Bang…
Bang…
Bang…
Bang...
Glinda jolted awake to a rhythmic thumping that echoed through the silence of the dorm room, each thud heavier than the last. The unsettling sound sliced through the night like a sword. With cautious curiosity, Glinda looked over her shoulder from her bed to investigate where the noise was coming from. The room was thick with darkness, moonlight casting ghostly beams through the windows like glowing silk. The blonde girl squinted through her sleepy lashes, hazily scanning the room until she saw it: the balcony door was - open? It was unlocked and gently swinging back-and-forth, swishing against its hinges. The gust of wind outside blew the door open again and again.
Glinda’s skin prickled, but her body was frozen, as if the night itself had its fingers wrapped around her. She could smell the dampness of the air seeping in, the weather curling over her like a breath on the back of her neck.
It shouldn’t be open.
Not since the glass shattered long ago. Not since she’d made sure it stayed locked earlier that evening.
Glinda’s brows furrowed as she rolled over and rose from the bed, the sheets tangling at her ankles. The old wood creaked under the whispering weight of her bare, an intrusion in the dead silence. She held her arms around herself, bracing against the sudden chilly breeze that seemed to invade the room. Her fingers grazed the latch of the door, preparing to secure it once more when - there - she saw it.
A figure.
At the edge of the balcony, a shadow stood almost too still to be real, shrouded in darkness. Someone in black, their back turned to her, as if they were waiting. Glinda’s breath caught in her throat, a thread of panic winding its way through her chest. She blinked hard, trying to focus, but it was as though her eyes didn’t want to cooperate with her mind.
The silhouette shifted slightly, and she could make out the faintest details then: the tight black strands of hair pulled back into a loose braid, an ash-colored froat that fluttered in the wind with phantom grace, green-tinted legs, standing barefoot on the stone, the toes barely skimming the edge of the balcony.
It was Elphaba.
Glinda’s chest deflated in relief at the familiar sight of her emerald-kissed girlfriend. Her mind quickly assigned a comfortable identity to the mysterious figure, but the crisp in the air made her shiver as she stepped out from the comfort of their room. Her feet padded against the cold stone, her body moving forward with cautious steps. But as she neared Elphaba, her stomach twisted, and her steps faltered.
Something wasn’t right.
Elphaba stood at the edge of the balcony, her body poised just past the safety of the railing. She was still facing away from Glinda, palms gripping the rail, arms stretched taut behind her like a marionette suspended in midair. Her head tilted upward, staring at the stars with an intensity that made the wind around them skid to a stop.
Glinda’s heart skipped. She moved closer, trying to steady her breath, but the closer she got, the more it unsettled her.
At a closer look, Elphaba was leaning forward, her body teetering on the edge, as if she was trying to peer over the precipice below. Nothing but the cobblestone of the entrance dock of Shiz and the sculpted pillars were so far below, barely visible in the shadows.
“Elphie?” Glinda’s voice was coarse, tight like the knot twisting in her stomach. The name barely left her lips, but it felt like a scream inside her.
But Elphaba didn’t respond. Her body hovered, swaying back toward the railing for a brief moment, as if to soothe her roommate’s concern without ever acknowledging it.
Glinda’s pulse pounded louder in her ears. She reached out, the skin on her fingertips tingling with the urge to touch, to pull her girlfriend back before it was too late. The vigorous thud of her own heartbeat felt like it might shove Elphaba over the edge if it grew any louder.
Glinda crept behind her, close enough to feel the energy radiating from Elphaba’s body. Her hand inched forward, trembling, before she extended it further, her fingers twitched as her fingertips brushed Elphaba’s wrist.
Suddenly, Elphaba swayed.
One of her hands released the railing, her body leaning forward like it was dangled by a string. Her right leg shot out, graceful yet jarring, as she spun in a 180-degree twist. The movement was jester-like, uncharacteristic - a twisted ballet of something far too fluid, too unnatural. Glinda choked on a gasp as Elphaba’s body hung momentarily over the edge, the wind suddenly whipping past them with a sickening intensity.
Glinda’s hand shot out, desperate, her fingers clutching the neckline of her pajama shirt as she yelped in fear. Her other hand tightened around Elphaba’s wrist more securely, to pull her back to safety.
As Elphaba’s body swung toward her pretty princess, her hand darted upward, fingers cupping Glinda’s cheek with surprising tenderness, their gazes locking. The warmth of Elphaba’s touch was a brief reprieve in the chaos.
But when she turned completely, Glinda’s heart dropped straight into her stomach.
Elphaba’s eyes were black.
Pitch black. Not a single pinch of color. Two voids, hollow and endless, stared down at Glinda, their depth consuming her. No twinkle. No light. Just an oppressive darkness that made her skin crawl and her breath stall in her throat. The emptiness of Elphaba’s gaze sent an icy zing straight down Glinda’s spine.
Just as Glinda instinctively recoiled, Elphaba’s grip tightened. Her fingers twisted into Glinda’s golden curls, pulling her closer with unnerving strength.
“They’re magnificent, aren’t they? ” Elphaba’s voice was smooth and almost consoling, a stark contrast to the abyss of her eyes.
“What is...?” Glinda asked, her voice barely above a whisper, fear thickening each word. She didn’t want to know the answer.
“The stars, my sweet,” Elphaba purred, tilting her head back toward the open universe above. Her voice had an unnatural drawl, slow and deliberate. Glinda’s gaze followed, reluctant but transfixed.
In a burst of energy fit for a dying star, the night sky shuddered into life. The Milky Way flared with vibrant, pulsating colors - swaths of pinks, purples, and muted golds. The belt of the galaxy gleamed with a faint light like a midnight sunset. The visual was overwhelmingly fantastical, colors so bold, so vivid, so worthy of a new name that they bent the very fabric of reality. It made Glinda’s chest tighten, and her heart skipped a beat as she struggled to breathe, caught between awe and extreme discomfort.
She had to tear her eyes away from the hypnotic sight of the otherworldly glow.
Elphaba lowered her head casually to stare back into her girlfriend’s eyes lovingly. Except something was off - so off.
“OHH!!” Glinda gasped as her eyes met Elphaba’s again.
An uneasy pull twisted in Glinda’s stomach as Elphaba’s eyes began to droop. Her cheeks became noticeably heavy like they were being dragged by some unseen force, far too heavy for her delicate face. The bottom of her eye lids stretched deep, the weight of something unbearable tugged at her, dragging her features lower with an unnatural strength.
Her pupils dissolved into liquid darkness, seeping out from her eye sockets like black tar, dripping slow and thick, trailing down her cheeks like runny, charred eggs left to sizzle on the surface of a pan.
Glinda wanted to scream, wanted to cry, wanted to do anything to escape the nightmare that was unfolding before her. The image of her distorted lover clamped around her chest, squeezing the breath from her lungs. All her emotions clashed together, but the overwhelming sense of danger was the loudest, the most prominent.
“They are almost as perfect as you arrreeeeeee”
Elphaba’s voice contorted into a low, guttural roar that crawled out from her throat like a dying animal struggling to breathe. The last word lingered, dragging out so unnaturally, like the final note of a broken soundtrack playing in reverse. But before Glinda could process it, the sound snapped off like some invisible force that severed the thread, leaving only an eerie silence.
The shift was immediate. Elphaba’s face slackened, her body started to fall backward, as though gravity had suddenly decided to betray her.
Glinda’s heart froze. Her eyes went wide as she felt the iron grip of Elphaba’s hand around her neck, tightening, dragging her forward against her will. Glinda’s hands shot out defensively, reaching for Elphaba’s, desperate to stop her from toppling, but it was futile. The pull was too strong. It was like a magnet, dragging them both down into the nothingness below.
