sae-san, can I maybe use the kitchen to whip up a porridge?"

"Sae-san, do you have any ginger here?"

"Sae-san, is it okay for me to borrow your kettle? Where is it?"

"Sae-san, I'm going to leave some of my notes with you. Please keep it for Rin-san. I brought them because I think Rin-san will need it since she missed two days class. This one is for physics, this one is math, and oh- don't worry I have already written it out as clear as I can. Rin-san should have been able to recognize it after she wakes up!"

It is a very exhausting evening for Sae. She Nanase meant well but she's not gonna lie that he gives her throbbing headache. He's like Rin's adopted golden retriever puppy. Running to fetch things and comes back with a big panting grin plastered on his stupid face.

"Rin-san, please recover soon. School isn't the same without you. I really miss you. I'll be waiting for our tutoring session together, Rin-san!"

Nanase is such a flop with that pathetic watery blue eyes and sad Shiba Inu face, holding Rin's hand and yearning at the girl who's completely out. She softly snores in the bed despite the ruckus Nanase caused around the house.

Is Rin his mom or something? For god's sake. Rin just caught a fever, she's not dying of deadly infectious disease, and this is not 1918.

3. Isagi Yoichi

Sae sees Nanase for the second time 3 months later. Or so she thought.

It's the beginning of summer, Rin comes home late with someone walking alongside her. They're eating blue popsicles, that one brand Sae and Rin usually got on their way home.

Sae squints behind the curtain. Nanase's hair dyed dark blue, slightly longer. He has bangs covering his forehead, and for some reason his face gets smaller.

Her gaze pins over the hand resting on Rin's shoulder, just for a moment before Rin flinches and immediately slaps the other away.

"Aww, why?" Sae hears the boy whines.

Rin clicks her tongue, face fierce but red as boiled lobster. "Just get lost."

She blushes even darker when the boy tucks her hair behind her ear.

Blegh.

Rin growls and shoves him. Sae gives her a point for that.

"Ouch! Not even a thank you? You really are a brat, Rin."

"Shut up!"

"Hey, at least say 'see you tomorrow'?"

Sae turns her attention to the useless TV, feigning nonchalance as she finds Rin making vigorous stomps into their house and rushes inside to her room.

"Shitty Isagi!"

Now, who the hell is Isagi and how did he earned equal amount of spiteful treatment as Sae?

...

Apparently, Isagi is the name of the boy whom Sae thought was Nanase. They look very similar if not for the hair color and hairstyle.

So Rin really has a type, then.

They seem to spend their time together a lot. These days Rin gets home even later than Sae. It's not something she's used to. Her sister doesn't usually go out, especially during the time when she's with Hiori and afterwards.

Ever since Isagi, it's an entirely different story.

Sae hates to admit that returning to an empty house actually doesn't feel that great.

ur sister is dating shitty yoichi lol

tell her good luck

oops, do u even know

well now u know

ur welcome

Sae hasn't been keeping contact with Michelle since summer last year. It's not like Sae would expect a sudden text from her fling; especially not her bringing up the news about her ex, Yoichi, dating Itoshi Rin.

Sae doesn't have any clue who the fuck Yoichi is, but Michelle certainly talks about her all the time. The crazy blonde girl even cried her ex's name when Sae was eating her pussy out.

Diabolical.

This Yoichi must have some serious guts though, because if she was dating Michelle– and now Rin, she's got that true inner tamer spirit reigning in her. Or maybe she just happens to like tsundere brat who bites.

...

Yoichi is Isagi's first name.

She finds out when she's on Friday night walk (slash date, per Shidou said) with Shidou post band practice.

The pink haired bassist insisted Sae to accompany her for self-reward, and Sae can't say no because that one new song they have been practicing over and over was incredibly tough, so tough her guitar strings snapped. It's a coincidence that she needs to buy new strings as well.

They're passing by an ice rink on the way back to her place, a couple block apart from the music store. Sae doesn't even know that such attraction existed before today.

"Oh, isn't that Rinrin and Isagi Yoichi?"

Sae blinks when the tan girl elbows her waist. The ice rink is spacious. It can be seen from outside, decorated with pretty lights and fake trees. There are only a few people. Sae could easily tell the girl who's been skating and spinning around is Rin.

Sae instinctively reaches the sleeve of Shidou's leopard print top and pulls her, "Say that again."

"It's Rinrin and Yoichi!"

Shidou jogs forward, bringing Sae with her to get a closer look. Sae's eyes widen, watching her little sister shots a jump, turns in the air, and lands safely.

She's... beautiful.

"Oh my god. You did it, Rin!"

Someone shrieks from the opposite side. They skate through the ice while spreading their arms wide with a clear intention to attempt a hug.

