Work Text:

“Vash?”

Knives smelled him before anything. The sweet lingering scent of his omega brother, just around the corner.

Knives’ office door has been left open, as he’s learned to keep all his doors. Knives always knows where Vash is but it's even easier this way, with no walls barring them.

It’s just that Vash is still so awfully shy, sometimes pacing outside for minutes before mustering the courage to knock. Knives calls out to him before it goes on for too long.

Knives has thought perhaps it's too lenient of him to give without Vash asking. Omega pups need to learn how to use their words. But Knives doesn't want to deny Vash anything and Vash has only known to live with want. No amount of doting would spoil his wounded brother.

“Baby brother?” Knives tries again when Vash doesn't answer.

“O-oh, um, hello.” Guilt colors Vash’s voice, anxious and wavering.

“Won’t you come in, Vash? I do so miss your lovely face.”

“Oh.” Vash peeks around the door, just enough to show the tip of his pinkened ear. “I’m not bothering you?”

“You could never,” Knives promises. He takes off his reading glasses to see his brother better. “Will you sit with me?”

Vash pauses, quiet.

“Only if you’d like,” Knives adds, though he knows Vash would. “I find I work better with you by my side.”

“Really?” Vash asks softly.

“Of course, baby brother. Who else gives me strength like you do?”

Vash flushes, ducking his head.

That seems to appeal to Vash, just as Knives thought but he didn't lie. Vash’s scent has always been a balm on Knives’ nerves. More, after everything that's happened. If Knives were to be selfish, he’d keep Vash by his side every second of the day, tucked safe in his arms.

A minute passes but Knives receives no reply, though Vash has already answered with the flowering of his scent.

“Baby brother? Won’t you help me?”

“Okay,” Vash finally says. His voice is shy but eager, so sweet that Knives wants to run out and steal him, but Knives knows it's important to let Vash take on his own.

“Here, come sit, Vash.” Knives pushes back his chair to make room and beckons him closer.

Vash takes a few small steps forward, showing more of himself as he rounds the door frame.

Knives admires Vash as he slowly makes his way closer. He’s wearing Knives’ sleep shirt, perhaps from a morning nap or just because he wants to. Knives doesn’t know which idea he likes more. Vash should always look loved, neglect isn’t worthy of him.

“You brought Mr. Shiro,” Knives comments, pulling Vash onto his lap.

Vash has his favorite kitty doll in his arms, the white one that Knives gave him as his very first real gift.

Vash giggles when Knives kisses him. “He might get lonely,” Vash says, offering Mr. Shiro for Knives to pet.

Knives thinks that the same could be said about Vash but he doesn’t mention it. “Well, we wouldn’t want that, would we?” Knives says instead, leaning in to scratch Mr. Shiro’s chin. He rubs his wrist behind the kitten’s ears, leaving his scent for Vash to enjoy later.

Vash seems to want it right away, nosing Mr. Shiro like a real cat. “Um, are you sure I’m not being a bother?” Vash asks, voice muffled by Mr. Shiro’s fur.

“You’re already doing more than I could ask for.” Knives kisses Vash’s crown. “If you’d like, we could move some of your books and puzzles into my office.”

“Is that okay?”

Knives hums softly, tucking his nose against the soft spot behind Vash’s ear. “Of course. There's no need to worry, Vash. I enjoy your company as much as you do mine. Perhaps more.”

“That’s not true,” Vash protests, burying his face into Mr. Shiro. He’s not angry though, still rubbing up against Knives in return, taking as much of his scent as he can.

Knives furrows his brow but he doesn't stop Vash. “What’s not true?”

“You said more. I like being with you too.”

Knives laughs, glowing with affection. “Yes, I know, Vash.”

Vash doesn't reply, quietly swinging his feet. Knives hasn't seen Vash pout before but he can't say he's disappointed. His brother is just so darling. Knives thinks Vash should be allowed to act spoiled after everything he's been through.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t say that to belittle your feelings. I only wanted to tell you of mine.” Knives cups Vash cheek to kiss the other. “I adore you very much, baby brother.”

Vash’s skin warms under Knives’ touch, soft like the petals of a flower. He won't meet Knives’ eyes but Knives can tell Vash isn’t so upset anymore.

“Am I forgiven?” Knives asks.

“I wasn’t mad,” Vash mumbles, pink in Knives’ lap.

“No?”

Vash shakes his head.

