“Hey, Atsushi! Did ya hear we're getting a new hire? I heard she's gonna be hot!” Dazai smiled as he spoke, only to get hit by Kunikida. “Dazai, you waste of bandages, get to work. And, you've been informed that the new hire is nonbinary. Respect it.” Kunikida gritted out, his face, not surprisingly, red from frustration. Dazai pouted but Atsushi perked up. “There's a new hire? Why? Is their ability really good?” He asked, his concentration moved away from the loads of paperwork and to the new hire.

“U-uh… h-hello…” The new hire spoke. ‘They seemed nervous, but at least it wasn't like my entrance exam.’ Atsushi thought to himself. “... my name is Lilith, I was told I could find a job here.” They spoke to Kunikida. They definitely weren't dressed their best, you could just tell by their messy black hair, their mismatched socks, their… crocs, and how their clothing was messily thrown on. Their eyes were a dark brown, almost black. Their body was chubby in a way that made Atsushi stare more. Their makeup was messy around the eyes, unprofessional but surprisingly cute.
“Hello, Lilith. I'm glad you could make it. I'm Kunikida Doppo, the woman you talked to was Yosano Akiko. I assumed she told you what we do?” Kunikida asked, his hand clenching to try not to hit Dazai for being an idiot and pervert. The person bowed, whether that being in greetings or apologies not clear. “I apologize for being late! My son was being fussy.” Lilith spoke out, coming back up into a standing position. “And yes, she told me. I once again apologize for being late.”
“It happens. Kids are like that.” Kunikida grits out, clearly at least a bit annoyed at their far from punctual arrival. “Yosano told me you were here because of your ability. What may that be? These are simple questions we ask everyone.” Kunikida slightly calmed himself down, earning a giggle from Dazai because he couldn't wait for their entrance exam. “U-um. My ability grants me invisibility whenever I am startled… however, I believe with t-training I could have it to where I turn invisible on command…” Atsushi was still eavesdropping in on the conversation in the corner. He perked up at their ability, thinking it was sick as hell!
“So… I have to do what now?” They questioned. “To test your capabilities, you will be on a very easy mission. Just to see how well you can work.” Kunikida explained, but Lilith was only half listening to him. Their eyes were roaming around the room before accidentally locking eyes with Atsushi. They immediately averted their gaze, having it go back to Kunikida. Their face heated up, as did Atsushi's.
“On your mission, you'll be paired up with me. If you don't mind, we can get going now.” Kunikida cleared his voice, startling Lilith. “Y-yes, that's fine. Let me quickly text my babysitter. I need to c-check on my son.” They pulled out their phone. Atsushi and Dazai both struggled to stop their giggling at the person's Hello Kitty phone case. “Of course. If you don't mind me asking, how old is your son?” Kunikida questioned, tapping his foot whilst they texted. “He's three… God, that feels weird to say… um… we can go now, apologies for making you wait.”
