Chapter Text
“Wow, it looks so natural on you! No way this can be your first time wearing one.” Marisa tugged on the leash, bringing you closer to those gleeful eyes and that cocky grin that seemed to pierce into your mind and chide you for being excited by this precarious situation.
But you could only see that damned expression for a second before you smashed into the side of her bed, sending you backwards with a jerk and a short cry of pain. Your hand immediately flew to caress the poor, tender patch of your forehead, and you glared at the witch as you comforted yourself, your eyes stinging.
“Whoops! I’ve never had a pet before, sorry.” She looked genuinely surprised at the impact, flashing an apologetic grin.
“…But hey, don’t go making puppy eyes at me!” Marisa laughed at her own dumb joke, and you could only stare at her in horror.
After the incident of the week had been solved, with its Youkai mastermind (you) having been properly spanked in a danmaku duel, Marisa went on about how she never got to solve incidents, and proclaimed that she’d have some actual fun with you, since she like, has dibs on you, or something— you were too tired and hurt to care at the time, just wanting to get your slap on the wrist and left to lick your wounds.
This, though, was not a slap on the wrist, instead being a horror show where you’re kept as a pet inside this stupidly pretty— I mean, pissy witches house, which is located god knows where, so nobody’s coming to help, and she’s actually treating you like a dog, and she’s acting like this is entirely normal, and you can’t help but shiver in anticipation at the thought of her dastardly and doubtlessly raunchy plans.
Marisa finally stopped laughing, opening her eyes and gently tugging you forward into an open hand. Her palm was softer than sand, and her black nails shone in the dim candlelight of her bedroom. Your heart skipped a beat as she lightly gripped your cheek and rubbed.
She hummed. “Who’s a good Youkai? Who’s a good little Youkai that got whooped in a dannaku duel by the greatest magician ever?”
Your eyes, which had previously been deeply ensnared with Marisa’s hand, shot to hers. “I did not get WHOOPED, I—“
She interrupted with a giggle, pulling her hand back, but quickly replacing the contact by wrapping her legs around your back and pushing you flush against the bed, staring down at you with that same damned—… urgh, it made your blood boil, and your chest tighten! With anger!
“I don’t recall dogs being able to speak.” She held the leash high, but her expression made it hard to believe she was intentionally trying to asphyxiate you. This infuriating moron.
“I thought you just called me a Youkai?” You choked out.
“Are there not Youkai dogs?” The asphyxiation was getting cruel. You had to sit up on your knees to get air, your body craned forward in an awkward half-sitting, half-standing position. Unfortunately, you now had a closer view of Marisa’s smug ass face.
“Would they not be able to speak normally??” You retorted after ungracefully sputtering for air.
She scoffed. “…Know what, you’re right. I’ll treat you more like a dog, now. Sound good, miss doggy? Woof?”
You opened your mouth, but stopped yourself from woofing anything.
Marisa removed her legs from your back, lowering the leash as she scooched forward. You quickly sighed in relief, relaxing your sore knees— but she tugged you back in before your tush could even graze the ground, stealing a surprised yelp from your lips.
“Aw, c’mon! Woof! Woof! Awoo! Don’t you know what a dog sounds like?” She whined.
Your skin was starting to go crimson with heat. And, for some reason, keeping your eyes on Marisa’s face seemed to make the shame and arousal worse.
So, you looked away, keeping an abashed expression on your face.
The witch sighed, looking disappointed. “Daghh, so you’re REALLY not into it, huh? Whatever, I’ll just go to Alice’s—“
“ARF! ARF ARF! ARF ARF!”
“AWWWW WHO'S A GOOD GIRL?!” Marisa praised you while patting you on the head. Me, you thought to yourself, and you felt happy.
“‘Cept you’re not, really… that was a bad, BAD incident. Bad dogs have to be disciplined, yeah?”
Oh, you thought. You shrank back in place as you looked away, seeing Marisa move out of the corner of your eye, scared of her next move, in all honesty. Spanking, perhaps? Ohohohohehehe—
“There ya go!” Marisa was standing up, and seemingly has been for a while. Your leash pooled on the ground, gone slack without an owner.
You were too preoccupied with your salacious fantasies to notice the tall stacks of leathery books placed on the floor.
“Whew!” Marisa dusted off her hands with a few claps, already moving to leave the bedroom.
You gawked at her, seeing her grab her broom as she disappeared from view, and hearing the creak of the front door.
“Drop those off at the Scarlet Devil Mansion by tonight, would ya? Front gate should be fine— but Patche likes it when they’re directly dropped off to here. And hey, remember—“
A click. Her voice became muffled and barely audible. “—only good dogs get treats!~”
…Silence for some beats, until you dashed to the front door and stared out the window. Marisa was now a speck in the afternoon sky.
Unbelievable.
You were NOT happy with being left hanging, but the prospect of a reward was still enticing. Very much so.
Wait, what if you went outside and did the task without taking your leash off? Marisa would probably LOVE that! And
You suddenly remembered that you had a job to do.
But delivering books sounded so boring.
Grumbling, you sauntered back to Marisa’s bedroom, staring at the different towers of books she wanted you to deliver, or return, or whatever. You threw all the books onto Marisa’s bed, and wrapped them in her covers, forming a makeshift sack, and throwing it over your shoulder.
Uh… Scarlet Devil Mansion… you’ve definitely heard of it before. The vampire dwelling. Oh wait! it’s near a lake, right? And it should be bright red! How bad could locating it be?
Mmmmm… You hummed to yourself thoughtfully. It still sounded pretty bad. You considered just tossing the books into a river or a bush or something.
Mm-mm! I’m a good dog! You grinned to yourself, then giggled.
You couldn’t WAIT for what’s in store for you tonight.