As their bodies continued to tilt, Elphaba’s eyes started to drool down her cheeks in slow, grotesque rivulets, black streaks trailing to her chin, spilling down her neck in disgusting streams. Glinda’s own body slammed against the stone railing, her hands flailing wildly as she tried to hold on, to brace herself. The descent was relentless, the momentum unstoppable, the kinetic energy inevitable.
And then.
She fell.
Smooth as silk, her body spilled over the edge of the railing. With the blink of an eye, Elphaba disappeared, and the world flipped upside down as Glinda found herself hurtling toward the cobblestone below, the ground pulling her faster and faster. The stars above - the same stars that had once been so mesmerizing - now shimmered with an eerie, emerald hue, darkening, shifting like some twisted version of the northern lights, vibrating erratically, casting shadows on everything around her.
Her heart thudded painfully in her chest as she plummeted, the sensation of falling stretching on for eternity. The giant ocean of stars opened up, the earth cracking below her, splitting apart in jagged lines, the ground threatening to swallow her entirely.
Glinda’s throat burned. She tried to scream, to call out for help, but no sound came. Her mouth moved, but the silence was suffocating. Her vocal cords felt strained, as if she’d been screaming for days but she fell in an unsettling mute.
Her eyes locked onto the stars above, the tremendous, horrible stars, their jade glow now dark and oppressive. The world blurred into a dizzying spin, and she felt as though she was spiraling down deeper and deeper until-

“ELPHIE!!!!”
Glinda’s scream ripped through the silence of the night, her body jerked upright in her bed. Her head spun wildly, the room blurring as she scrambled to ground herself. Her chest was heaving, her neck sweaty, her muscles trembling. It took a moment for her to process the reality around her. Her frantic gaze shot across the room, and she found- nothing.
She was alone.
Her heart hammered in her chest as she stumbled out of bed, legs shaky beneath her. She bolted for the balcony door, her fingers fumbling to unlock it, desperation fueling her every movement. She swung the door open with a force that made the hinges groan, stepping out into the breezy night air. She peered recklessly into the moon-bathed evening, breath catching in her throat.
The balcony was empty.
No Elphaba. No shadowy figure. Just the freckled stars scattered across the sky, their light eerily soft in the quiet darkness.
The smallest chatter of voices echoed from the entrance dock below and soft footsteps sounded from students sneaking off to the Ozdust. Or sneaking back, who could tell at that hour? The mundane sound of life continuing felt like a mockery against the lingering terror in her veins.
With a trembling hand, Glinda reached for the railing, gripping it with a fierce, almost painful strength. Her feet shuffled forward cautiously as she tipped her head over the ledge. She knew she wouldn’t find anything unusual down below, but she needed to make sure. She needed to know that Elphaba’s body wasn’t splattered down there.
The gentle breeze swept past her, making the hairs on her neck stand up, but her focus remained fixated on the space below her. She edged her eyes the last few inches over the railing only to see… nothing again.
She blinked, disoriented, as if she couldn’t trust her own eyes.
Nothing had happened.
But she couldn't shake the feeling that something had.
Glinda exhaled shakily, relief flooding through her body, though it did little to calm the rattling that still echoed in her bones. Her fingers gripped the cold stone of the railing as she hung her head, flexing her fingers for invisible balance.
The fatigue from the fear consumed her body, beckoning her back to the warmth of her bed, and as the sleepiness overcame her once again, Glinda spun on her heels. She stepped back inside, the door shutting behind her with a quiet click. She locked it with a mechanical motion, almost numb from the experience.
Her fingers lingered on the cracked glass of the door, the memory of the break still vivid in her mind: Elphaba - her sweet Elphie.
Glinda’s gaze drifted over to her girlfriend’s tidy bed. It hadn’t even been 24 hours since Elphaba left for her special field trip, an opportunity to study the intricacies of Logic magic under a professor who wasn’t Madame Morrible (thank Oz). With her concentration in psychology, Elphaba was learning how to harness her magic to spurt temporary mushrooms on a being’s nerve endings, stimulating mental clarity and intellect. Glinda had heard about it from Elphaba, but right then, all of that seemed distant and intangible, like something out of a dream itself.
It hurt more than Glinda was willing to admit. They had barely spent a moment apart since they started dating, and now her prolonged absence stung in a way Glinda couldn’t shake.
Her eyes glazed over Elphaba’s perfectly tucked bed until, out of the corner of her eye, she noticed something - a tiny jar sat atop Elphaba’s pillow, catching the moonlight with a small, strange glint.
After a moment of consideration, she picked up the little vial, its violet liquid sparkling in the dim light. Her fingers brushed the note attached to the neck of the bottle, and she unrolled it carefully, it read:
My Sweet,
Use this Lucidification for your nightmares. Or however you please...
Forever yours, in light and shadow
♡ E
Glinda’s mind flickered back to the conversation they had before Elphaba left. She remembered Elphaba’s gentle voice, telling her that the potion was meant primarily for nightmares, but it could also be used when Glinda missed her. And, of course, Elphaba knew exactly how much she’d miss her.
Elphaba had placed the vial on her own bed for a reason. She knew Glinda. Knew she would miss her enough to want to curl up in her bed, just for the relief of it, to feel the warmth amid her absence. Elphaba was always thoughtful like that. She was the one who kept track of all of Glinda’s little quirks, who made sure to care for them without even being asked.
The potion was a blend of passionflower, melatonin, and a twinkle of Elphaba’s mindful magic - a piece of herself, infused with the power to let Glinda control her dreams however she desired. She had never used it before, but with Elphaba gone, she was desperate for any connection to her girlfriend, desperate for the comfort of her presence, even if it was just in the realm of dreams.
Sleep had always been difficult for Glinda despite all the beauty slumber promises she pretended to enjoy, it had never come easy. It started with sleepwalking, those restless nights where she wandered in search of solace, and Elphaba was always there to guide her back to her own bed. There were nights when Glinda would stand frozen at the edge of Elphaba’s bed like an apparition. But Elphaba never once hesitated. She would gently direct her to lay down beside her, pulling Glinda into her arms, holding her until the sleepwalking subsided.
It had never been bad enough for Glinda to walk out of the room - never serious enough for her to stumble onto the balcony - but for extra protection, Elphaba had started locking the balcony doors. She always thought ahead, always protective.
So, when the rare night terrors started making a cracking appearance, Elphaba had been quick to respond. She had created the Lucidification potion for her girlfriend. For nights when Glinda was vulnerable, lost in her own mind, or aching for her presence.
The special concoction was a safeguard, allowing for total control over the hippocampus while being completely immersed in deep REM cycle. Glinda was dealing with a double whammy - a nightmare and missing her whole heart that was Elphaba – so it was the perfect night to consume the sparkly beverage.
Glinda walked to her own bed with the bottle in hand. She got back under the covers, reclined, and lifted the bottle, twisting it towards the moonlight to watch the twilight liquid shimmer. It glistened like stars trapped inside the glass belly, its soft glow almost hypnotizing. She took a deep breath and popped the cork out.
She held the bottle to her lips and let the first couple of drops fall on her tongue. The liquid dripped smooth like tea but became more texturized in her mouth - a peculiar glue-like thickness that tingled as it spread, crawling down her throat when she swallowed it. She paused for a brief moment, then put the cork back in and placed the bottle on the nightstand. She let her eyes wander randomly around the room, analyzing her bodily reaction. She wasn’t sure when exactly she was going to fall under its spell, blur the lines between dreams and reality, but she could sense it coming.
Elphaba had crafted it with such care, as only a poignant witch such as herself could, and she wouldn't leave her love waiting for too long after taking it. Yes, it needed to be digested first, but the way it had flowed so effortlessly down her throat like water, Glinda figured it would hit her in a timely mann-
Pow!
The atmosphere was heavy, pitch black. Glinda must’ve passed out, unsure of whether the potion had even worked, but she couldn’t shake the sensation of drifting. Then, like a slow fade-in from a film, the dorm room began to materialize around her. Everything was just as it had been: quiet, soft, and serene.
