Work Text:
Lycaon took off his vest before opening the door to his bedroom, heart still racing in his chest. The suite was quieter than usual, with the rest of Vistoria Housekeeping having left on a mission until the next day. The lights were off, the kitchen was (thankfully) empty, and there was no sound in the refined halls of the apartment beyond the soft taps of the rain on the window.
He was alone, free to lay down and think back of the events on the day and the complex emotions associated with it.
Or so he thought, before opening the door and seeing Ellen sleeping like a dog on his bed.
Lycaon froze, then gently opened the door so as to not make any noise. He snuck in, extended his vest on the stand next to the closet, then went back in the direction of the living room.
"I'm awake."
Lycaon turned around. Ellen still laid on the bed, dressed in her maid outfit, tail serving as a pillow between her legs.
"My apologies, I didn't mean to wake you up." Lycaon said
"You didn't." Ellen yawned and sat on the bed, then stretched "So... how did it go, boss?"
The wolf thiren breathed in deeply.
"It went well, I believe."
"Hmm" Ellen held up her cheek on one hand, elbow on the mattress "Did you try to kill each other again?"
Lycaon smirked, "Not this time, fortunately."
"Wow, it really did go well."
He lost himself in thought for a second, remembering the pleasant dinner and the sweet voice of his date.
"So... why did you come back so early, then?" Ellen said "You could've stayed with him for a bit longer, y'know."
Lycaon chuckled, "I'm afraid our relationship isn't quite back to that point, Miss Ellen."
Ellen nodded slowly. Her eyes drifted to the corner of the room.
"I was under the impression you were with Corrin and Rina." Lycaon said
"I called in sick right before they left."
"Oh, that's rather unfortunate, I can make you some-"
"I lied."
Lycaon's brow furrowed. Ellen looked back at him, face disinterested.
"It's an easy job," Ellen said "Honestly, I wouldn't have had much to do anyway."
"Miss Ellen, this doesn't set a good precedent."
She looked away. That's what clued Lycaon in. He sighed and walked closer to the bed, then sat next to her.
"Did you eat?" he said "Would you like me to cook for you?"
"I'm not really hungry."
She didn't offer further explanation and the room fell silent. Lycaon tried to establish eye-to-eye with the shark thiren, but she kept looking in the opposite direction, feigning distraction.
He tried to form words, dig deeper at the issue and offer a solution, but it would've been pointless. He was getting ready to get up when Ellen spoke again.
"Will you go back with him?"
Lycaon froze, then crossed his arms over his knees.
"I do not know." he said, looking at the open door.
"Does he want to?"
Lycaon hesitated "I do not know..."
"You?"
Lycaon didn't reply this time. The room fell back in silence. The rain kept drumming the window but the suite remained in silence. Now he could slightly tell Ellen's breathing among the silence, slow and heavy.
"How are your classes lately?"
Ellen shrugged "Some Bs, some Cs, no Fs."
Lycaon smiled "How many Ds?"
Ellen thought about it for a second, then looked at Lycaon "Don't tell Rina."
"What shouldn't I tell Head Maid Alexandrina Sebastiane?" he chuckled, "As a matter of fact, I'm not quite sure I remember what we were just talking about."
"You should have that checked out, boss." Ellen said with a half-smile and a deadpan tone.
"Thank you for your recommendation, I will take it into consideration posthaste."
"Or don't." she shrugged "Better for me."
They both stared at the open door in silence. Ellen shifted in bed for a bit, but did not say a word.
After a while, enough time had passed that Lycaon decided to address the issue.
"Is this about Hugo?" he said, almost in a whisper.
Ellen stared in silence for a second, then sat on the bed with her knees up and covered her face in her crossed arms. She took the exact same posture that she had when they found her in Hollow Zero, so long ago now.
He thought of words to console her, but none of them were right.
"I hope it works out." she said, finally "I don't know if he deserves you, but you deserve to be happy."
Lycaon smiled "I am quite happy already, as long as I can see you three share in that happiness."
Ellen gave him a side eye, then slowly got up from the bed. Lycaon was initially surprised, and wondered if he had said something wrong. He knew he definitely had when she walked to him and sat on his lap, resting her head on his shoulder and circling her tail around him. Almost by instinct, he held her back to make her comfortable.
"You're so sappy, old man."
"I am simply being genuine. Every day I fight for you three at Victoria Housekeeping." he hesitated for a bit, then corrected himself "...for my family."
Ellen nodded "He was your family first, though."
"I will not abandon you, nor Corrin, nor Rina."
"I know."
Silence again. He could now hear both of their breathings in tandem. So much unsaid, yet they both had the exact same thought process.
