HE'S TICKLISH?!?

Summary:

Suryong finds out Su is ticklish. Chaos ensues.

Notes:

Inspired by a short bit that was said on the discord server a long time ago. The bloodcult one, not the novel translation one.

English is not my first language and I did not not edit very carefully so there might be a few errors in grammar or spelling. Don't be afraid to notify me if you find any!

Work Text:

Suryong's day had started normally. He tortured taught his students, went to work, met up with grandpa and taught some more students.

Then lunch rolled around. It honestly wasn't too surprising that Namgoong Su wasn't there, he was probably skipping lunch again…

Which is why he took it upon himself to drag the workaholic to the cafeteria and force him to take a break. He ignored the nagging voice of the Azure Dragon Sword calling him a hypocrite.

The sigh Su let out when he entered his office was expected and appreciated. It did not by any means stop him.

“Good morning! Oh no, it's not. Did you know that? It's lunch time, why are you still working?”

Su again let out a big sigh. “Why must you insist on doing this? You forfeit lunch too.”

“Not nearly as much as you.” He walked around the desk to get a look at what Su was skipping lunch for. It was as unimportant as he thought it would be. “Come on, one hour won't kill you?”

Su frowned at that. “It will ruin my schedule.”

“Then you should have planned better.”

Su stared ahead for a moment. As if contemplating if he could kick Suryong out by force. He must have figured he couldn't because he instead opted to just ignore him and continue working.

Rude.

And kind of dumb. He knows very well that it is not going to work. He proves this point by covering Su's eyes. Can't work if you can't see.

“Baek Suryong.” The tone he used would have frightened the students but it only made Suryong snicker. He didn't butch when Su tried to forcibly remove his hands. “You realize that if I refuse to go you won't get to eat either.”

It was a logical argument, sadly his opponent was Baek Suryong. “I don't mind pestering you for an hour.” Both of them knew he would. Then Suryong continued with the words that would set off chaos. “We'll get to see if you're ticklish or not.”

He had said it as a joke. There was no way the stone faced Namgoong Su would be ticklish. There was no way.

The way Su tensed slightly told a different story. Suryong's delighted gasp sent shivers down Su's spine.

The hands covering his eyes moved away and Su didn't need to see to know where they were going.

Absolutely not. He would not suffer that humiliation.

He was out of his chair before Suryong could actually test it. “Let's go to lunch.” The glint in Suryong's eye told him they would not be going to lunch.

Suryong took a step forward, Su took a step back. Suryong's smirk widened slightly and Su darted out the door with Suryong close behind him.

Several students had to jump out of the way as the two passed. One desperately fleeing, the other chasing with a wicked grin.

Suryong was technically faster than Su but that doesn't mean Su will let himself be caught easily. It might have helped that Suryong had rubbed off on him more than he had realized and he was now not afraid of using dirty tactics. Especially against this opponent.

The effect of it was that it drew a lot of attention. Several were whispering that the tension between them must have snapped and a fight had finally broken out.

Not everyone thought this was the case, that doesn't mean they had any idea what was happening.

Noh Goongsang looked on in silent confusion. He had no clue what was happening but was very interested in finding out. So he followed behind the couple. He was not surprised he wasn't the only one to do so. Suryong's close friends were also following behind. Just as interested as him in finding out what had Suryong chasing Su around the entire academy.

Mae Geuklyom was also following behind but that was mostly because those two were leaving more chaos in their wake than he thought was possible. But the chaos wasn't what surprised him, it was that Suryong wasn't the one directly causing it.

He had to take a moment to process it when he saw Su pushing over a few crates with rice in an attempt to slow down his pursuer. It didn't work of course. It had instead slowed himself down enough that Suryong got dangerously close.

He was really close now and Su knew it. He was by now resigned that he couldn't shake Suryong off his tail and would eventually be caught. He knew that because at some point Suryong had started herding him towards a deserted part of the academy. Meaning that Suryong hadn't caught him yet on purpose.

His attempts at slowing Suryong down had become increasingly desperate but hadn't worked in the slightest. He knew he would be caught, he just hadn't expected Suryong to tackle him so forcefully.

He hit the ground hard. Still he tried to scramble away but Suryong dragged him right back and caged him in. He turned around to face Suryong.

