Sitting there, with a hot chocolate in his hands. The floor was too cold to be sitting on but it’s where the love of his life worked best, and who was he to stop her? He chuckled to himself as he watched her hyper-focus on the pages in front of her. She had gotten inspiration for a new song while they were out that day, but she was struggling to find it again.

“What do you think of ‘I’ll hold my breath for you?” he was immediately interrupted. “It’s lovely but-“ she looked up at him with a twinge of disappointment in her eyes. He knew she hated being dismissed. “I think the ‘for you’ is a bit much- you could leave it implied”. Parfait cookie looked down and a smile flashed arcos her face. “You’re right! Thank you honey”
Red Velvet grimaced he knew she wasn’t getting anywhere with this session, and was getting internally frustrated. “Pari” she sighed defeatedly, he knew her all too well. “I know you were very inspired today but maybe it’s time to put the pen down for the night, okay?” She looked up at him and nodded, the surge of creativity was gone, and no amount of staring at the unfinished papers was going to help.
They cleaned up and put everything away together, before falling into bed. The day was long and tiring (a description of the day they had)
“I love you Vel” Parfait Cookie cuddled up next to him, now letting herself relax.
“Say that again” She looked up at him with a slight smile on her face “what?” She giggled, “say it again” he shifted to look directly in her eyes “cmon, tell me you love me again”
“I love you?” Parfait cookie tilted her head in confusion, what was he doing?
“No baby, say it how you said it earlier.” A little confused, she went along with it anyways,
“I love you vel, I love you so much”. Red Velvet grinned with content, he loved hearing her say how she loved him. He could always feel the truth within her words.
“I love you too” he pressed a kiss on the top of her head, cuddling up once again.
“Again.” Now the game has turned on him. Unlike parfait, he goes along with it quite quickly. “I love you” a sly smile formed on Parfait Cookies face- she knew how to take it up a notch.
“I don’t know, that didn’t sound very sincere..” Red Velvet placed his hand over his heart, obviously offended by what his girlfriend was insinuating.
“That was a very sincere I meant it with everything I have.” She giggled softly.
“Say it till you mean it, baby I’ll hold my breath” Red Velvet raised an eyebrow in surprise.
“Oh really? Well you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone my dear” Parfaits mischievous grin cracked a bit, he knew that she loved that nickname and couldn’t help but melt everytime he uses it.
“So tell me that you love me, again.” Red Velvet threw his head back in defeat.
“Alright alright you win,” he pulled her closer, while turning her chin towards him. Their lips just about touching.
“I love you Parfait Cookie.” She melted in the moment and kissed him without hesitation, how could she resist him?