"Is there anything I can do to make you feel better, Ellen?" Lycaon said
"This is helping." she said "Maybe another hour of this will fix me."
"As you wish."
"I was joking." Ellen smirked, reluctantly. "You agreed to it so quickly."
"I have held up a position for longer before."
"How long is that?"
Lycaon gave it some thought, then replied "Couple years ago this client wanted me as the butler of this dinner, and they wanted someone to hold the wine next to the table so they could get refills."
"Classic rich people." Ellen closed her eyes "Did they drink a lot?"
"Quite the opposite. Had they drunk a lot the weight of the bottles would have lightened with the passage of time, perhaps I would have had a chance to stretch my legs and arms when going to get more."
"But they didn't?"
"Over a period of five hours, they didn't ask for a single drop of wine even once. I suspect it might have been some manner of monetary show of strength."
"Maybe he wanted you to be around in case something went down."
"Quite a solid theory as well."
"Or everyone at the table really liked how you looked in that pose." she said
Lycaon chuckled, but didn't reply.
"There's this dog in Sixth Street." said Ellen "He... uh... mans this kiosk."
"Ah, Master Howl, I'm familiar with him."
"Right, so his store is open 24/7, but people never buy anything at night, because then they'd have to wake him up."
"I'm not sure that these specific clients were worried about bothering me." Lycaon said "Or were even capable of caring about other people to begin with."
"So then they were looking at your ass, got it"
The room fell back in silence. The rain became more aggressive, and the drumming on the window more intense. Lycaon stared into the dark hallway outside, feeling Ellen's breathing slow down on his chest. She felt so frail in his arms, despite the definition of her muscles and the hardiness of her tail. He thought back of her first year with them, days so far away now. She had grown so much from the little thiren girl hugging her shark plush, yet part of that Ellen still lived under her veil of indifference.
Lycaon came back to the present, and realized she had fallen asleep. He locked his mechanical knees and stared into the darkness, in sole company of his memories and her gentle breathing.
"Miss Ellen, dinner is ready."
Lycaon had found the room in darkness, barely illuminated by the night light on her desk. Ellen was nowhere to be found, and the window was wide open. He sighed and walked to the window, closing it shut, then pulled one of the keys on his belt to lock it. He wouldn't fall for that one again.
"I asked Miss Rina to let me cook tonight. I thought you might appreciate a break from her... cuisine."
He turned around and looked around the room. His wolf thiren sight let him see better than humans, but he still had no view of the girl.
"Well, if Miss Ellen is gone I suppose I will have to dispose of the dessert as well." he said "A shame, I can't partake in it so Miss Rina will have no one to share it with."
This time he heard a hint of movement.
Lycaon sighed and softened his face, then crawled next to the bed and looked under it. A pair of red eyes stared right back at him.
"Good evening, Miss Ellen." he said
The little girl didn't respond, instead crawling deeper into the bed. It seemed she hadn't yet realized she was only getting closer to the other side of it.
"May I speak to you for but a second?" Lycaon said, without moving.
Ellen didn't reply, but she also refused to take her eyes off of him.
"It seems our busy schedules have left us busy lately and unable to provide the care that you, our most valuable client of Victoria Housekeeping, deserves."
Ellen kept looking, forming tiny fists.
"What I mean to say is, we might have started off with the wrong foot, and would like to work on correcting this."
Ellen crawled back.
"But if you disagree," Lycaon chose his tone carefully so as to not sound threatening "we would spare no expenses in finding you a pair of foster parents more to your liking."
Ellen stopped and finally broke eye contact, looking to the side. Lycaon got up, moving slowly so as to not startle her.
"If you excuse me, I will be in the kitchen."
Lycaon walked to the door, and he was about to cross it when he heard shuffling behind him. Ellen came out of the other side of the bed, dragging her tail on the floor, and walked to him in silence, then grabbed his index finger while looking at the floor.
Lycaon simply smiled and escorted her to the dining room.
Ellen woke up about an hour later. Lycaon could tell because her tail started to tighten around him, then she adjusted her pelvis on his lap.
"Sorry..." she said, rubbing her eyes with one hand "You actually did it, huh? After I made fun of you and all."
"Did that 'fix you'?" Lycaon said with a smile.
Ellen snorted then blushed.
"I do feel better now." she got up from his lap and fixed her dress "Thanks."
Lycaon nodded and unlocked his legs, feeling pretty tired himself. He stood up and took off his muzzle, then folded it nicely next to his jacket.
"I'm sorry" Ellen whispered.
She likely meant it only for herself, but Lycaon heard it perfectly.
"You have nothing to be sorry for." he said, casually taking off his gloves and pulling out his indoor eyepatch from a drawer in the closet.
