The Little Mermaid From 1975

Summary:

Dub names are used.

After watching the 1975 The Little Mermaid on Tubi, I have a different perspective on the Disney version.

Notes:

Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid is better than Disney's sanitized version that mostly deviates from the original material.

This fanfiction uses the names from the English Dub.

Chapter Text

The story starts of with a live action view of Hans Christian Andersen's home town.

 

And now it begins...

Before Marina had even thought about going to the surface she was spending time with Fritz and her family.

Her family consists of her father (The King), her grandmother, and at least 6 to 8 sisters.

"Come on, Fritz." Marina said to Fritz.

"Ok, Marina." said Fritz the Dolphin.

They went to an abandoned shipwreck. Marina found a life size gold statue of a prince (the prince of a kingdom a good distance from where they are).