Her gaze shifted instinctively to Elphaba’s bed. There, beneath the covers, was a perfectly sized, Elphaba-shaped lump.
Glinda’s breathing stopped. Her eyes widened as she noticed the slight rise and fall of the sheets blanketing the subtle rhythm of her girlfriend’s breathing.
Without thinking, Glinda found herself rising from her bed, her feet moving as if guided by some invisible force. She crept closer to the sleeping girl, the soft creak of the floor beneath her was the only sound in the stillness.
But then, she froze.
Elphaba’s back was to her, and the sight of it triggered the recent memory of the last time she’d seen Elphaba like that. A chill spread across her skin, goosebumps rising, until a soft rustle broke the silence.
As if she heard the hesitation, Elphaba slowly turned, her body twisting beneath the covers, her eyes still hidden. At the same moment, the room illuminated with a soft, cozy glow. Glinda’s pink lamp flickered on, though she hadn’t touched it. The light spread like a sunrise, coloring the entire room in a soothing pink hue, a mood lighting that felt like home.
Elphaba twisted fully, and in that moment, Glinda caught a familiar glimpse of those gorgeous emerald eyes - the ones she knew better than her own. A soft smile spread across Elphaba’s face, as warm and smooth as butter on fresh bread. Glinda’s heart soared seeing the perfect face of her girlfriend, as clear as day.
“Elphie?” Glinda whispered, her voice fragile with the mix of confusion and wonder.
“Fancy meeting you Here, stranger.” Elphaba’s voice wrapped around Glinda’s heart like a tender hug. It was exactly like her - exactly like the voice that had always been there, the voice she could trust, the one she had missed.
A wave of overwhelming joy washed over Glinda as the reality of the potion’s success hit her. Her heart fluttered, and before she could stop herself, she squealed in delight and pounced on top of Elphaba, trapping her beneath the covers. The sound of Elphaba’s rumbling giggle filled the air, filling Glinda’s chest with warmth as she leaned in closer to her girlfriend’s face.
But before getting too close, she paused, her gaze softening as she studied Elphaba.
“What are you doing?” Elphaba asked, that familiar twinge in her voice that made Glinda’s heart skip.
Glinda slowly raised her hand, hovering just above Elphaba’s cheek before gently cupping it, her fingers tracing the contours of her face as if trying to make sure she wasn’t dreaming. Or that she was. Or that what she was seeing was true.
“Is it really you?” Glinda whispered, her voice laced with disbelief and wonder.
Elphaba’s face softened, the corners of her mouth curling into a gentle smile.
“Yes… and no.”
Glinda’s brows furrowed in confusion, and she leaned in closer, trying to make sense of it.
“What do you mean?” Glinda asked, her voice cautious as she trailed her fingertips over the sharp, comforting features of her girlfriend’s face.
Elphaba grabbed her wrist and kissed the gentle skin there. Her lips felt so soft and warm, and real.
“I guess I should tell you how this works,” Elphaba explained, stirring slightly to sit up. Glinda mirrored her movements, positioning herself crisscross-applesauce in front of her girlfriend as though they were about to dive into some serious story time. Elphaba took her hand in hers, looking like two girls at a sleepover.
“This is your first time drinking the potion?” Elphaba asked, her tone almost teasing.
“Yes,” Glinda nodded eagerly, a little jittery with anticipation, her eyes wide with curiosity.
“Okay…” Elphaba began, her voice calm and steady, “You have total control right now. Control of yourself, your environment, and… of me-”
Glinda’s gasp cut through the air, eyes widened in surprise.
“You?” she asked, her voice almost too surprised to be believed.
Elphaba let out a soft giggle, her eyes twinkling mischievously.
“Yes, I know, hard to believe,” she winked, her teasing smile never leaving her face.
Glinda paused for a moment, her mind racing with the possibilities.
“Am I controlling you right now?” Glinda asked.
Elphaba squeezed her hand, the pressure gentle but supportive.
“Yes, for the most part. Think of it like steering a ship,” Elphaba explained, her thumb gently rubbing Glinda’s knuckles, “You know the direction you want to go in, and your mind takes care of the rest. The potion clings to your brainwaves and plays it out the way you imagine it. Since you were a little anxious at first, you had me explain it all to you.”
Glinda’s gaze softened, her mind slowly processing everything. When their eyes met, Glinda’s face relaxed, a smile curling on her lips.
“Oh, my Elphie. You’re so pretty when you’re this smartifical!”
Elphaba snorted in playful insult.
“I’m always this smartifical,” she defended.
“Exactly!” Glinda swooned, pressing a hand to her chest in mock awe. “That’s why I oh so love you.”
Elphaba rolled her eyes and straightened her back, a quiet smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
“Okay, let’s try one,” she said, her voice soft but with an air of excitement.
“Huh?” Glinda tilted her head, the golden curls tilting with her movement, her expression utterly endearing, like a curious puppy.
“Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and imagine a place that makes you happy.”
“Okay…” Glinda drawled, the hint of uncertainty still lingering in her voice. She tightened her grip around Elphaba’s hands, the sensation of her smooth skin grounding her. For a moment, Glinda just held on, feeling the solid, reassuring presence of Elphaba. Then, with a small sigh, she closed her eyes, hesitancy overtaking her, unsure of what might unfold. But once her eyelids fluttered shut, a deep sense of wonder stirred inside her, as though the world around her was waiting for her to create it. It felt strange, like she was dreaming, but she also felt so present - so awake - in the way her mind began to craft something vivid, alive, unlimited.
With each breath, the silence stretched between them, peaceful and unrushed, Elphaba's quiet attention acted as a comforting embrace. After a few moments of concentration, Glinda felt the darkness behind her closed eyelids begin to shift, becoming warmer, brighter. A soft, golden hue began to grow, faint at first, but soon it enveloped her completely. Her skin tingled with the warmth of something bright, a flowery scent filled the air, entering her lungs.
“Open your eyes,” Elphaba whispered, her voice wrapped in that whimsical, knowing smile, its warmth seeping through her words.
Glinda peeked her eyes open, squinting against the brightness. The world had readjusted and while she still found herself sitting in front of Elphaba on her bed, she discovered that they were surrounded by towering poppies, completely isolated. The field stretched for as far as her eyes could see, a sea of colorful oranges, yellows, and soft pinks that seemed to buzz with vibrancy. The flowers stood tall, reaching the height of the mattress itself and tippytoeing beyond, their petals swaying in the vacationed breeze. Glinda gasped, her breath caught in amazement.
“Sweet Oz!” she exclaimed, her voice a mix of shock and pure wonder.
The poppies reached in every direction, their colors so intense they almost seemed to vibrate, painting the world with a crowd all their own. The sun basked in the sky above, golden and unhurried, like it had no place to be except right there, casting its face over them. Elphaba watched her girlfriend, a smile playing at the edges of her lips as Glinda looked around in every possible direction.
“Now,” Elphaba teased, her voice light and full of that mischievous charm, “think of something scary.”
“What??” Glinda’s tone immediately flicked to one of alarm, and she felt the warmth that had enveloped her earlier betray her. “Why would I-”
“You need to understand how simple it is to control this, even when the dream seems to slip from your grasp,” Elphaba’s voice was low, a whisper that lingered in the stillness of the air. She pressed another kiss to the back of Glinda’s hand, the warmth of her lips oddly gave her unearned confidence in the moment. “Remember that you are always in control... try it now. It’s alright, I’ve got you.”
Glinda’s face drooped then, her mind swirling with the possibilities, uncertainty creeping in. Her thoughts wandered, trying to imagine a place, but the nagging fear that something could go wrong made her hesitate. Still, she pushed forward, her resolve strengthening.
She closed her eyes, her breath shaking slightly. The air grew colder as she exhaled, and in the stillness, she imagined a place of dread, one that felt familiar in a way that made her heart race, pounding in her stomach as it dropped.
