Summary
Jack Abbot is a single father with a growing boy. Dennis was placed into his hands when someone had left baby Dennis at the hospital. As the night shift ER attending, Jack barely has time to take care of himself, let alone a baby.
Years later, the now ten year old Dennis demands more than just jar marina and boxed pasta. At the end of his whits, Jack Abbot takes up morning cooking classes to better take care of his son and his own aging body.
Michael Robinavitch, aka Chef Robby, is a strict instructor at the local community college in Pittsburg. Students are held to the same standards as in a culinary school. Chef Robby never expected a middle aged father to come in all hopeless without a damn clue about heating a pan to temperature. Even so, the father brings a certain sweetness to Robby’s tongue by the end of the semester.