Rin's being her usual bitch self as she moves inches, successfully avoiding the hug and sends the person (whom Sae assumes as Isagi Yoichi) to fall face first into the ice.

"You are so mean!"

Her little sister rolls her eyes, but she helps Isagi to get up nonetheless. They stare at each other, face too close, such way that makes Sae's anticipation rises. It looks like a beginning of a kiss in classic romance movie.

"That was amazing, Rin," Isagi speaks with a smile. Rin averts her gaze, bonking Isagi's head lightly with a fist, then skating away with blushy cheeks.

"It's because I'm not lukewarm like you, stupid Isagi."

Shidou whistles, glancing at Sae and wiggles her blonde brows, "They've got some hots going on, don't you think?"

...

"So, Isagi."

Sae casually drops the name, watching for Rin's reaction closely. She sips her kelp tea, finding her sister looking apathetic; bored eyes trained on her tablet screen, horror clip's playing simultaneously.

"Your new boy toy?"

Rin shrugs and shifts on her seat, burying half of her face deeper into the fluffy pillow she's been hugging. Still a snuggly little girl, she is.

"Isagi's not a boy," Rin says in gruff tone.

Sae's thick eyebrow shoots up. That is new. It caught her attention and she lowkey gets excited. Finally, someone's not a man.

"Nor a girl. Somewhere between that, depends on the day. I don't know," Rin adds.

Isagi does intrigue her. Their influence seems to do wonder for Rin. Sae has never seen Rin looking this relaxed. And the day she saw her on the ice rink, it's unforgettable. It's been so long since Sae witnessed such expression from her little sister. Isagi must be one of a kind.

"Isagi's not into girl, if you're wondering."

Her sister finally spares Sae a look. She closes her tab and shuffles her feet to retreat into her bed, owl-printed pillow in her embrace.

Well then, either Isagi told Rin a big fat lie, or they're too traumatized after dating Michelle and decided that girls aren't their cup of tea.

Sae has to swallow her disappointment though. She kinda likes Isagi. They are not a man, and they obviously make Rin happy. Maybe if Rin brings Isagi home instead of some pathetic boys, Sae could rest assured.

...

Rin and Isagi still hang out with each other, though Sae has too much pride to ask Rin about their relationship.

She did ask Michelle about Isagi though.

The blonde bitch laughed in her face and said, to quote her, "Ain't no way. Shitty Yoichi loves pussies more than I do. Maybe your sister lied to you because she's jealous or something. Sometimes you're so gullible, Sae."

Michelle is number one cunt devotee Sae knows and she never ever fucked with dicks.

4. Vivien Hugo

It's autumn when Rin's birthday is approaching, meaning it's been almost a year since that skunk Hiori smoked marijuana outside the house.

The weather's been kinda chilly, and it feels nice bundled up in thick comfortable clothing.

Sae sighs when the bell rings, hoping that Rin would get the door instead of her. The repetitive noise however starts to annoy Sae beyond help, while Rin doesn't show signs of getting out from her room any time soon.

Sae groans and rubs her face, forcing her body to welcome the unwanted guest. The door clacks as she pulls the handle and letting it become ajar.

Pheet pheet.

Sae blinks.

"Oh, it's not Rinrin."

Sae sees Hugo, their band's keyboardist, currently blocking the entrance of their house. He's standing in front of her with blank face. A stupid polka dot cone-shaped paper cap sitting on his head. The elastic thin string digs into his stubbled chin. He has a tower of assorted pastry choux in hands, arranged skillfully and swirled with golden caramel threads to look like a Christmas tree.

Pheet pheet.

And a colorful party horn on his mouth that unfurls annoyingly when he blows on it.

"Hi, Sae."

The obnoxious party blower dangles between Hugo's lips as he speaks.

"Why the fuck are you here? It's not Christmas yet," Sae mutters.

"But this is for Rinrin's birthday," Hugo finally takes off the stupid blowout from his mouth, batting his incredibly long lashes, slowly like a confused dog.

She sneers, "Don't call her that. Shidou's been rubbing on you."

"Yes, Sae. At least let me in first," he deadpans.

Sae snorts and steps aside, "Whatever."

She watches Hugo as the big guy carefully carries the clear box of croquembouche and places it on their dining table. A lot of questions pop out her mind, like why Hugo went into so much trouble for this pointless celebration, what's the motivation behind this grandiose act; but first and foremost, since when and how did the two become close without Sae knowing.

She doesn't even give Rin presents anymore. She wished her happy birthday like, 4 years ago.

"Now, where's the birthday girl," Hugo mumbles to himself.

Sae twitches in mild irritation seeing the white man roams inside their house freely, as if he lives there. His sock-clad feet are now reaching Rin's room, his large frame haunts the wooden door.