The warm, comforting glow that had bathed her closed eyelids turned to an impenetrable blackness, like an old forgotten nostalgia. A cold, damp air replaced the serenity, and the unmistakable smell of dust, old wood, and rotting fabric filled her senses. Goosebumps rose on her arms, not from the uninviting air but from the knowledge of where they had arrived before even opening her eyes.
The reality of it settled in, and the deep sense of wrongness prickled at her skin.
“Okay, you can look,” Elphaba’s voice was impossibly tender.
Glinda hesitated, not wanting to open her eyes. The air felt suffocating, and as she slowly cracked one eye open, the first thing she saw was Elphaba, perfect as ever, her undeniable face, untouched by any of the creeping shadows in the room. They were still sitting on the bed, facing each other, hands clasped together, but the stillness of the moment only made the environment more jarring. She opened the other eye cautiously, her gaze darting across the room, trying to make sense of the adjustment.
The bed they sat on was positioned in the center of a dark, foreboding room - the Tower of the Wizard’s Palace in Emerald City. It was a strange, twisted version of a princess tower, a high-standing prison that loomed above them, its walls rude and unwelcoming. The once-grand space was now nothing more than a crumbling, forgotten relic.
The only light filtering in came from the high windows at the top of a winding staircase, weak and distant, as if reluctant to illuminate the decaying room. Forgotten remnants of the past lay scattered - posters, broken brooms, discarded clothes, oversized props - were thrown about the floor and scattered carelessly across the space. It was a mess, but more than that, it felt like a place that had been abandoned, left to rot in isolation. The air seemed to hum with the ghosts of its former inhabitants. It unnerved Glinda to even turn her head from side to side.
Suddenly, a loud crash echoed through the air, a forceful ramming against the locked door in the corner. Glinda’s heart skipped a beat as the muffled sound of men’s voices ricocheted against the walls, harsh and panicked, their words indistinct but urgent.
Her body stiffened at the noise, the air growing heavier around them. Another slam hit the door, almost violent, reverberating through the room like a clap of wooden thunder, the exit groaning as if it couldn’t hold back much longer.
“What is that?” Glinda asked in a rush. The fear and helplessness flooded in, a cloud of hopelessness settling deep in her chest.
“It’s whatever you want it to be,” Elphaba explained, her voice calm, but the softness of her tone only seemed to deepen the tension of the moment. She was trying to ease Glinda, guide her through the control of her thoughts, but the gentle lilt in her voice felt out of place against the mounting strain that hung thick in the air.
Just as Glinda tried to focus, her thoughts blurring together, the banging on the door became louder, harder, relentless.
BangBangBangBangBangBangBangBang
The force of it rattled the walls around them, and Glinda’s breath caught in her throat. It sounded like the battering ram - if that’s even what it was - was fueled by something inhuman, an impossible speed and force that no mere group of men could muster. Each slam seemed to grow in intensity, faster and more violent, as though it were being wielded by a monstrous hand. The idea of it, the sheer absurdity that something so heavy could slam into the door so rapidly, sent a terrifying chill that crawled down Glinda’s spine. It wasn’t real, but it felt like it was.
"Oh, Elphie, it’s horrendible!" Glinda screamed, the terror bubbling in her chest. Her hands shot up, desperately covering her ears, but even the pressure of her palms couldn’t block out the sound. It was like the noise was inside her skull, pounding against her mind with every hit.
In a flash, Glinda threw herself forward into Elphaba’s arms, her body trembling. Elphaba, as always, accepted her completely, holding her tight. The warmth of Elphaba’s embrace, the steady rhythm of her heartbeat, grounded Glinda, but the dismal noise outside the door refused to stop.
“Think of home!” Elphaba shouted over the thunderous crashing. Her voice, commanding yet filled with urgency, cut through the terror like a lifeline.
Glinda squeezed her eyes shut, taking a shaky breath, desperately focusing on the thought of safety. The instant her eyelids fluttered shut, the banging stopped.
The world flipped as quick as a snap. The unsettling darkness was replaced by the soft, glowing pink light that had accompanied her earlier, flooding her eyelids. It was warm, inviting, and just as the noise disappeared, so too did the suffocating weight of fear. Glinda’s body still trembled, her hands smashed against her ears in reflex, but the sound was gone. Her head tucked into Elphaba’s neck, she let herself be held for a moment, breathing in the comfort of her presence. Elphaba’s long, calming strokes along her back helped her center herself, letting her know she was still here, still with her.
As the last traces of fear melted away, Glinda opened her eyes for the third time.
They were back in their dorm room, the bed exactly where it had been, the familiar quiet surrounding them once more. Glinda's eyes poked around the room sporadically, analyzing every corner with sharp uncertainty. She needed to be sure nothing felt out of place. A small, anxious giggle escaped her lips as she let out a sigh, blinking at the simplicity of it all.
A thought, a switch in focus, and they were back in her sanctuary. Total control meant total control , and the implications of that realization sent a wave of exhilaration through her. The limits of it all were still unknown, and yet, it really had been that easy to transport them back to the environment her mind was dwelling on.
“Better?” Elphaba’s voice rumbled deep from her chest, her words vibrating softly through Glinda as her head remained nestled in the curve of her shoulder. The dread faded into nothingness, replaced by the comforting glow of the mundane.
“Wow... that was a lot.” Glinda murmured shyly, sliding herself into Elphaba’s lap, seeking the intimacy of her presence.
“That was all you, my sweet,” Elphaba replied softly, her fingers brushing the side of Glinda’s flushed cheek, a gentle touch that made Glinda’s heart palpitate deeper.
Glinda’s eyebrows lifted in amazement. Her girlfriend was truly something magical for being able to create a world so real, so immersive. She was mesmerized.
“You can dream about anything you w-”
“I want to dream about you!” Glinda interrupted.
“You are!” Elphaba lightheartedly retorted, “that’s why I’m still here!” A small, affectionate giggle erupted from her lips, her patience with Glinda's innocent confusion was nothing short of endearing.
Glinda made a soft “hmm” sound, her mind clearly racing with a thought. She stayed quiet for a moment, her fingers tracing small patterns on Elphaba’s arm. Elphaba noticed the change in her expression and her quiet contemplation.
“What are you thinking?” Elphaba asked, pushing a stray curl behind her ear.
“Shouldn’t you already know?” Glinda squinted in sarcasm.
“I do... but I want to hear you say it,” Elphaba stated. The words ignited a flutter of butterflies in her chest. Glinda’s pulse quickened as an idea began to form - one that she had kept buried for so long.
Glinda tilted her head slightly, her eyes meeting Elphaba’s, those endless green depths that seemed to pull her in. If she could control this dream, maybe she could summon the courage to finally dust off some thoughts she had since kept to herself. Especially if it meant controlling other “characters” in her midnight fiction.
“I… I’ve been- I’ve been wanting to try something,” Glinda confessed hesitantly.
Elphaba nodded, giving Glinda her full attention. The warmth in her eyes encouraged Glinda to continue.
Glinda opened her mouth, her words stuck somewhere between her lungs and her throat.
“It’s something that I’m not certain you’d want to try in the real world… though we’ve never talked about it,” Glinda said, as if confessing a sin.
Elphaba stayed quiet, the slight curve of her lips the only indication of her understanding. It was this silence that allowed Glinda to go on with her intimidating honesty.
“I want you-” Glinda began, her voice faltering, “to be under my complete submission…” She searched Elphaba’s eyes, her heartbeat hammering in her chest, looking for any sign of rejection. “There are so many things I’ve thought of doing to you... but never acted upon them because I didn’t have the courage.”
Elphaba let the silence sit for a clock tick longer before responding, ensuring Glinda got all her thoughts voiced.
“I am at your disposal, Glinda,” Elphaba said, her tone sweet like honey.
Glinda flinched, the words catching her off guard.
