Despite being one of the most grumpy pro heroes out there, the girl is determined to ask for his autograph, she also wants Deku's, but he's busy with other fans inside the coffee shop.
Dynamight walks in behind him, looking like a very protective shadow, but also like the most besotted boyfriend anyone could ask for. They made their relationship public a while ago, although Dynamight's fans suspected he was head over heels in love with Deku because the one thing the explosive pro hero doesn't know how to do right is to be subtle.
They make a great couple in her opinion; Deku helps Dynamight behave around reporters and fans, and the blond makes the other hero take better care of himself.
Judging by the pictures she's seen, the one who looks absolutely hopeless is Dynamight; he's practically wrapped around the cute pro hero's finger and seems to enjoy spoiling the other. The fans sometimes comment on Twitter that Dynamight acts like Deku's sugar Daddy.
"D-Dynamight-san!" She manages to say, approaching the tall blond. "Could you please sign my poster?"
She always carries it just in case.
"Why not?" It seems the young man is in a good mood that because he smirks, his eyes keep glancing at the green haired hero often though. "But only if you keep a secret for me."
"Sure!" She nods, bouncing with excitement.
"Great, because I've been feeling the need to tell someone lately," he continues, grabbing the poster, eyes constantly staring at his cute boyfriend. "Well... actually, I'll tell you two secrets: one, I'm going to propose to my nerd soon."
She cover her mouth not to scream with delight. She can't believe she's the first one to know something so important about the wonder duo!
"And the other," he looks around first, making sure no one is listening, especially the other pro hero. "The other is something that happened a while ago, before I asked him out."
The fan nods, but doesn't dare to say another word, hoping he doesn't regret confiding in her.
"He wasn't meant to be mine."
"That's not true!" She blurts out, pretty sure the man is pulling her leg. Although there's a glimpse of past pain shadowing his eyes.
"It is... You see, during one of my missions I met someone with a quirk similar to Nighteye's. They could show anyone they wanted their future, but also the different paths available if they wanted to change it. However, there's a price that must be paid in order to change the main timeline."
Dynamight has already signed her poster, but she's too focused on the story to realize. Besides, there's something different about the pro hero; the more he talks about it the more he changes. He looks a bit scary for a moment.
"My sweet Izuku was going to meet someone else and marry them," he almost growls when he mentions the other person, and the girl takes a step back instinctively. "But I couldn't have that. It would have destroyed me. I couldn't-I can't live without that nerd."
After that, the blond hero turns to stare at Deku, still surrounded by kids and fans; his eyes turn deep red, smiling in a way that makes the girl slightly uncomfortable.
But she has to know.
"What happened next? How did you change the future?"
"I got rid of the person who was going to take him from me." Dynamight grins. "Fortunately, my Izuku hadn't met them yet, so my nerd didn't even missed them. He never found out."
"What do you mean you g-got rid of them?" She stammers, feeling a bit dizzy out of the sudden. This can't be true! He's a hero! Her hero!
"It was a small price to pay for it, actually. They couldn't have made him happy, not really. I'm the only one who knows Izuku completely."
It's not possible... They're in a public space, he wouldn't confess something like that to a complete stranger.
"I-Is this a joke?"
Dynamight smirks again, although it takes him a bit to respond to her question. He gives her the poster back.
"What do you think, brat? I'm Japan's number one, after all. And good heroes don't do such things, right?"
"Kacchan, did I make you wait? I'm sorry!"
Since the object of his affections is back, the pro hero immediately focuses on Deku. He leans closer to give him a kiss on the lips and pull him by the waist.
"Not now! Besides, your fan is still here!"
"She doesn't mind," Dynamight says, trying to kiss him again. "Right?"
"Not at all!" She jumps, still feeling a bit tense because of the previous conversation. "Besides, I'm running late for college! I have to go!"
She notices the possessive and almost obsessive demeanor of Dynamight around Deku before rushing out of the coffee shop. But tell herself is nothing she and the other fans hadn't noticed before.
She doesn't know why she's feeling so scared if it was clearly a joke. Only a joke.
But when she takes the train, and hears other people talking about Dynamight, she suddenly remembers something she read on reddit the other day. The users were discussing a few things about the explosive hero's personality and one of them said, to everyone's surprise, because they hand't noticed until he pointed it out: Dynamight has never made a joke.
She doesn't sleep well that night.
