“Huh? Here?”
She actually can’t actually see him that well in the dark but his eyes are slanted, meaning it’s probably that cute thing where he has his head at an angle and he’s all confused.
“Uhh, wait where are you pointing”
“There, where the ‘Dippers’ are”
She points a claw at the ‘Little Dipper’ where there’s a pretty bright one at the base.
“Oh! Oh! That uh… yeah! Polaris! It’s also called the North Star sometimes, ‘cus it’s like: where north is, or something. I dunno, I forgot.”
“But uhhh, no, yeah, wait, hold on, heeeeere”
He holds her paw and helps her point it at the brightest one.
“That one?” The star does indeed seem brighter than the others.
“That’s like. No, wait, uh. Nono, like I MEAN it’s the right one, I just… Okay” He rubs his paws against his head, ears flattened “Cow told me thissss how did I forget, uhhhhh. Serious! Yeah. Serious.”
“Serious?” She said, “Are you serious?”
“Huh?”
“Serious can’t be the name right? That doesn’t make sense, who names a star Serious?”
“I dunno two-legs call them all sorts of weird things with all different kinds of sounds, but…”
He pauses, blinking a few times, then bursts into laughter suddenly
“What?”
“How are you spelling that?”
“What? Serious? S-e-r-i-o-u-s?”
He starts laughing louder
“Oh my stars, Moth Flight! It’s Sirius! S-i-r-i-u-s!”
“What? What? Really?”
“Yeah, I’m being ‘Serious’”
She started cracking up at that one actually.
“Micah, really?”
“You did it earlier, I gotta too!”