“Don’t say it like that...” Glinda started. “It’s not- it’s not like that.” She stuttered, her cheeks flushing. “I don’t want to ‘dispose’ of you.”
Elphaba’s eyebrow arched in playful challenge.
“Are you sure about that?” she teased, her words laced with a knowing undertone.
“I think there are nicer ways to say it...” Glinda defended, leaning into Elphaba tighter. Her pulse raced, and her hands moved instinctively to pull away just slightly, so she could look Elphaba fully in the face. “Would you let me do anything to you?”
Elphaba’s hand cupped Glinda’s cheek again. Elphaba nodded slowly, a quiet affirmation that spoke volumes, her eyes never leaving Glinda’s.
“I would let you do everything to me,” Elphaba whispered, her voice slightly tantalizing, “whatever your heart desires.” Her fingers trailed gently down Glinda’s neck, where her pulse drummed hard against her skin. “You could have me by your side as we lose ourselves in the forest,” she murmured, her touch moving slowly down to Glinda’s collarbone. “Or we could slay dragons, conquer kingdoms, and fight off wicked munchkins, together.”
Glinda’s breath halted, her chest rising and falling unevenly.
“Well, I... I wouldn’t want to hurt you,” Glinda breathed out, the words coming out like a soft plea.
Elphaba’s hand snuck under the neckline of Glinda’s nightgown, circling over the smooth skin she found there. Her fingertips danced over the soft swell of her breast as she leaned in, her lips grazing Glinda’s ear, her voice dropping to a husky whisper.
“Are you sure about that...?” Elphaba repeated.
The air became thicker, the subtext of every sentence becoming more apparent to both girls as Glinda controlled the scene. Elphaba’s hand skimmed an inch lower, wrapping around Glinda’s breast and squeezing it subtly. The sensation felt exhilarating, whether from the sensitivity Glinda assigned to the gesture or the fact that Glinda missed her girlfriend so oz-damned much, she couldn’t tell.
Just as clear as day, Glinda felt a hot gush travel down to her entrance, a throbbing that was so apparent it might as well sound out like a drumbeat throughout the quiet room.
“Yes...” Glinda moaned, tilting her head back to allow Elphaba easier access to her neck. The sensation was intoxicating, like a trance, a loosening of her own control, overwhelming pleasure that came just from the tiniest touch.
But then, a small flicker of doubt passed through Glinda’s mind, adding to her subtle distress. She reached out, grabbing Elphaba’s arm that was wrist-deep in her shirt.
“Wait... Elphie, how will you know?” Glinda’s voice was fragile as she tried to rephrase. “How will I remember what I’ve done to you... what’s real, and what’s not?”
Elphaba’s hand stilled, but only for a moment before she wrapped her arm around Glinda’s waist, pulling her closer.
“Remember, it’s all up-” Elphaba kissed the side of Glinda’s temple, “Here.” Her tone was reassuring as her lips lingered for a heartbeat longer.
“But what if I forget what I did in real life and in... Here?” Glinda’s reverent panic surfaced a little.
Elphaba’s smile curled with quiet satisfaction, her fingers gently pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose with a hint of pride.
“So, that’s the ethical part! You can be completely present in your dreams, have that control. But when you wake up, it’ll be like any other night – you'll only remember bits and pieces, but not the entire dream. That way, nothing gets blurred. Whatever happens Here, you’ll remember it only in the moment. But when you wake, you’ll hardly be able to recall it.”
Glinda pondered the logic behind it.
“You will be left with the feeling of the dream more than the memory,” Elphaba continued, “And if there is anything you remember, then you can tell me out There too! I don’t doubt I’d find it amusing.” Elphaba said, offering a gentle smile.
The weight of Elphaba’s gaze lingered on Glinda, who was staring at her, awestruck and disbelieving.
“Elphaba Thropp...” Glinda drawled into a whisper, filled with admiration and something else. She leaned in, her lips meeting Elphaba’s in a deep kiss. “You are so-”
“I know,” she breathed against Glinda’s lips, already knowing exactly which compliment Glinda was going to give her. She leaned back slightly, pulling Glinda with her, her eyes half-lidded, the sultriness in her expression only growing.
“Now... do with me what you wish.” Elphaba professed.
Glinda’s senses sharpened as she noticed the subtle change in the room - the soft pink glow of the lamp deepened into a rich crimson color, casting a deeper, more intimate hue over them. The air hummed with anticipation, the thrumming in Glinda’s velvet beat harder.
She was taking the lead now, her mind setting the pace, guiding them to the edge of what felt right. In the same moment, Elphaba’s eyes fluttered, her gaze dark and almost hypnotic, her lips curling into that devilish, intoxicating smile.
“Use me,” Elphaba commanded, her voice low and full of intention, every syllable a beckoning.
Glinda’s lips parted slightly, her breath shallow as her mind raced with the endless possibilities of what she could do with her girlfriend. What she could do to her. The tone of the room morphed again, not in any physical sense, but it was as if everything was being written on the same page, aligning with her desires, obeying her every mental command.
Glinda positioned herself at the edge of Elphaba’s slowly spreading legs. The heat between them simmered as she knelt, the distance between them shrinking in a way that felt inevitable.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do this,” Glinda whispered, her voice deep with longing.
“Then show me,” Elphaba drawled.
Without warning, Glinda smacked her hands down on Elphaba’s clothed thighs, pushing them together forcefully. The act was both commanding and tender, a stark reminder of the control Glinda was beginning to wield.
“Oh, I will,” Glinda stated. She swung her legs over Elphaba’s thighs, caging her tightly. She hovered just above her, feeling the tension coil in her muscles, her legs trembling with anticipation. Gripping the collar of Elphaba’s froat, Glinda tugged her forward, pulling Elphaba’s face dangerously close to her chest, almost slamming into it.
Elphaba’s hands shot to Glinda’s hips instinctively. Right on impact, Glinda attacked her wrists and grasped them securely, pulling them up to the space between their bodies like they were a trinket that broke.
“No,” Glinda barked, “I tell you where your hands go.”
There was a flash of wild arousal in Elphaba’s eyes at Glinda’s assertions, her chest rising and falling with quickened breaths.
“And you will tell me if you’re uncomfortable at any point,” Glinda continued.
Elphaba exhaled sharply, staring at her seized wrists.
“Well, that doesn’t really matter-”
Glinda tightened her hold, stopping Elphaba mid-sentence.
“You will tell me… it matters in Here too. It matters to me.” Glinda commanded.
Elphaba’s eyes widened at the gravity in Glinda’s tone. She nodded slightly, a flicker of submission flashing across her face.
Glinda’s gaze hardened as she raised her hand and wrapped it firmly around Elphaba’s throat. The pressure wasn’t harsh, but the implication was clear: Glinda was in control.
“Words, baby,” Glinda coaxed.
“Yes. I will tell you,” Elphaba whispered, the quiet obedience in her words sending a shiver down both their spines.
Glinda flashed a satisfied smile, her fingers tightening around Elphaba’s throat in a deliberate squeeze before releasing it, her other hand giving her girlfriend’s cheek a soft, playful pat. She guided Elphaba’s hands gently to the edge of her sheer night shawl, just above the swell of her breasts.
“Take it off,” Glinda demanded.
Elphaba’s eyes flickered down to Glinda’s chest, the heat of her gaze like embers. Her fingers twitched, flexing around the fabric, as she traced her hands lightly along Glinda’s collarbones, her thumbs gently guiding the clothing lower. The soft skim of Elphaba’s thumbnails over her skin made Glinda inhale sharply as her chest rose, inching closer to Elphaba’s chin.
Elphaba’s hot breath ghosted over Glinda’s chest, amplifying the fire already stoking within her. Reverently, Elphaba slid the cover off Glinda’s shoulders, her touch an act of worship as she savored every inch of flesh revealed. Glinda straightened her arms as she helped Elphaba discard the shawl.
