Chapter Text
It has been a while hasn't it? The air was tense since Telamon's disappearance. Taking a look around HQ Builderman seems quieter then before, less joyful and happy. The other admins don't seem to be taking it lightly either. Doombringer was snappier and slightly irritable, Clockwork seemed to not change too much but was concerned for everyone's well being, Tarabyte and Sorcus seem closer than before as they're always with each other, Stickmasterluke and Dued1 both seemed to be distracting themselves by doing more work by fixing bugs n shit their games. Reese was usually in the forest taking care of some extra bugs in its code and watching over the animals there. Brighteyes was very fearful of the sudden vanishing, cherishing all the items Telamon had given her. Then there's me; I must admit, Telamon's disappearance was far from expected. 2x2 suspects it has something to do with the evil 1x1x1x1, but I fear that may not be the case. I was walking throughout the HQ halls, my mind lost in all the stress from paperwork, until I suddenly bump into Doombringer on the way.
"You good Duse? You seem like there's a lot on your mind..."
"I am alright my friend, all though my mind seems to bare no end."
"Dusekkar you need to rest."
I stare up at Doom, the bulky red admin having a small shine of worry in his eyes. I float to a nearby bench, sitting down as I gesture Doombringer to sit too.
"My dear friend, I am worried for the disappearance of Telamon. 2x2 seems to be distraught, I mustn't let them lose thought."
I readjust the decorations on my antlers, sighing deeply.
"I think we all are Dusekkar... 2x2 and Builder have been working their asses off trying to find out where the guy went. He's a holy deity! Why would he just run off like this? It's unlike him."
"Maybe he knew what to do, as he usually just flew."
Doombringer looks at me confused. In his head he must've been wondering what I meant since he had stayed silent for a long while. Just as I suspected he was about to speak up, a loud ear blaring noise came out of the intercoms, asking all the admins to meet in the meeting room. Builderman was the one speaking, and he sounded serious.
"Everyone please meet in the meeting room. This is urgent and I need everyone's input."
Me and Doombringer stand up at the sudden announcement, Doombringer pats my head before we both make our way to the meeting room. On the way there Doombringer was ranting on about random things, work, his fights, banning some hackers, more things...
"So yeah this guy was using fly hacks and stuff and it was really fricken annoying-"
Doombringer comes to an abrupt stop as he sees Clockwork walk by and give Doombringer a small wave. All though Doombringer was big and "scary", he acted like a lovesick high schooler from one of those cringy romance movies looking at his crush every time he interacted with Clock. I poke Doom's arm noticing how flustered he got. Reese, being not too far away from us, also seemed to notice the brief interaction and Doombringers' reaction to it. She walks over to us with a smug grin.
"So... Seems like someone here has a small crush."
"Oh shut up Reese..."
"Your love is a gentle as a dove my friend."
"Even for your damn size Doombringer. You lovesick idiot.
"You guys are never going to let go if this, no?"
"Not in a million years."
Doom buries his face in his hand while looking pretty flustered. The guy was the definition of a gentle giant when it came to Clockwork. Eventually we made our way into the meeting room, we forced Doombringer to sit next to Clockwork just to see some small drama and conversation between the two. The rest of the admins begin to arrive in a minute or two, and eventually Builderman comes in. He sits in the front chair and signals everyone else who's standing to get a chair or sit down.
"As you all know today is the 3 year mark of Telamon's disappearance. The heights is starting to bug out because of his absence and the sun in Robloxia is starting to falter a bit, because as you all know, Telamon was the one who controlled the sun. We suspect 1x1x1x1 has something to do with this, but me and 2x2 are unsure..."
A tense silence fills the room. We all know that Builderman missed Telamon deeply, those two were basically two peas in a pod. Brighteyes raises her hand and Builderman allows her to speak what was on her mind.
"Go ahead Mrs. Brighteyes..."
"I could try to take control of the sun. I mean I am Telamon's partner. I could-"
"I don't think it's a good idea, Brighteyes."
Sorcus interjects, he looks at Brighteyes. Everyone knew that she loved Telamon, it was obvious. And just as the two had gotten together, Telemon had vanished.
"Sorcus is right Brighteyes, you're already in charge of the moon, controlling them both would be a hard deed to do alone."
"Isn't Dusekkar controlling the sun a bit now?" (said by Doom)
"Yes but Dusekkar's magic can only do so much."
Everyone looks at me with eyes of gratitude and relief, for now.
"Aside from this, I have good news."
Everyone's ears perks up, surprise and excitement fills the room, replacing the previous tension completely. It was rare nowadays to get good news and Builderman seemed more relieved.
"I would like to announce we have a new admin joining us. Please be nice to him when he arrives tomorrow. I have not seen him yet but his application was amazing."
Everyone gasps in surprise. A new admin huh? I was curious on who this admin was and how they acted. Dued1 speaks up.
"Do we have a name for this admin?"
"I believe his paper said Shedletsky."
"That's an interesting name..."
"Indeed it is Tarabyte. As I said, I expect all of you to treat this admin with kindness and respect, don't disappoint me."
The meeting ends there, and everyone walks off to do their usual things, I couldn't help but wonder what this admin was going to be like. Would he be a decent person or an absolute bitch? I hope it was the first option...
I head home, just wanting some decent rest, or so I thought. I can't believe I forgot about those important paperwork's! Damn it... Have to do those first before I get confronted by Builderman. I open my door to see my cats trying to eat the goldfish in the living room. My cats are named Solar and Lunar, the fish is Goldy. Such lovely names am I right? I sit down in a chair and start to complete paperwork into the night...
