Work Text:

Jay doesn’t usually tell anyone this, but there is a creature living inside him at all times. The creature can come out at will. It transforms his body into a massive, humanoid alien that feeds on human brains when it gets hungry, and it has simultaneously ruined and made his life better.

Better in the sense that this creature from another planet who bothers him daily begging him to eat brains inside his own mind has made life in a big city a little less lonely. It has ruined his life because, well, it is a creature from another planet who bothers him daily begging him to eat brains after all, and there is no amount of exposure that can help him get used to the bizarre experience of biting someone’s head off.

Jay first met this creature late at night in a small park, surrounded by the well kept garden, when he felt particularly lonely after a not-really-mandatory-but-actually-yes-mandatory outing with work colleagues. He called Sunghoon, then called Jake, but neither of them picked up. Alone and tipsy, all Jay wanted was some fresh air, maybe even some peace of mind if he got lucky enough.

What he got instead was the odd sensation of something crawling inside his skin, a high fever, a suspicious lack of any memory of how he got home, and a voice in his head that sounded nothing like his own waking him up the morning after with a:

Don’t you have to go to work?

Jay tried seeing psychiatrists. He tried seeing a shaman too. He tried going to church, and therapy, and everything available to him all within the span of a week only to give up once the creature showed itself to him in a mirror, with its sharp teeth and slippery, dark skin, and said:

Forget it. I am not a mental disorder. I am not a demonic possession either. I am a living being, and I have made you my host.

The creature named Jungwon — the irony is not lost on him — stayed. Jungwon stays, present tense. It has been months, and he says he is not going away, so Jay has gotten used to him.

Jay eventually tries to get Jungwon to be a little more picky with which brains he wants to eat because not everyone deserves to get their head bitten off. Jay also tries to get him to stop singing in his head when he is trying to work, but all Jungwon ever says is that he knows better. He knows more, because he is an alien with the knowledge of the universe, and Jay is nothing more than a tiny little human who knows nothing.

That usually makes Jay reply saying Jungwon quite literally can’t survive without him, so who really is the big, bad guy between the two of them? And that ends up with a limb resembling a tentacle emerging from any part of Jay’s body to smack him on the back of his head, which usually means Jungwon can’t counter with solid arguments, and to Jay that counts as a victory.

So despite the brain-eating stuff, coexisting with Jungwon is not bad. Jungwon can heal any visible bruise or internal pain. Jungwon can live off chocolate too, though he is not happy about it. Jungwon is quite literally the voice in the back of his head with a mind of its own, and, to Jay’s surprise, daily life in Seoul gets a little less lonely with him.

That is not what his friends believe, though, because Jay obviously can’t tell them there is an alien who needs a host to survive living inside of him and he happens to be said host. So Sunghoon, or most often Jake, tries to get him to go on blind dates. Jay tries to explain he really doesn’t need that in his life right now, but they are very insistent, and Jay has a hard time standing anyone up. Besides, having mindless fun with someone isn’t such a bad idea.

But the day he goes on a date with Jake’s, uh, former Grindr hook up turned friend?, Jungwon decides it would be hilarious to loudly recite every single word in the dictionary throughout dinner, and so Jay ends up going home earlier to get him to shut up. Then he goes on a date with one of Sunghoon’s college friends, and the guy is very handsome and very charming, but Jungwon’s limbs start growing out of him against his will, and he gets so paranoid his date is going to see it he decides to go home earlier. Again.

“You need to stop doing that,” Jay says to the walls in his apartment, angrily taking his clothes off.

Why? I thought we were having fun.

“You were having fun, sure, but I was trying to have a different type of fun, okay?” Jay spits out, trying to catch his breath in between words. “But you keep— trying to find ways to interrupt me. It’s frustrating.”

I don’t see how you need them for that. You have me.

Jay does not say anything for a very long time. He does not say anything at all, in fact. He takes his clothes off, jumps in bed, and promptly falls asleep.

But Jungwon’s words stay with him.

Jay tells his friends the dates didn’t work out, please don’t set him up with anyone else, thank you. He ignores the shivers running down his spine when Jungwon hums happily inside his head, and smiles awkwardly at Jake over a video call. He gets some peace, finally, in that aspect.

Except not really.

Jay is showering one day, tired from work, and he drops the soap bar on the floor. It was one of those especially hard days that even accidentally dropping a soap bar can drive someone to tears, but before the first one rolls down his face, one dark, sticky tentacle emerges from his back and picks it up for him.

“Thanks,” Jay mumbles, watching as the tentacle carefully drops the soap bar in his open palm.

