What If...Eve and Quinn fused?

Summary:

In a world where Atom Eve and Psyche worked together, they were met with a foe they couldn't handle. As a consequence, they were left defeated and so much worse. In the aftermath, something unimaginably worse was left in the wreckage.

Chapter 1: Part One

Chapter Text

Eve and Quinn flew around the large, humanoid villain. The titanic-sized reptilian humanoid swung its arms around, narrowly missing Eve as she used her powers to fly under its fist. Quinn fired out a beam of psionic energy, producing visible lavender rays as the column of power struck the humanoid. The air was flooded by the pained shriek of the creature, frustrated at its scales being burnt by the high-tempered beam. Eve, taking the moment of distraction, flew over the creature and began blasting down her own beam of pink-hued energy. However, the creature raised its arms to block the blast, making it diverge into two halves, sending one half at Quinn.

"Wha?! Holy shit!" Quinn yelped.

Quinn dispersed his beam, using the residual psionic energy to summon a protective barrier, which was shattered by the sheer force of Atom Eve's raw power. The collision made Quinn crash to the ground, unable to keep himself in the air from the force of his shield breaking. Eve's beam ceased in shock, giving the creature a chance to leap up and grab her in its mighty grip. She attempted another strike, but was thrown to the ground, landing directly into Quinn and making him scream out as she crashed into his ribs. The creature raised its mighty arms, throwing them down to strike the duo, but Quinn instinctively summoned another barrier, which cracked when the creature began slamming against it.

When Eve tried to use her own powers to assist Quinn, the two counteractive forces caused Quinn's shield to flicker and fizzle, making the shield explode into translucent shards of energy. Quinn and Eve watched the enormous fist thrusting down, smashing directly onto them both. The ground was flooded with a puddle of blood, which grew in size as the creature raised its arm and thrust it down again, doing the same with both fists to keep crushing the mangled bodies of both individuals. In moments, the corpses were crushed so severely that it was impossible to distinguish what came from whom.

"Pathetic." The creature snarled.

The reptilian creature turned to walk away, only to notice a glowing pink light radiating from the butchered remains of the formerly living duo. The creature turned to look, discovering the remains were enshrouded with glowing pink light, levitating and firing out a fiery pink flash of blinding radiance. The creature stumbled back, covering its eyes, unable to look at the blinding glow. Within the light, both corpses were forced to merge, as Atom Eve's powers were unable to perfectly distinguish between the genetic and biological components of both individuals that were contained within the blinding radiance. In moments, both corpses were pushed together into a single humanoid figure, standing taller than either of the two that were used to create it, with long ginger-cyber grape hair swaying around.

Their skin was mixing between Eve's pale hue and Quinn's darker hue, before landing on the two skin types unwillingly mixing like melting toffee shaping in a mould. The eyes of the new being flashed, drifting between Quinn's glowing violet and Eve's striking green, but landed on a perfect mixture of both. The forehead of the person began to ripple and distort, causing it to split open perfectly, revealing another eye protruding from it. The pink radiance began to distort, quickly being overtaken by a softer pink hue, which dispersed once the 'restoration' was completed. When the blinding light had ceased, the unknown person dropped to the ground, landing in the bloody crater that formerly held the two components that had unwillingly given it life.

"I-I...Where...How...?" The unknown person questioned, blinking in confusion, using their third eye to look up at the reptilian creature.

"What the..." The creature grunted. "Impossible. They are gone!"

"You. You killed me!-Her!-YOU KILLED US!" The person shrieked, causing their hands to blaze with fiery, soft pink light.

"Us? What are you? Abomination." The creature snarled back.

"We are no abomination. You'll regret even SAYING that!" The humanoid roared, shooting at the reptilian while screaming in anger.