Glinda took Elphaba’s hands again, placing them high on her thighs, her palms stacked on top of her girlfriend’s. She pushed them gently upward, forcing Elphaba’s hands to push the hem of her nightgown higher, exposing more of her smooth, toned thigh. The sensation of Elphaba’s hands against her skin was almost too much to bear.
Elphaba squeezed the soft flesh beneath her fingers, the slightest pressure sending a sharp intake of breath from Glinda. She paused, her eyes dark with desire, and paused their joined hands still.
“Gentle,” Glinda said boldly, her voice heavy with authority, “I’ll tell you how much I want when I want it.”
“Yes…” Elphaba whispered in surrender.
Their hands continued their slow journey, reaching the edge of Glinda’s panties. Glinda strategically positioned Elphaba’s thumbs to rest just above her mound, where the heat of a wet spot was forming just below that. The dampness at her core sent a shiver through her, and she felt Elphaba’s palms settle firmly against her little love handles, resting with vetted weight.
Glinda could feel Elphaba’s fingers twitch beneath her, fighting the temptation to move her thumbs lower, to push harder. A lazy, satisfied grin spread across Glinda’s lips as she watched her girlfriend squirm under the tension.
“Stay,” Glinda commanded.
Elphaba swallowed hard, her eyes locked on Glinda as she crossed her arms, gripping the hem of her nightgown. Like a living sin, the pink witch lifted it over her stomach, her chest, then the halo of her head, exposing her nude skin, until it was tossed carelessly over the bed. The sight of Glinda’s smooth, toned body had Elphaba wiggling beneath her, wanting to draw her closer. Of course, it didn’t go unnoticed by Glinda.
“I know, my love,” she taunted softly, rolling her hips just enough to press into Elphaba’s docile palms. “It’s just so hard not to touch me, huh?”
Elphaba groaned but kept her hands still with the concentration of a Ozian guard. Glinda leaned in, her breath warm against Elphaba’s ear, whispering, “Just watch me.”
Glinda placed both her arms over her girlfriend’s shoulders, threaded her fingers into the small braids at the nape of Elphaba’s neck, pulling her head back slightly so that their gazes focused on each other. Glinda lowered herself into Elphaba’s lap, letting her weight settle comfortably in a way that made Elphaba lose all sense of composure.
She rolled her hips again, grinding into every inch of Elphaba’s palms, the friction sending a wave of sensation through her body. The slickness between her legs made it effortless, the feeling of her folds rubbing against the seat of her panties, warm and ready. A sharp, needy moan escaped Glinda’s lips, her body trembling slightly at the sensitivity.
Both of their breathing deepened, syncing in a breathy rhythm of pleasure and anticipation. As Glinda shifted again, she spread her legs wider, feeling her glistening folds peel apart from each other allowing her clit to press directly into Elphaba’s thigh, the sensation made her jolt slightly.
“Fuck, Elphie... can you feel how swollen I am already?” Glinda purred in a seductive whisper.
Elphaba’s breath was held hostage, her brows knitting in helpless desire. Every part of her screamed to grab Glinda’s hips possessively, to slam her down aggressively on her thigh, or flex it up into her sensitive center. It was almost torturous how still Elphaba stayed. Every fiber of Elphaba’s being wanted to disobey, just to be punished for it, but the need to please Glinda, to follow her command, kept her rooted in place.
“Now,” Glinda breathed, guiding Elphaba’s trembling hands to the straps of her bra. “Remove it... like you own me.”
Elphaba bit her lip as her fingers flexed around the straps, pulling them up slightly, letting the elastic stretch and admiring the way Glinda’s covered breasts pushed up with the tug before she released them, letting them snap down.
Glinda winced in pleasure, instinctually making her hips jump forward, grinding into Elphaba’s lap. Elphaba wrapped her fingers around the straps again and forced them down to Glinda’s elbows. Glinda removed her arms from the straps by herself while Elphaba glided her hands lower. She took two handfuls of Glinda’s plump chest and squeezed them lovingly, appreciating the weight and fullness of them. As her hands traveled lower, she hooked her thumbs under the bottom hem and gripped the material securely.
In a consuming hunger, Elphaba yanked the band of the bra down with a decisive pull. Glinda’s breasts bounced free, the movement so perfect, so enticing, that Elphaba couldn’t help but admire the way they reacted to the gesture with such eagerness. The hem of the bra snagged against Glinda’s stiffened nipples, tugging them downward with a delicious force that had Glinda gasping.
The bra stalled in the middle of Glinda’s stomach before Elphaba quickly hooked her hands around to the back of the bra, unclipping it with a swift motion.
Just as Elphaba was about to throw it to the side, Glinda snatched it away, holding it up like a dangling prize for Elphaba to see. She grabbed both the straps as she giggled mischievously and wrapped the bra around the back of Elphaba’s head, tugging lightly to pull her forward into a trapping kiss. The flavor was ethereal, like nothing Glinda had ever tasted before out There – a twang of warm sweetness that sent sparks through the tip of her tongue. Utterly addicting. Glinda moaned against her lips, grinding once more, pressing her chest forward so that her tits squished against Elphaba’s collarbones.
Elphaba’s hands hovered uncertainly, unsure where to touch, where to go next. She wanted to move, to explore more, but Glinda’s commanding energy had her frozen in place, as if every part of her body was waiting for permission.
After another heated kiss, Glinda flung the bra behind her, her hands gripping the collar of Elphaba’s froat with a sudden, forceful shove that sent Elphaba falling backward slightly.
“Get rid of this hideodious froat,” Glinda ordered.
Elphaba gasped sarcastically for a breathless moment.
“I thought you said it was pretty-” Elphaba began, but Glinda silenced her with another messy kiss.
“Mhm, hush those delicious lips and do it,” Glinda teased.
Elphaba struggled to wiggle out of the robe, her arms caught behind her back as she tried to escape the sleeves. In a graceless attempt, she let the robe slip from her shoulders, the soft material crumpling onto the mattress with a muffled thud. Glinda hopped off her for a moment, giving Elphaba space to discard it fully.
Just as she got situated again, Glinda’s hands gripped Elphaba’s thighs with firm pressure, her fingers leaving dainty nail marks in her moss-touched skin. She forced Elphaba’s legs apart, and as her hands slid under the white nightgown, the fabric was pushed up over Elphaba’s stomach, exposing the black lace of her panties.
The heat radiating between Elphaba's legs was undeniable. A shallow damp spot materialized on the sheets beneath her, the scent of her arousal mixed with the humid summer air.
Glinda’s breath hitched as her gaze lingered on the evidence of Elphaba's desire.
“Oh Elphie... you’re just so ready, aren’t you?” Glinda’s words were a taunt, yet a hint of admiration appeared in her tone. “So needy like this.”
“Please, my sweet…” Elphaba’s voice cracked with yearning.
Glinda pressed her palm flat against Elphaba’s chest, shoving her down, making her body bounce lightly against the mattress.
“Oz, look how easy it is,” Glinda purred, “All I have to do is move my hips and you’re begging. It makes me so fucking wet hearing those noises from your mouth.”
Elphaba gasped as Glinda straddled one of her exposed thighs. The contact of Glinda’s dripping core against her naked legs sent a spark through Elphaba’s spine, even through Glinda’s panties that hardly acted as a barrier anymore with how soaked they were. Elphaba groaned again at the sticky heat.
“That’s right, baby, keep those pretty sounds coming...” Glinda drawled as she leaned down, planting her palms on Elphaba’s sides from under her nightgown that bunched at her stomach. Glinda could feel every deep breath Elphaba took from the feeling of her ribs expanding beneath her secure grip.
Desperation clouded Elphaba’s mind, her hands whipped from their hovering position, reaching up to grip Glinda’s dangling breasts with selfish urgency. Her thumbs flicked over her attentive nipples with passionate speed, feeling the stone-hard nubs popping back and forth under her thumbs. Glinda cried out in pleasure and an overwhelming frustration.