Jay does not move for a couple seconds. He remembers Jungwon’s words from weeks ago, saying he doesn’t need anyone else if he wants a different type of fun in his life, and holds his breath. Then, to his horror, a borderline evil cackle reverberates in his mind.

I can hear your thoughts. I hope you remember that.

“Stop,” Jay hisses.

But to his horror yet again, the tentacle doesn’t disappear back into his body. It stretches further, grows thicker. The tentacle coming from Jay’s back wraps itself around his leg, up, up, up, until it inches ever closer to his hardening cock.

Except that, as soon as Jay’s breath hitches, the tentacle retreats back into his body.

He can’t hold in a frustrated groan. Jungwon, of course, laughs manically at him.

“Jungwon. Come on,” Jay whispers to the tiled walls of his shower.

Come on what?

Jay goes blind with frustration for one good second right there. He breathes in and out, deeply, and decides he is not going to give in. So he finishes his shower, goes back to bed, and does not talk to Jungwon again.

But Jungwon is an all-knowledgeable creature, and he is quite literally inside Jay’s mind at all times, so he decides this is a game for them to play. At work, when Jay feels a tentacle slither up his leg, and he can’t show any reaction lest he wants to look insane. In public transportation, under layers of clothing, and Jungwon’s touch is feather-like over his nipples. At the grocery store of all places, and Jay nearly drops a jar of tomato sauce because there is a tentacle sliding down his back, not showing any signs of stopping.

Of course, when Jay confronts Jungwon, he is met with silence.

So he decides he is going to play this game as well.

On a Saturday evening, Jay decides to go out. He invites Jake and Sunghoon to go with him, and they agree, which is just what he needed. He just put on his best perfume, and the voice who miraculously didn’t say anything for one whole day suddenly decides to come back.

Where are you going?

“Out,” Jay says, combing his hair back with his fingers.

What for?

“Who knows,” Jay shrugs. “Maybe find someone who will actually go all the way to the end with whatever they start.”

Silence. Blissful, blissful silence. Jay is picking up his phone from the bedside table and shoving it in one of his pockets, ready to get out of his bedroom, when all of a sudden he loses control of both arms and both legs, and his steps come to a halt. He peeks at the mirror to his right — Jungwon’s dark, slippery limbs have taken over part of his body, effectively freezing him in place.

“Let me go,” Jay says, tired.

No.

“Jungwon,” Jay sighs. “Let me go. My friends are waiting for me. Come on.”

Two things happen nearly at once. One, he watches a dark limb resembling a tentacle reach for the door only to lock it; two, another dark limb reaches for Jay’s phone inside his pocket, brings it up to his face to unlock it, and all he can do is watch as Jungwon taps on the group chat Jay has with Jake and Sunghoon and use his comically large thumbs to type out a:

not goin out anymore srry

Jay watches his phone fly across the room and hopes the screen doesn’t crack. He sighs heavily, then tries to get his legs back into his control again, but it obviously doesn’t work. He stands there, in the middle of his bedroom, unable to move.

“Are you going to let me go, or are you also not going to finish what you started here?”

I haven’t started anything.

“Right. The same way you haven’t done anything in the past few days.”

Do you want me to do something to you?

Jay’s left hand, being controlled by Jungwon, grabs his face and turns it to the mirror. His cheeks are uncomfortably squished between Jungwon’s fingers, and he can’t say anything about it, but he can watch — the tentacles, fragments of Jungwon’s body, emerging from his back in different sizes, some thicker, some thinner, some longer or shorter.

Jay holds his breath when a pair of tentacles slides across his body and finds his belt buckle, swiftly undoing it. The same thrill that left him trying not to gasp for air at work, on the bus, at the grocery store, all of it comes back when the ever-growing limbs start undoing the buttons on Jay’s shirt as well. He is sure he is shaking in anticipation, and Jungwon must feel it, because he laughs.

Do you want it?

“Yes,” Jay whispers, breathless. “Please.”

Jungwon, predictably, laughs again.

See? All you had to do was ask nicely.

Jay would call Jungwon a brat right then and there, but he doesn’t have the time to do it. He regains control of his arms and legs for a fraction of a second, only to see, in real time, as the tentacles grow longer and he is pulled back into bed. The same tentacles now undress him in a hurry, too quickly for him to even try to help, and it both scares and excites Jay, who can only watch.

His chest is going up and down frantically when he gets completely naked on top of his bed. One of Jungwon’s tentacles reaches for the blinds, pulling them down, leaving them only with the warm lighting of Jay’s bedside table lamp.

No one else can see you like this.