"That's not true." she said "It wasn't right."
"You're young, Ellen." Lycaon adjusted the eyepatch and rubbed his snout where the straps had been pressing "At your age I was getting into fights and stealing."
He hesitated, then smirked over his shoulder.
"Well, I suppose I still am, but back then I wasn't being paid for it."
"You're dodging the topic."
Lycaon stopped, then looked away from her and sighed.
"Yes, I suppose I am." he muttered
Silence again, not even interrupted by the rain anymore. Ellen's dress jingled as it shifted uncomfortably.
"Sorry, forget I said anything."
She was about to leave when Lycaon turned to face her.
"I'm your guardian." he said "The responsibility doesn't fall on you."
She stopped right at the door.
"I shall carry this guilt myself." he added "I should have been better."
Ellen took a deep breath.
"You keep saying that, over and over." she said "But I'm not a kid anymore, Lycaon. I know what I did."
"I should have-"
"Stop that." she turned to him "I know you're trying to do what's right, to remove my guilt, but we know that's not what happened."
She walked to him, slowly. He didn't flinch.
"My only regret was not doing it earlier." she said "I don't deserve absolution for my actions. I don't want it."
She reached a trembling hand to his chest.
"I want you." she said "I want you and I'm losing my damn mind about it..."
Lycaon looked away, ashamed.
"For years I've been fantasizing about your touch, for longer than I even knew my biological parents." she gripped his shirt, her voice turned angry "What I did wasn't some spur-of-the-moment whim, boss. I planned it, and would do it again."
She grabbed his tie. He didn't respond. They both fell in silence, and when Ellen talked again her voice sounded hesitant.
"No... I will do it again." she whispered "You can try to fight it all you want, but I will not stop."
She pressed her forehead against his chest.
"I have tried, I truly have, to stop thinking about you this way." she pulled his tie harder "I have told myself that it's twisted, that it's hurting you, but I just... can't stop remembering that night, I can't stop reliving it every waking moment, and before I know it I'm waiting for you to be away so I can sneak into your room and..."
Ellen clenched her jaw and started sobbing.
"I-I don't know what to do to fix this... To put everything in a box and lock it away forever..." she stuttered "I'm sick, dad... I'm fucking sick in the head..."
Ellen broke into tears. Lycaon didn't hesitate, he hugged her and let her cry into his chest. He didn't say anything, he didn't respond, he didn't try to argue with her, he simply caressed her hair while his arms made her feel safe again.
Lycaon had failed.
Once again he wiped the tears of mascara from his daughter's face and kissed her on the lips.
Once again she leaned on the wall while he pressed his body against hers.
Once again his chest burned while his skin tingled with anticipation.
Once again he drank from the cocktail of shame and ecstasy, and found himself thirsty for more.
That night, it didn't matter who of the two had made things turn out that way, or which one had given up on their self control first. Neither would it matter after it was done, or how many more times they'd promise it was the last.
Ellen was right, she was sick, and Lycaon was the only one who truly understood it.
"Daddy..." she whispered mid-kiss. Lycaon kissed her again.
One day Ellen would leave their home, make a new life of her own, far away from him and Rina. If they were lucky, she would call on weekends and visit on holidays. If the universe was just, he would never see her again...
Tonight Lycaon pulled back and looked into her eyes. Ellen's face was burning red, mouth half-open and eyes uncharacteristically emotive. He caressed her cheek, his trimmed claw drawing a line from the beauty mark on her cheek to the corner of her mouth.
One day Ellen would meet another man. Someone better, someone stronger, someone else that would kiss her lips, hold her hand, and make love to her while she whispered his name...
Tonight she bit softly on his thumb and grazed with hers the teeth in his massive maw. In response, Lycaon dragged a hand to her chest and softly groped one of her tits with his big hand, feeling her soft plump nipple through the cloth.
One day, Lycaon would find someone of his own. Perhaps he would fall back into the embrace of his former lover, or perhaps into the hands of someone else entirely. He would kiss them, he would hold them, he would press his body against theirs...
Tonight Ellen moaned into his thumb. She pulled back her hand and leaned her head to the side. Lycaon immediately knew to kiss her neck, his jaws gently closing around it like a beast executing its prey. His teeth pressed against her skin, tongue delighting in the silky texture, nose in the smell of her sweat. Ellen breathed out a stuttered moan, letting go of the thumb in her mouth and closing her eyes.
One day Lycaon would be an old dog, body unable to keep up with years of abuse and Ether exposure. Ellen's children would call him grandpa, ask him to carry them on his back, and to make them delicious meals...
Tonight Ellen ripped her pantyhose with barely any effort and raised her maid skirt. Lycaon unbuckled his belt without letting go of her neck.