Glinda leaned back, straightening her spine as she ground herself harder into Elphaba’s thigh, her body rocking in rhythm with her internal throbbing. She smacked Elphaba’s hands away from her chest.
“Did I say you could touch me?” Glinda snapped.
It took everything in Elphaba to not shift her weight forward, allowing her core to grind right up on Glinda’s knee that was rocking dangerously close to her aching center.
“I just- I wanted-” Elphaba stuttered.
Glinda cut her off with a precise snap of her hips that was strong enough to wedge her knee higher, right against the pleasure between Elphaba’s legs. She rocked her weight right into Elphaba’s core, making her back arch off the bed, her hands uselessly clutching the pillow under her head with desperate, futile strength.
“You wanted?” Glinda repeated, her voice a mockery of sympathy, her lip plumping in a faux pout. “Aw, poor thing. You want a lot, don’t you?”
Elphaba gasped, her breath coming in jagged pulls, as if she was drowning, each breath harder to catch than the last. Her leg involuntarily twitched under Glinda’s weight, shifting with faltering restraint and Glinda felt it.
Glinda's hips stopped in a clock tick.
She held her knee punishingly against Elphaba’s entrance through her drenched underwear, the pressure unrelenting as Elphaba struggled to listen.
“Stay still,” Glinda warned. “You move again, and I stop. You don’t get to fuck me… you get to feel me.”
Elphaba’s eyes went wide, the sharp, desperate whimper slipping from her lips in a mixture of need and anticipation. Glinda flexed her thigh, pushing deeper into Elphaba’s throbbing warmth, dragging the fabric of her soaked panties upwards, the friction catching on her needy clit.
“Yes!” Elphaba blurted, whether from the pressure or in response to Glinda’s command, it couldn’t be differentiated.
Glinda continued to swirl her hips in tight, calculated circles, riding Elphaba’s body like her little plaything. She lost herself in the intoxication of it all, the control, the way Elphaba’s body responded to her every move. Her own wetness drowned out the friction in a heavenly display of rhythmic rubbing.
Elphaba’s breaths were ragged, jerking under the pressure, and Glinda could feel it where her hands were still settled.
“I can feel you breathing for me,” Glinda claimed, grinding harder. “Feel your tummy shaking under me, but you’re not touching me, baby.”
Elphaba’s grip on the pillow tightened, her body tensing, battling between the frantic need for release and the anticipation of what Glinda was withholding. With every thrust forward, Glinda’s knee ground into Elphaba’s aching cunt, rubbing it around slightly with every circle of her hips, searching for different angles to increase her own pleasure.
Elphaba’s moans escaped in choppy bursts, barely audible as they tangled with the rhythm of Glinda’s hips.
“Oh, Elphie,” Glinda cooed in a wicked torment. “You’re gonna come just from this, aren’t you?”
Elphaba hardly gave a nod, her back arching off the mattress again, barely skimming her folds higher against Glinda’s knee. Glinda tilted her head in disapproval.
Without a word, Glinda leaned in closer, her hands tugging the shoulder straps of Elphaba’s nightgown down, forcing Elphaba’s trembling hands to do the rest. With a soft, breathless grunt, Elphaba helped her, lifting her back as the neckline of the nightgown tore down over her chest, the fabric catching over her heaving breasts for a moment before Glinda gave it a more forceful tug. The nightgown fell down, exposing Elphaba’s chest with a rippling bounce as her breasts lay bare, slightly parted to the sides, her dark green nipples standing tall under Glinda’s attention.
“Fuck, Glinda,” Elphaba yelped, her chest rising and falling with each erratic breath.
The cool air hit her burning body with a wave of temporary relief.
“Touch yourself,” Glinda demanded, her eyes turning dark with lust and dominance as she consumed Elphaba’s naked form.
Elphaba’s breath jumped in her throat, but her hands immediately moved to her aching breasts, cupping them roughly, groping them with desperate need. The moment she did, a loud moan slipped from her lips, as if Glinda were the one touching her, claiming every sensitive part of her. Her body responded instantly, rubbing her tits up against her own hands with a feverish urgency.
Glinda bit her lip at the pornographic sight, the rhythm of her hips starting up again, the slickness between them smearing against Elphaba’s thigh as she watched her lover play. Glinda’s own breathing started to become breathier, mesmerized by the way Elphaba took the nubs of both her deep blushing nipples and pinched them in between her fingers. She tugged them upwards and held them tight, stretching them in a mix of pain and pleasure.
The visual made Glinda’s own nipples tingle, the sounds and the thought of her own breasts being tweaked in the same way spurred Glinda harder. She rubbed her center rougher against Elphaba’s leg, feeling her walls tighten around nothing as she got closer.
“You’re so greedy,” Glinda reprimanded, her voice hoarse. “Playing with yourself like that…”
Elphaba’s moan spilled into the air again. She felt the wetness gathering at the hem of her panties, spilling out onto her inner thigh, rubbing against Glinda’s knee in slick, heated circles.
“Don’t you dare come yet,” Glinda threatened, shoving her leg flush against Elphaba’s mound, daring her to flood right there. Elphaba couldn’t take it.
“Glinda- please! Let me- fuck - let me touch you, I just wanna feel you- please-” Elphaba whimpered.
“I know you do, sweet girl. You wanna help, don’t you?” Glinda cooed as she slowed her rhythm. “Wanna be good for me.”
“I- I am being good,” Elphaba retorted.
“Then stay still,” Glinda huffed, coming to a complete stop, feeling herself settle against the mess between her legs. She leaned down and planted a suctioning kiss to the side of Elphaba’s neck. leaving a mark of possessiveness as she pulled back. “Just let me use your body... like the good little toy that you are,” her smile was wicked and filled with satisfaction.
Elphaba’s breath hitched at the definition of Glinda’s filthy words, feeling desperate as ever, the throbbing between her now unattended clit knocking harder and harder.
Glinda let her suffer in desperation as she shifted her weight, hooking her fingers into the waistband of her own blossom-colored panties and pulled them down, feeling the thick string of slick stretch before it snapped apart and clung to the side of her thigh. She let her ruined panties fall to the ground as she crawled up Elphaba’s body, her walls threatening to let a few drops of arousal leak onto the green gal’s chest as she positioned herself over Elphaba’s face.
With a sharp, commanding tone, Glinda took Elphaba’s hands, placing them on her thighs, fingers wrapping tightly around the muscles beneath her skin. She made sure Elphaba’s hands stayed right there , nowhere near her own aroused center.
Elphaba’s eyes widened at the sight of her girlfriend kneeling over her face, seeing how shiny Glinda’s folds already were, her skin sparkling like water as it spread all across her body. The scent of Glinda filled Elphaba’s lungs before her voice did. Glinda leaned back, took Elphaba’s hands, and placed them on her thighs, fingers wrapping tightly around the muscles from behind. She made sure Elphaba’s hands stayed far away from her sore clit.
“Here,” Glinda’s voice sharpened, “Your hands don’t move, you hold me right here. Nowhere else. Don’t you dare touch me. And don’t even think about touching yourself.”
Glinda’s knees planted firmly on either side of Elphaba’s head, her other hand gripping the headboard for leverage as she tilted Elphaba’s face just the way she wanted. The control was intoxicating.
“Tongue out,” she ordered, her voice hushed but firm.
Elphaba obeyed immediately, a hot puff of breath fled from her lips, the warmth hitting Glinda’s sensitive folds, making her tipsy already.
“Good girl,” Glinda’s breath stuttered, “Now keep it there. No whining.”
Glinda lowered herself slowly, dragging her hips just enough to feel Elphaba’s tongue lick a slow stripe from the bottom of her slit all the way to her swollen clit. The first touch of wet contact was electric, making Glinda’s stomach tighten, her thighs already trembling under Elphaba’s compliant mouth. She rocked her hips again, pushing deeper, forcing Elphaba’s tongue further into her folds, gathering more of her slickness with every movement as she rubbed against her.