Jay laughs, breathless, staring down at his twitching cock for a moment, and then watching as more of Jungwon’s tentacles emerge from him. They reach Jay’s full-length mirror in the corner and bring it to the foot of the bed, giving Jay a view of himself.

Only me. And you, of course.

“Oh, fuck,” Jay whispers.

He loses control of his limbs once again, confused with what is happening until he notices he is face to face with the mirror, lying on his stomach, arms pulled back in an almost painful grip by a pair of tentacles. He tries to rut down on the bed, already feeling his cock aching in anticipation, but another pair of tentacles pull his legs apart, and he is left essentially immobilized. Jay drops his head down, breathing in the scent of his bedsheets, and laughs.

“What took you so long?”

He doesn’t get an answer. Not verbal, at least. He can feel the gooey tentacles sliding across his back, and there are so many of them, going nowhere and everywhere, that Jay is getting dizzy. He sighs, bordering on a moan, and tries to rut down on the mattress again unsuccessfully. Then, one of the tentacles grabs the back of his hair and pulls his head up, forcing him to look at himself in the mirror.

You are fun to tease.

Another tentacle slides across his body, wrapping itself around Jay’s neck, not quite choking him, but leaving a nice pressure. Then one more tentacle, sliding up, up, until it grows thicker right as it touches Jay’s bottom lip, forcing his mouth open. He doesn’t have much of a choice here; Jungwon’s tentacles are a little bitter, uncomfortably slippery, but soft under his teeth. Jay hears a deep hum inside his head when he gives it a tentative suck, and hopes it is a good sign.

Jay is already overwhelmed as it is. He breathes carefully through his nose because his mouth is stuffed with one of Jungwon’s tentacles. He can’t move, because both hands and legs are tied; all he can do is look at himself in the mirror, because he is being forced to by the tentacle pulling at his hair. He hums, then hears a chuckle.

Like what you see?

Jay doesn’t get to answer, but he would say yes. Reluctantly, definitely shy, but yes. Jungwon can probably sense it, because he hums, turning Jay’s head this way, then that way, as if he is admiring the view himself from behind Jay’s eyes.

Yeah. Me too.

One of the seemingly infinite tentacles slides down Jay’s back, and he can feel it grow thicker the further it goes. He squirms on top of the bed, trying to get some dry friction on his aching cock, and hums. The thick tentacle spreads his asscheeks apart, so close to finding his hole, but it retreats slowly. Then it goes back, retreats, and back again, teasing him, getting close but not quite where he wants it.

He doubts Jungwon gets any real pleasure from this. He knows, deep down, Jungwon is only doing this to tease him, to get him to his limits. Jay whines, the sound muffled by the thick tentacle in his mouth, and he hears Jungwon’s laugh in his head.

The thick tentacle fucking his asscheeks grows thinner, and Jay holds his breath. He feels it, gooey, sticky, naturally slippery, as it circles around his hole slowly, always teasing him. Jay closes his eyes for a second, but a hard pull to his hair forces his eyes open again.

I want to watch you. If you close your eyes, I’ll stop.

Jay shakes his head, nostrils flaring in fear with the possibility. Jungwon laughs again, a little meaner this time, and continues teasing Jay around his hole. It’s similar to a tongue, except smoother and a little colder; but it pushes past the rim far more easily, as fingers would, beginning to stretch Jay out.

He is surprised he hears the squelching sound of the tentacle slowly fucking into him past the ringing in his ears, past his desperate panting. Jay almost, almost closes his eyes again, lost in pleasure, but the tentacle in his hair is firm and present, reminding him that there will be a punishment if he ever thinks of doing that.

So the tentacle slowly fucking into him grows thicker, stretching him nicely, but doesn’t grow much longer. Jay tries to understand why that is inside the fucked-out haze of his mind, but he soon gets his answer when the tentacle presses against a specially sensitive spot inside of him. Then again, and again, though dragging it out as if it is in no rush.

Jay should’ve figured it would be like this. Jungwon, for all of his knowledge of everything in the universe, is very curious about what he comes across — humans, and humans in their pure humanity, mostly. He knows what it means to be anxious, but finds it fascinating that it shows itself in lip biting for one of Jay’s friends. He knows what a joke is, but can’t find an explanation in his infinite knowledge as to why another of Jay’s friends doesn’t laugh at some of Jay’s jokes specifically.

So it makes sense that Jungwon knows to do all of this — tie Jay’s arms and legs up, stuff his mouth with a tentacle, wrap another one around his neck, pull his hair, press a tentacle into Jay’s prostate —, but it also makes sense that he forces Jay to look at himself in the mirror. He knows some can feel good in this predicament. Seeing someone feel good is the novelty here.