“I wonder.” Knives smiles, patting Vash’s back. He thinks that’s it until Vash steals a quick kiss, lips brushing Knives’ cheek.

Vash.

Vash giggles and hides in Knives’ throat. Soft as a feather, Vash’s lashes tickle the cut of Knives’ jaw. Maybe Vash really wasn’t mad after all.

“What am I going to do with you?” Wanting a kiss of his own, Knives chases after Vash, raining a flurry of kisses along Vash’s nape.

“That tickles!” Vash protests, squirming but grinning nonetheless. He’s so beautiful like this, Knives can’t get enough.

They play like that until Vash has gone breathless, red-faced and panting. His scent is happy as can be, perfuming the room with sweet sunny delight. Knives’ own face aches from smiling much too hard, but that’s definitely more of a blessing than a curse.

“You–you have to work,” Vash manages, gently pushing Knives. He curls in on himself, holding Mr. Shiro to his tummy.

Knives stops right away, glancing at Vash’s arms. “Does your stomach hurt?”

Vash laughs again, wincing as he does. “A little.”

“That’s not good. Let me see.” Knives worms his hand under to check.

Vash stifles a giggle. He’s so sensitive, even this tickles. “Ow,” Vash complains.

“Vash.”

“Sorry.”

“No, you haven’t done anything wrong.” Knives rubs Vash’s stomach, easing the pain away. Even over his clothes, Vash is warm. The muscles of Vash’s abdomen still twitch from laughter, tensing under Knives’ palm.

Vash hides his smile in Mr. Shiro’s fur. He’s a good pup, doing his best to take measured breaths.

Knives follows suit and tries to calm Vash with firm circles, though there’s not much effort required on Knives’ part. Vash is so small in comparison, Knives’ hand almost spans Vash’s entire width.

“Still ticklish?”

“No, feels good,” Vash tells him, stretching out for Knives to touch.

Knives does as Vash likes until he’s jelly in Knives’ lap, relaxed and content.

“Better?” Knives asks.

“Mhm.”

“Good. I don’t want you hurting.” Knives kisses Vash’s temple.

“It’s okay. It happens when you have too much fun,” Vash explains, beaming.

“Is that right?” Knives touches the corner of Vash’s smile.

Vash nods.

“Hm, then I suppose there will be more stomach rubs in our future?”

“Um, only if you want,” Vash says, suddenly shy again.

“It’d be my pleasure.” Knives kisses Vash’s warming cheek.

“Yay!” Vash kicks his feet in the air, loving the idea as much as Knives does.

Knives chuckles and pulls Vash up into his lap, properly cuddling him. Vash hums happily and brushes up against Knives in return.

Their pheromones bloom like first spring, fresh and dewy, their very own bouquet of home. Knives’ heart aches as if it’s about to burst, brimming with love. Who would’ve ever thought Knives would get to live a life like this?

“My baby brother,” Knives murmurs into Vash’s nape.

“Nai-nii.” Vash’s ear tips turn red with shyness. Knives doesn’t need to say a word, Vash already knows what Knives thinks from the sweetening of Knives’ scent.

“I love you,” Knives tells him anyway.

Vash giggles, pleased. “I love you, too.”

Knives kisses Vash’s cheek. The heat of both their flushed faces tickle but that only makes Knives smile more, pressing the moon of his lips to the rose of Vash’s skin.

“Um.” Vash puts his hand over Knives’ and idly traces the lines of Knives’ fingers. He’s so lovely, Knives can barely contain himself.

“Yes, Vash?”

“Oh, um, what about work?”

Knives huffs a laugh. “Ah, yes, I’d almost forgotten.”

Vash’s own smile falters, though he tries not to show it. Knives is quick to correct his mistake, taking Vash’s hand in his.

“What’s wrong, baby brother?”

“You said I’d help,” Vash answers carefully.

Knives makes a soft sound. There’s not a person alive that cares for Knives in the way Vash does.

“It’s not like that, Vash,” Knives murmurs. He kisses Vash’s knuckles in apology. "I’m in no hurry and I’m always grateful to spend my time with you.”

“Really?” Vash glances at Knives’ computer screen, then at the pile of paperwork next to it.

Knives can’t help but smile, though he’s not trying to make a habit of worrying his brother.

“I’ve never been more sure,” Knives promises.

Vash takes a second to look at Knives before nodding. “Okay.”

“Thank you.” Knives kisses Vash’s cheek.

