Work Text:
Asuka's POV
The wind fairly grazed around as the evening lights were dimly lit. It is currently 6 o' clock as Asuka arrives at the train station, worn out from work. After all, being a teacher isn't easy. Handling rowdy students, taking care of the school festival, making lesson plans. Those may seem a piece of cake but end up being tiring.
"Phew, I'm lucky there's no strong wind coming out from outside." Asuka panted. "Though, I did see on the forecast that today might be rainy and- Oh!" She suddenly jumped out to the buzzing noises of the train and hurriedly made her way to the entrance. Hopefully there won't be any issues..for now.
Natsuki's POV
Natsuki walked throughout the corridors of the F/ACE headquarters, hoping to find Mr. Fujita in his office. Many things popped up in his mind as he pondered, including a certain woman. Oh, how'd he do anything to pay his debt to her, being the cause of her scars. But now, he had something to do.
"Mr. Fujita!"
He walked into the office to find the manager of F/ACE standing, looking at the window. "I made the script for the night conciliation video! Take a look!"
"Let me see." He took the paper out of the young blond's hand and fixed his glasses as he glanced. "These lines are alright, but why is there 'I hope the train you took at 6:02 wasn't too crowded today.'?"
"Well you see, adding a line like that makes it intimate. That means it will make me look closer to them. Like I'm genuinely here by their side."
"Hm, very well. Record it and let's go."
"Alright!"
The F/ACE van smelled like cigars and cheap alcohol as Natsuki sat in the back. Removing the 'Hottiehara' glitter all over him with a makeup wipe, he carefully looked at his phone. Specifically he looked at photos of Asuka, photos that he shouldn't have.
"Oh, Asuka." He began speaking in a Kansai dialect.
"Didnt I tell ya' to stop speaking with that guy? I wonder if he found out about your leg injury, would he still want you?" He chuckled.
"But that doesn't matter, I'll get you. One way or another."
Asuka's POV
Asuka had just arrived home after a long hour being in the train. Opening the door to her relief, she quickly closed it and brought out her phone to a new notification.
'F/ACE Nightly Conciliation; Starring Natsuki Ishibashi'
"Hmm, he does those types of videos? Well, what could it be? Just some fan service that's all."
She then hit the notification which played out a video. Her favorite idol and bias was in a yellowish beige hoodie with a black turtleneck sweater underneath. His eyes dazzling like amber topazes and his adorable voice soon spoke.
"Hello, dear E/YES! It's Natsuki!"
"How are you? Tired right?"
"It's okay, dear. Don't overwork that leg of yours."
What? What did he just say?-
"Hopefully the train ride at 6:02 PM wasn't so tiring, right?"
Wait..
That's the exact same time Asuka went home!
Slowly but surely, she panicked out much to her dismay. How did he know she boarded the train that time? And how did he manage to?-
No, that's not the time for that. She has to call for help. Asuka then dialed out her best friend's number, scared for her life.
"Pick up, pick up, please pick up!" She cried out.
Finally a voice was heard through the screen, but not her best friend's calm and reassuring voice. It was a rough, Kansai-ben voice. A voice only she knew about who could that be.
"Asuka, why are you callin' people out so late? Who are you callin' huh? Your new boyfriend?"
She recognized the voice to be her ex boyfriend's as the aforementioned person had quite an accent of such Kansai language.
What's more chilling than the fact that it was him is the fact that it was heard both in the phone and outside the door.
"Open up the door, Asuka." He said in a low, raspy voice. "I'm waiting for you."
"Won't you open it?"
Asuka's heart was filled to the brim with anxiety and fear as Natsuki knocked on the door. "Open up."
"Get..get lost.."
Just then, a sharp turning sound of metal through metal was a sound she didn't want to hear, not at all.
The door opened up to reveal her ex Natsuki, still dressed in the clothes he wore in the video. But his eyes weren't full of sparkles and innocence. No, it was dead inside with no glint of light.
Asuka was terrified at the sight of Natsuki and immediately tried to run, but her injured leg gave up and betrayed her as she stumbled on the carpet.
"What happened, Asuka?" Natsuki kneeled down after he locked the door. "Can't run away?"
"You- How did you get h-here?"
"Let's just say, I paid the property manager a little bonus." He then caressed her scarred leg, reminiscing about the past they had and how he will not let go.
"Pfft, such a pity. No man will ever love a half broken woman like you: except me. So why can't you see that? You're gonna need glasses, don't ya'?"
"Say that you don't want me to leave. Or else I'll burn down F/ACE's reputation, and have you hold the match."
He pressed his forehead against hers as he threatened the dark red haired woman, his grip around her leg tightening not enough to hurt but to possess. "Say it."
"I-"
"I said to say it."
The woman then almost broke down with her voice teary. "Please..."
"Please what, hmm?"
"Please..please don't leave.."
Upon hearing the sentence he wanted to hear, Natsuki's lips curved into a satisfied smile sure of victory. "I knew you would comply, good girl."
He then picked her lithe and delicate body up in his own arms and walked towards the bedroom, turning the deadbolt lock from inside after arriving with a simple-