One day...
Tonight Ellen wrapped her arms around Lycaon's neck and her tail around his waist.
One day, maybe...
Tonight Lycaon carried her against the wall by getting ahold of her small, yet perfectly, round ass.
But that night, she would get what she wanted.
"D-Daddy!" Ellen moaned into his ear as he inserted himself. His tail wagged in response.
"Ellen..." he whispered, letting go of her neck and looking down at her.
She opened her eyes and looked at him with a yearning expression. Lycaon could feel her soft folds against his knot, and it took him immeasurable strength to not push past them.
"Oh fuck I missed this..." Ellen mumbled, and stuck out her tongue, invitingly "Aaaaa~"
Lycaon kissed her again, if that could be called a kiss. They bit on each other's tongues with sharp teeth, then sucked on them and swapped saliva. Lycaon waited for a pause and started to move his hips, first pulling back a little, then pushing back in, always careful to not go all the way. Ellen didn't need much to melt in his arms. His cock was huge, and her pussy not meant for it.
It hurt her, he knew, but she never seemed to care. Every time he pushed against her walls she moaned with such abandon one could imagine her soul leaving her body. Lycaon responded with grunts at first, too focused on her pleasure to dedicate it to himself.
Then Ellen broke their kiss and bit on his neck. Her teeth were sharp, but his fur and muscles made it safe for her to scream in pleasure as she moved her hips against his. This was the difficult part, as Lycaon constantly tried to maintain pace and keep her from knotting herself on him.
Lycaon could only growl as she dig her nails into his back, sending signals of pain that mixed with the pleasure of Ellen's soft, warm pussy tightening around him
"'addy... 'addy..." She moaned without letting go of his neck.
Lycaon hated that she called him that, but it also made him want to correct her doing exactly what he already was.
The distraction worked, and Ellen impaled herself on his cock until the knot at his base entered her with a soft 'plop'. Immediately Lycaon felt Ellen cum. She stopped moaning, tightened her grip around him, and dug her nails into his skin. He growled again, this time with some unintended ferocity, as he pulled her away from the wall and pushed them onto his bed. The movement surprised her, and she let go of him on impact.
He growled in frustration, unable to move or pull back, so he did what his instincts screamed at him to do: He ripped the top of Ellen's dress and put one of her tits in his maw. She arched her back, her own mix of pain and pleasure ambushing her as Lycaon's soft touch turned furious. Her pussy tightened around Lycaon again, and the convulsions from her orgasm returned stronger.
Lycaon let go, aware of the puncture marks in her breast, salivating at its texture.
"Is this what you wanted so much?" He asked in a low voice, forcibly grabbing both of her wrists with one hand, then pushing them above her head "Then I am at your command... with no late cancellations."
He bit her again and gyrated his hips, paying special focus to the spot he knew she loved. Ellen's face turned into a mess of emotions, intent or thoughts unreadable as she changed from clenching her jaw to crossing her eyes and panting. Lycaon could feel the heartbeat on his nether regions grow faster and faster, synchronizing with the spasms around his cock. He was close, so close, and she was forcing him to work for it while she enjoyed herself.
With his free hand, Lycaon forcefully gripped her daughter's face and kissed her again.
Immediately he was hit by his own orgasm and the sensation of his seed flooding into her. She moaned into his mouth, arms attempting to fight his strength but finding themselves unable to compete, shark tail stretching like her toes did as her legs locked around his hip.
Lycaon snapped back what felt like hours after his climax, still stuck in his kiss with Ellen. He broke it off slowly, and as he did he felt the string of saliva between their tongues, leading to the messed up lipstick over her face mixing with the delta of mascara left by her tears.
Lycaon panted heavily, Ellen did the same in harmony with him. Reason slowly came back to both, and they avoided each other's gaze as they waited for the knot inside her to let her go. This proved to be a mistake, as Lycaon got a clear view of the bite marks he had left on her exposed breast, surrounded by the shreds of her dress.
He let go of her wrists, ashamed.
"That... Will prove difficult to justify..." He said, pointing at her chest with his snout.
Ellen blushed.
"Maybe... we tell Rina we had an emergency commission?"
"I doubt she will believe us." He said "She will know someone did this to you... In this manner."
"But will she believe it was you?"
Lycaon didn't respond. He didn't believe it either.
"Ellen, I..."
"Save it."
She extended a hand and forced him to look into her eyes.
"You can sulk all you want later." She then smiled "For now, can your little girl get a hug?"
He cringed, but happily did just that. Ellen closed her eyes, hugging him back, feeling him still press against her insides.
One day he would step up and put a stop to their twisted endeavor.
But that night he was all hers.