Jungwon hums.

And you are very reactive. I like doing this to you specifically.

Jay would laugh if not for the tentacle in his mouth growing thicker, making his jaw ache with the stretch. He also notices he has drooled, and the saliva has mixed in with whatever gooey alien liquid that makes Jungwon’s body so slippery, dribbling down his chin. He almost closes his eyes yet again, but when Jungwon slows down the tentacle stretching his hole, he opens them again.

Good that you know.

The press of Jungwon’s tentacle against his prostate when he is incredibly hard but is getting virtually no friction is both mind-numbing and infuriating. It’s everything and nothing all at once, and he finds it even more frustrating that more tentacles emerge from his back to stop him from squirming on top of the bed to try and get anything to touch his cock. He whines again, and Jungwon pulls harder at his hair, and Jay knows to shut up.

The first tears that fall from his eyes are almost inevitable. Jungwon laughs in his head, even going as far as cooing, but the tentacle hammering into Jay’s prostate grows faster, giving him more precious, precious pressure.

You are very, very pretty.

Jay finds it ridiculous that he only feels himself blushing now, with the praise, when there are so many tentacles on his body he’s lost count of them. Jungwon seems to find it amusing too, humming, and getting more tentacles to wrap around Jay’s whole body, immobilizing him further. He lets himself think this is Jungwon’s own twisted way of hugging him, while giving him exactly what he wants.

But the tentacle fucking into him turns into a tentacle completely still inside of him, thick and heavy, oozing with slippery liquid that made the slide even easier. Jay is about to protest when he feels the tentacle slightly changing shape, and all of a sudden there is something sucking onto his prostate instead of pressing on it.

That has Jay groaning around the tentacle in his mouth, clenching around the tentacle in his hole, and rolling his eyes to the back of his head for a brief moment that ends very quickly when he remembers he should look at himself in the mirror at all times. Though it is kind of useless now, because his vision is blurry — both with tears and the earth-shattering pleasure he gets from every suction on his prostate.

There we go. You like this much better.

Jay tries and fails to nod. He is exhausted, and aching all over, and although his cock is pressed to the mattress, he can barely move to get one, even one touch in so he can finally, finally come. Because there is pressure, and there is intent, but he can’t quite get there. He whines again, shaking his head, watching another couple tears run down his cheeks. Jay flexes his fingers as if it will make the ghost sensation travel to his cock, but it only leaves him more frustrated.

So he clenches around the tentacle, and it puts even a little more pressure to his cock. He breathes heavily, trying again, and he gets closer. One more time, and closer, closer, closer, until he finally reaches a point of no return.

Jay can’t help it. He rolls his eyes to the back of his head again as he comes, and his orgasm rocks through his whole body, finding every end of every nerve, making him hold his stomach in to ride it for a little longer. Jungwon, despite the threat he made earlier, does not stop — he hums, too, to Jay’s surprise. He moans, although a little lower, as if he feels all of this with Jay. He sucks on the prostate, and pushes the tentacle to the back of Jay’s throat, almost making him gag. He goes, and goes, until Jay starts shaking so much Jungwon knows to halt all of his movements.

Jay is breathless, completely immobilized. He opens his eyes again, and sees that his face is a mess; wet everywhere, red with exertion, his eyes heavy with fatigue.

The first tentacle to pull away is the one around his neck, but it’s quick, unlike the one in his mouth, which is the next. Jay breathes heavily through his mouth once it’s free, the sound almost startling; his lips are red and angry, his jaw aching. Then, the tentacle inside of him pulls out, a little more slippery, and he whines at the loss. And finally, the tentacles who kept him in the same position this whole time let him go, and Jay’s body flops down on top of the mattress.

It hurts, though it’s the good type of hurt. He hisses when he turns to his side, but laughs weakly after he sees the mess he made on his bedsheets when he came. Jay slowly tries to catch his breath, watching the state of his own body, and only jumps slightly when he feels tentacles slithering across his skin again.

Except this time they are softer. Gooey all the same, but less assertive. There are tentacles wrapped around his legs, and his middle, until one bigger tentacle sliding down his arm takes the shape of a clawed hand and intertwines their fingers.

Jay looks at it. Then he laughs at the absurdity of it all.

Don’t ever think of going on a date again. Or out with your friends to find someone. I will bite their heads off if you do.

Jay licks his bruised lips, tasting Jungwon’s bitterness on them, and nods. He squeezes Jungwon’s fingers with a hum.

“Yeah,” he whispers. “Don’t worry.”
