from what she can recollect from the past night’s events, rui was not involved in any of them. especially when she went to sleep.
and then she notices her window was raised just an inch higher than she usually sets it.
rui really is that stupid…
so anyway, she gazes right into the familiar yellow irises of her beloved.

”hmmmmm…breathing?”
she flicks his forehead, then proceeds to step out of bed. her legs nearly give way but she manages to regain balance in mere milliseconds. oh well.

”well, good morning to you, saki! i was just about to leave to meet up with emu at the nearby cafe today. there’s leftover pancakes in the fridge if you want someRUI KAMISHIRO WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE”
saki’s small head snaps to turn itself towards rui, already looking alive and alert and awake and very much enthusiastic (its a reference to my band class but its ok if yall dont get it lmao)
“tsukasa-kun~! i thought i texted you last night that i would be joining my dear saki-kun…in her sleep?”
…oh no fucking way he TEXTED MY BROTHER ABOUT IT TOO
”what are you saying, rui?”
”ah, nevermind. just know i was here!”
rui waves his best friend off, somehow having heard of tsukasa’s spoken departure to meet up with emu.
…and saki, confused as i would be if shinonomom official design was released and she was also dark brown haired, was lost in her thoughts up until her ears caught on to the sound of the door closing.
and, also, rui breathing a little too close behind her.
”WHAT THE HELL RUI?!”
