A modern school AU (senpai–kouhai dynamic) about a childhood friend pair: a boy who appears cold on the outside but is warm-hearted underneath and a tsundere girl with a prickly, short-tempered personality.
Their personalities are still fairly close to their canon selves. This idea came from seeing a fellow fan comment under a post about a collaboration involving the shrines associated with Giyuu and Shinobu's birthplaces, wondering what the two of them would be like if they had grown up as childhood friends. For some reason, my terrible taste immediately made me want to see a scenario where Shinobu is pressured by her family into calling Giyuu "big brother" (what awful tastes I have).
