Chapter Text
Many forget how quickly the weather can change in Bangkok during typhoon season. It can change from a peaceful, warm day to swelling rain and high winds in minutes. The streets quickly filled with water, people running for cover as lightning lit up the skies above them. It was always the perfect time for other things to happen, when people ignored everything around them just to find protection from the storm.
The storm, such a perfect cover that no one noticed the pair of boys darting into an old run down shop in a rough neighborhood. A place no one would think to look for someone.
The boys were soaked as they walked up to the figure tied to a chair in the middle of the room, the man spitting, struggling as the pair came closer. Yelling vile things even with the gag in his mouth. But it did nothing to hide the fear in his eyes.
One of the boys stepped forward. He’d once been scared of the captive man, but no longer. Not with the other boy by his side. Not with the tools in their hands, the sharp edges catching light in lightning flashes of the night.
The man's screams were covered by the raging storm outside, the echoes dying out only hours later when his heart did.
When the body would be found a few days later, there was no way to ID him but through dental records. The slow torture he went though would put fear into anyone who laid eyes on the body. It was too much for the police to release photos to the public.
And the worst part? They had no clues on who did it.
No DNA
No fingerprints
No blood
It was almost like the monsters of hell had reached up to punish this man.
That night though, miles away, in a college dorm room, two boys lay together in bed. Holding each other as they slept in the warmth of each other's bodies and blankets.
The only sign they had even been out that night were the piles of soaked clothes by the front door
And a few red stains in the shower.