Without a knock or any further precaution, Hugo opens the bedroom and barges in, "Hello, Rinrin. Happy, happy birthday to you. My best wishes. Ah, I bring the dessert you want to try. It's in the kitchen–"

The rest of the conversation's swallowed up once Hugo shuts the door, leaving Sae restless and highly aggravated. She fixes glowering stare at the useless choux tower, trying hard to ignore whatever could possibly happen inside the room.

Men are so desperate when they want something. They do embarrassing things that are futile. Their emotions are fleeting, sweet nothing and not sincere.

Is it too difficult for Rin see that? Or did she actually enjoy it?

Sae tightens her jaw. For once, she decides to let her sister be.

By that, it means she's getting out from the house for the time being. If Rin wants to keep inviting pathetic men into the house, then Sae would gladly remove herself instead. She won't be existing at the place she'd not rather be in.

It's simple like that.

5. Bunny Iglesias

Sae truly does not care about Rin's love life. She can whore herself out, date as many men as she wants. Hell, Rin could fuck tons of those monkeys for all she cares.

But this. Sae can't let it slide.

The last couple of days Sae has been away from home. Her band has gigs outside the town. They're dispelled early though. Encore show is cancelled because the headliner stepped down, and tickets simply won't sell.

It's fine, stuff happens.

Her slouched shoulders are already too tired. The strap of her guitar case slides down slightly. Her body is heavy with fatigue. Sae's eyelids weigh like two wild horses. She is sleep deprived, so close to doze off on her feet. She's gotta thank Shidou for the ride.

Sae flicks the lights on, forcing her body to stand and walk with every ounces of consciousness left in her. Her legs are jelly, they are practically dragged against the floor, unsteady steps bring her in. She frowns, hearing the low sound of their TV from distance.

"Rin?" Sae tentatively calls for her sister.

Sometimes Rin falls asleep in the middle of a boring program, especially those late night celebrity news or vintage steamy movies. She'd be clutching her drool stained owl pillow, curled up into a small ball.

It's been years since then. Sae used to cover her with blanket and she would sleep next to her, or when she didn't want to sleep on the sofa, Sae would scoop Rin and carried her into the bedroom.

The sight before her isn't very different. Rin's just much bigger now, taking up more space, curled up into a ball still.

She's not alone.

Her breath hitches. Gone is the exhaustion on her back, as shock washes over her entirety like she's being put inside a blast freezer. Sae has became very awake when she's welcomed with a visual so horrid she almost died of heart attack.

Sae isn't prepared to find Rin bringing in yet another male species, someone she despises with infinite passion on top of it all.

There in their sofa laid a man half-naked. The soft glow casted from the TV lights up his figure. Solid body littered with old scars and healed lacerations. A pair of jeans hang low on his hips, showing his underwear band. In his arm, Rin is nestled, sleeping like a child under her blanket, while the man caresses her hair idly.

Too familiar, the wide crimson eyes are fixed on Sae. Dilated dark pupils and sweet, sinister smile. Sae feels her breaths pick up, heart palpitating. Her hands are cold, and her neck stiff, her vessels thrum with rage.

Her head pounds when the man rises slightly from where he lays, craning his neck over to spot Sae, "Sae? Oh damn, you're back early. I thought you're supposed to return tomorrow."

Sae loathes the fake gentle tone, hates the way his eyes glint in the dim lit room. She has primordial urge to gouge out those big red eyes, to tear away those smirk and unskin him alive. Her fingers itch to yank the greasy mussed lavender waves.

"Get out of my house," Sae threatens, dropping his guitar case and roughly grabs the man by his forearm.

"Ssh, calm down. Rin is sleeping."

The asshole still has the nerve to shush her and gestures to her sister, who stirs lightly in her slumber. It only makes Sae's blood boils. She lours at him, throwing daggers through a sharp glare, "Out."

The man moans weakly, whilst keeping the smug grin on his dirty mouth, "Geez... It's 1 a.m., Sae. Why are you so heartless to me?"

She curses, "Not my fucking business."

Sae forces the man to get up by tugging his hands. It disgusts her, having to touch the bastard skin to skin; though Sae wants him out from her house now. She shoves him towards the exit. She's a lot smaller but she's not dumb. Using the law of physics, she can kick his ass out while being half his size.

Bunny, that bastard, is not fighting back; instead he just giggles while being pushed around.

"Oh my, you still aren't over it? It's been years, Sae. You gotta admit at least that you enjoyed it!"

Sae's head spins violently as Bunny continues to vomit more words. There's so much anger in her, it's disorienting. Sae needs him gone, now. She starts to feel light-headed. Her palms hurt with the way she grasps the knob so hard the metal digs into her.