He could feel Suryong move his knees closer to lock his hips in place. He looked up warily. The mischief on his face was unmistakable.

He tensed as Suryong’s hands inevitably moved towards his sides. He had by now accepted that Suryong would be getting what he wanted so instead of trying to avoid it any longer he opted for saving his dignity and covered his mouth to muffle any sound.

The moment Suryong’s fingers hit his side and started moving he kicked out instinctively. His body moved vigorously but he stubbornly refused to make a sound. He was well aware of the people who had been following behind and was not tempted to let them know what was actually happening.

Said people had caught up and were looking on in confusion from a distance. No one knew what in the world was happening. The few that had followed had met up and were now spying on the two from a rooftop.

They were left wondering until Yeonho let out a delighted gasp of realization. The glee on his face revealed exactly nothing. Then his face shifted to mischief.

Yeonho had been looking on in a similar state to the rest. Silently trying to figure out what was happening. Then an absurd thought came to him. It was so ridiculous that he had almost discarded it immediately. Except he had spent enough time around Suryong to always give even the most absurd thoughts at least a chance.

The moment he started thinking about it the situation became crystal clear. Suryong was tickling Su.

Su was ticklish.

It took a moment for him to process it. This was amazing.

Then his eyes fell to the hands covering Su's mouth. Now that won't do.

He ignored the looks of confusion he got from his friends and rushed forward. Suryong didn't acknowledge his presence, simply continued his onslaught.

His knees hit the dirt and he reached for Su's wrists. The utter look of betrayal that Su sent him didn't stop him in the slightest.

He pinned them above his head as he listened to the laughter that Su now couldn't stop anymore. Su tries to tell them to stop between giggles but it's useless. Neither of the two holding him down have any intention of letting go any time soon.

The ones still standing on the rooftop had their jaws hanging open in bafflement. This was so far out of the realm of possibility their brains refused to process it.

One by one they were lifted from their trans and approached cautiously. Still unsure if this was an illusion or not.

Su does not appreciate the audience he is getting to his torture. Not that he could do anything about it. Even if he could normally push at least one of the two off with relative ease, being tickled doesn't mean having control of your body. Even if he wiggles vigorously. He can't seem to escape.

After a while of suffering through the most humiliating experience in his life. It was the headmaster that turned out to be his saving grace.

“Break is almost over. Both of you have classes in a few minutes.”

Suryong looked disappointed but stopped and sat back, letting Su breath again for the first time in what felt like hours. When Yeonho let him go too he immediately sat up to smack Suryong over the head. Suryong didn't try to dodge it.

Mostly because he had self preservation and Su couldn't really do much more. He still had him trapped between his legs as he pressed down hard enough on Su's legs that he couldn't get up.

Su glared at him as if to burn him alive with his gaze alone. Suryong gazed right back, as if daring him.

Their moment was interrupted by the principal who thought it helpful to comment. “So, you're ticklish.” It did relieve the tension a bit so it worked.

Nevertheless Su let out a heavy sigh. “No.” he then turned back to Suryong. “Let me up.”

Suryong could have denied him that and ensured that Su wouldn't attack him until the bell rang. But he knew he didn't need to.

They didn't have much time left and he was certain Su cared more about making sure he looked presentable in front of the students than getting his revenge.

That doesn't mean he thought he would be getting away with it. Su shot him a look that screamed ‘this isn't over’ before walking away.

Nope definitely not getting away with it.

When Su was far enough away Yeonho turned to him with a smirk on his face that he probably mirrored. Yeonho spoke the words they were all thinking. “I can't believe he's ticklish.”

Then he turned to Suryong. “He's going to kill you.”

“Yep. You too. ”

“Yeah…” It was a very simple fact that they wouldn't be getting away with it.

“You should sleep with one eye open.” Suryong advised him before also leaving for his classes. A faint smile on his lips.

He liked hearing Su laugh. Even if it was a little forced he knew he liked the sound of it.

The next day several people claim to have witnessed a blue blur being chased by lightning.

I love writing short light hearted fics like this or the 'comforting the wife' one. Sadly I have very little inspiration at the moment. If you guys have any let me know and maybe I'll do something with it.