Elphaba groaned, her tongue catching the essence of Glinda, running over the wetness that dripped down, coating her chin. The warm juices threatened to slide further down her throat.
Looking down, Glinda saw Elphaba’s glassy eyes, her lips shining with her pleasure, and the puddle of her own arousal glistening on Elphaba’s tongue like wet crystal. The erotic sight nearly broke her resolve, her chest hiccupping hard with every breath, her own dominance shuddering slightly.
“Swallow,” Glinda commanded breathlessly, her chest heaving with the effort of maintaining control. She lifted herself slightly, giving Elphaba space to pull her tongue back into her mouth, her eyes closing as she swallowed the taste of Glinda, her throat bobbing as she consumed the flavors of her girlfriend in blissful ecstasy.
Elphaba released a guttural moan, staring back into Glinda’s dark leather eyes, a word that sounded like “fuck” and “Glinda” ghosting between her labored breaths.
“Shit…” Glinda groaned, her chest rising and falling rapidly. “You’re such a good little seat, Elphie. You were meant to be under me.”
Glinda lowered herself again and Elphaba hummed in agreement under her, the vibration of her voice booming against Glinda’s folds sending shockwaves through the Gillikan girl. A silent moan shaped itself across Glinda’s lips.
As Glinda looked down at her girlfriend, Elphaba’s emerald eyes were hazy, tears slipping from the corners, disappearing into her dark hair. The sight was almost too much for Glinda, the intensity of the moment overwhelming them both.
Glinda’s death-grip on the old wood of the headboard tightened, her knuckles went white as her other hand tangled in Elphaba’s braids, subtly adjusting her face to the perfect angle. Then she lowered herself rougher, pressing all her weight down onto Elphaba’s mouth, her body shaking slightly with the movement.
“Oh, baby,” Glinda whimpered, “D-don’t- don’t stop. Stay just like that-” Her breath was ragged between words, the desperation in her voice clear. “Let me use you... let me come on that sweet mouth.”
Elphaba’s hands tightened around Glinda’s thighs, her body straining with the need to pull her closer. But Glinda felt it.
“No,” Glinda gasped, her hips jerking as she smeared another gush of slick across Elphaba’s lips. “You don’t pull me down. I decide when I take more,” she commanded firmly.
Elphaba at that point so desperately wanted to jam her thumbs right against Glinda’s clit, stretching her painfully wide for those remarks, but she miraculously kept her obedient composure, just like Glinda wanted.
Glinda’s grip on the fistful of Elphaba’s braids tightened as she resumed her movements, using Elphaba’s face like her own seesaw, finding every angle that felt divine to her. Elphaba’s tongue flattened against Glinda’s sex, every thrust lighting Glinda up like lightning, unsure of how much longer she could hold on.
“Elphie, I-I'm so close... don’t- ahh... don’t move,” Glinda demanded.
As she continued to ride Elphaba, Glinda positioned herself so that each thrust sent the tip of Elphaba’s tongue flicking against her needy clit, the pressure indescribable. Glinda’s movements became erratic, her walls fluttering against nothing, her body aching for release.
Elphaba could feel it, too - her girlfriend’s lustful desire, pooling heavily at her entrance. The pressure was almost unbearable, but Elphaba obeyed, her tongue keeping perfectly still as her mouth watered, letting Glinda take control of the rhythm.
“Fuckkkk!!” Glinda cried, her grip tightening painfully in Elphaba’s braids. The sound of Elphaba’s moan only made Glinda’s velvet walls clench harder, teetering on the edge.
With what little strength she had left, Glinda quickened her pace, dragging herself raw against Elphaba’s tired tongue until-
“Ahhhh Elphie!!!” Glinda screamed, her back arching as she dipped her head, eyes shut tight. Her entire body spasmed, and Elphaba’s hands shifted, moving to catch Glinda’s weight at her hips, holding her steady as the release of her climax flooded into Elphaba’s mouth.
Elphaba’s eager tongue swiped in every direction, swirling over her girlfriend’s folds, collecting every drop, cleaning her in real time. The sensation was overwhelming, like something that could only be recognized in a different dimension. Glinda’s vision bled white at the edges as her stomach tensed, letting go completely, surrendering as she let every drop of herself be consumed by Elphaba’s lapping tongue.
When Glinda’s body finally began to relax, the grip on Elphaba’s braids loosened, her breath coming in deep, shaky pants. She opened her eyes, meeting Elphaba’s soft, half-lidded gaze. Her kryptonite eyes were heavy with bliss, and Elphaba seemed to float in a peaceful trance.
Glinda’s legs twitched as she slowly shimmied herself off her girlfriend’s face, positioning herself flush against Elphaba’s entire body, coming in close. She clocked the shine of her arousal on Elphaba’s chin, and with a quick motion, she leaned forward, extending her tongue to swipe the slickness from Elphaba’s chin, bringing it into her mouth with a quiet hum of satisfaction.
“I taste better when it’s coming from you,” Glinda murmured, her voice ridden with the aftershocks of pleasure.
Elphaba tried to throw out a breathy giggle in disbelief at the quippy comment, but all that was audible was a defeated, satisfied sigh. She drew Glinda closer, her hands finding the small of her back and pulling her in tight. Glinda nestled into Elphaba’s neck, breathing in the intoxicating mix of sex, woodsy musk, and poppies all fused together in the air.
Glinda voiced the tiniest satisfied sound, feeling all too content with the aftermath of her release, and even more so with her girlfriend. For a moment, everything was perfect, wrapped in the warmth and scent of Elphaba’s skin. Though Glinda wouldn’t recall this exact moment upon waking, she had to remind herself that it was all a temporary fix to an otherwise incomparable experience she would receive with Elphaba out There.
She couldn’t wait...
In the Here though, it was enough - a taste of what was to come. As long as the line between fantasy and reality remained open, Glinda felt comfortable enough to explore that space with Elphaba, testing the limits of her imagination. And when the time was right, Elphaba would return again.
Just as effortlessly as it shifted the first time, the tone adjusted itself to Glinda’s release. Elphaba pulled her even closer, her nightgown still bunched around her torso from both ends, their bodies pressed snug against each other.
“How was that, baby…?” Elphaba asked softly, almost shyly, her voice a whisper in the quiet afterglow.
Glinda hesitated for a moment, a flicker of guilt crossing her mind. She didn't owe this version of Elphaba anything, yet she couldn't shake the need to express her gratitude. This Elphaba, however different, still felt like her, and that connection meant everything.
“Thank you,” Glinda breathed, her words carrying the weight of a thousand unspoken sentiments. It was more than just appreciation - it was a thank you for the magic, the release, for the intimacy, the boundary, the memory of a dream that would hover the next day in such delight.
And as her body hummed with the lingering remnants of pleasure, Glinda realized that, for the moment, this would be enough. Who knew what adventures would await next time, but with the intense way her body collapsed, the overwhelming sensation that her dream assigned to herself, she decided it was time for them both to rest.
“Sleep now… you did so good for me, Elphie,” Glinda dragged in a lethargic fog.
“I know… just how you wanted,” Elphaba replied, her tone filled with a calm certainty.
In that moment, Glinda didn't mind that it wasn't the real Elphaba speaking. The magic that coursed through her, the way it infused every part of her personality, made it feel just as genuine. It was special, in a way that only dreams could be - intimate yet separate from reality. A moment she would never truly remember but one that would leave its mark, lingering in her body and soul. A feeling that would wake her up satisfied, a little frisky, without fully understanding why.
And maybe, that was the best part of learning how to wield Logic magic. With that thought, Glinda let herself fall into the peacefulness of sleep, knowing that whatever came next - whether dream or waking - would be enough.
