Dark Knight, Gayass Loser

Summary:

Ninth of September: "3 years of night have turned me into a nocturnal animal, a silent predator hunting the dregs of Gotham. I am vengeance. I am the night.

But he makes me feel like that's not all I am, all I could be. Alfred, Selena, all the love they've given me, and yet it's a reporter from Metropolis that breaks my walls down like no-one else has.

I love Clark Kent."

Bruce Wayne is fully aware that he has become something barely recognisable as human. "Bruce Wayne" is just a mask, a disguise that allows him to enact vengeance on the criminals of the city of Gotham. Some days, he wakes up and barely recognises himself in the mirror.

It's not all bad though. More often than not, he has the wonderful and kind-hearted Clark Kent to come home to, a reporter from Metropolis. Clark is one of the only things that makes Bruce feel human.

But there are things Bruce doesn't know about Clark. The world's greatest detective has no idea that Clark Kent is one of the most powerful beings on the face of the Earth.

And Batman really can't stand Superman.