"Don't go near my sister. And if I see your face again, I swear I will fucking kill you with my bare hands."

Sae slams the door, locking it twice. They're safe now.

Before she could properly calm herself, Sae briskly advances to Rin and grabs the collar of her pyjama, "I know you're awake. Explain."

She sees Rin blinking her eyes. She doesn't even care about the trace of drool on the corner of her mouth; she used to wipe it out but Rin isn't a baby anymore. She is a girl who could fuck men and give birth to human children, and Sae needs to treat to her like one.

Rin's throat bobs, her teal eyes are growingly stubborn as it begins to fill with consciousness, small mouth perfectly sealed. They're just staring at each other with heated glares.

Sae sighs, so Rin's not going to talk after getting caught red-handed.

"Look, I don't care with whom you're fooling around with. But seriously? Bunny Iglesias of all people, Rin?"

Rin lifts her chin and looks down on her, "So?"

Sae grinds her teeth. Rin knew what happened between Sae and Bunny, knew the bad decisions Sae had made to allow their band ex-drummer doing damage in her life. There's no way Rin forgets. Sae still half-kept in touch with Rin at that time. She remembers that she was so alone, and Rin was the only person whom she could trust with the horrendous facts. Not even her other band member, especially the band members.

"Are you really that desperate to get fucked, huh?" Sae hisses with blatant disgust.

Rin rolls her eyes, and for some reason her reaction bruises Sae's ego, hence she adds, "He's a goddamn free use man-whore. I thought you're better than that."

Her sister doesn't budge. She just stares blankly at her, "Why do you even care?"

Sae releases Rin's collar, "You are my sister."

"It'll be embarrassing if you caught an STD, judging by how many people you and Bunny fucked. I guess birds of a feather flock together, like you defective sluts."

The younger girl looses a breathy laugh, "And what if I am a defective slut too? At least I'm not the one who fucked Bunny Iglesias and got pregnant in the end."

Sae slaps Rin.

Her vision becomes blurry. Her chest rises and falls fast, hyperventilating; and yet the oxygen doesn't free her lungs from the constriction sitting heavy on her ribcage.

Rin cradles her reddened cheek. Sae has hit Rin, but she's the one who feels the sting.

"You are my sister," Sae whispers.

Rin looks up, her teal eyes are borderline empty and fierce. Flashes of emotions that Sae fails to recognize color her face.

"I have never had sex with anyone."

Rin is always an honest girl. She's a good little sister and she never lies to her Nee-chan.

Sae squints her eyes, ignoring the bottomless pit where her stomach drop, the squeeze that makes her heart feels tight. She doesn't know whether or not she wants what Rin has said turns out to be a lie.

"I always save my firsts for Nee-chan," she whispers softly.

Sae's vision shakes. The image of Rin in front of her, clinging to her owl pillow, propping herself and staring right into Sae with the same wide admiring eyes overwhelms her. Everything becomes too hazy, the outline of Rin's velvet skin unclear.

"You said you care because I am your sister. But Nee-chan, do you love me the way I love you?"

The last thing Sae recalls is Rin's melancholic face. Her dark lashes touching her cheekbones, big teal eyes slightly somber.

Something warm and moist meets her lips. It's short and it tastes sweet.

Rin has just kissed her.

Her sister stares with a small smile. She made the same face when Sae told her she wanted to start a band, the face when Sae bought her first electric guitar, the exact same when Sae's off to her first band practice.

The strands of her hair framed her face prettily. Rin's eyes sparkles, as if Sae holds the whole constellation in the sky; but for her, Rin's the cosmos itself.

Sae cups both of her cheek and kisses her back.

Rin's lips are soft, her mouth is small but hot. She has a cute wet tongue, hanging out of her lips when she pours her whole concentration. Sae bets she has never gotten it sucked like a lolly, her low moans confirm it. Her cavern is flooded with saliva, Sae can slide into every edge with no problem, tracing her straight white teeth bit by bit. They are often hidden behind her lips, and Sae kinda misses her happy toothy grin.

"Nee-chan..."

Sae draws a sharp breath when Rin grinds her hips, her arms already found its way to circle Sae's neck. The older slips one of her thigh between Rin's legs, and the latter immediately rubs her crotch on it. Sae gulps, Rin's warm stickiness smeared all over her jeans and she likes it.

She likes it when her sister humps her thigh. She likes to watch her bouncing breasts, to listen to the tiny whimpers and mewls she lets out. Fuck.

Maybe Sae isn't better than men.

Sooner or later, someone will get their grubby hands to pluck her pretty little flower. She might as well be the one doing the job, to deflower her sister.

Because Sae always knows what's best for her.