Confusion tints Vash’s scent, probably because, in Vash’s mind, he hasn’t done anything worth thanking, but Knives knows that isn’t true.

Knives shushes Vash, hoping to clear Vash’s cloudy thoughts. There’s no need to worry and certainly not over something as trivial as work.

“Then, um, I can stay?” Vash asks quietly.

“Yes, in fact, I would prefer it.” Knives pulls Vash a little closer to rub throats. It should be obvious how much Knives appreciates his brother’s company but Vash isn’t used to being wanted.

“Oh.”

“I treasure you more than anything in the world,” Knives reminds him. “My baby brother.”

A little smile cracks through Vash’s worried expression, returning that pretty pink to Vash’s cheeks once more.

“Won’t you keep me company?” Knives asks.

“Okay.” Vash nods.

“You truly do spoil me, baby brother.” Knives kisses Vash’s cheek again.

Vash seems to accept Knives’ thanks this time, turning to give Knives a kiss too. Knives fights the happy flush in his face and scoots them closer to his desk instead.

Despite what it seems, there’s not much work left for Knives to do. It’s a slow day, and how lucky Knives is to have Vash with him.

“Now where was I?” Knives says to himself, but really it’s for Vash to hear. Knives puts on a show, frowning as he gathers his papers and opens emails. Busy but deliberate, since Vash is too clever for his own good. He’d notice if Knives was pretending.

“Your glasses,” Vash points out.

“Ah, it must've slipped my mind.”

Maybe Knives was more distracted than he thought but he didn’t lie. It’s silly but it’s almost like he can see better with Vash beside him. Vash doesn’t seem to share the same sentiment though, staring at Knives almost accusingly.

Knives shakes his head, smiling. “Will you help me put them on?”

“Okay!” Vash nods, easily distracted. Hardships may have aged him but he’s still a pup at heart.

Vash takes Knives' glasses in both hands, reaching up to place them on Knives’ face. Knives closes his eyes and bows his head. He feels Vash carefully rest the legs of the glasses on his ears. The warmth of Vash's hands ghost Knives' cheeks as Vash straightens everything to his liking. He's so gentle with Knives it's almost funny, but Knives finds it more lovable than humorous.

Knives only opens his eyes when he feels that Vash is satisfied.

“Good?”

Vash nods. He’s a little red, struggling to meet Knives’ gaze.

“What is it?”

“You look really handsome,” Vash admits shyly.

Knives’ own face turns hot though he’s preening, knowing Vash likes him like this. “I didn’t know you preferred this look on me.”

Vash hides away in Mr. Shiro’s belly but he can’t mask how his flush goes down his back. “It makes you look more grown up,” Vash mumbles.

Knives laughs, both out of surprise and amusement. “Do you think me so young? I’m more than thrice your age.”

“No! I don’t know,” Vash protests, digging his face deeper into Mr. Shiro’s fur.

Knives kisses Vash’s crown with his smile and cards through the down of Vash’s hair. “Then I’ll wear my glasses more often for you.”

“You don’t have to if you don’t want to.” But Vash’s scent says otherwise, sweet and interested.

“I want whatever makes my baby brother happy.”

Vash makes an unintelligible sound, burrowing into Knives’ chest.

Knives just smiles and strokes Vash’s back until he isn’t so shy, more hot from being close than from anything else. He’s like a little furnace, warming Knives from the outside in. If allowed, Knives could easily fall asleep with Vash tucked in his arms.

But, Knives doesn’t let himself forget Vash’s concerns. He's quick to return to work, nosing at Vash’s temple between tasks.

“Comfortable?” Knives asks.

Vash nods.

Knives kisses Vash’s crown. “Good.”

“Um, what about you?”

Knives huffs a laugh. “Me?”

Vash nods.

“I couldn’t be better, baby brother.”

Vash smiles and, for the rest of the hour, he’s gracious enough to busy himself with Knives’ scent, marking them both as pack, every alpha’s dream. Knives won’t admit it but, he might be looking forward to the next time he gets called into work, eager to show off his belonging.

Knives still hasn’t broken the habit of wearing scent blockers but it’s comforting to know that Vash has his claim on Knives. Hopefully this will put a stop to all the putrid courting attempts from overenthusiastic strangers. Knives scents undoubtedly of pleased omega pup, loved and cared for, the both of them.

Vash slows as he grows more and more pheromone drunk, lax and drowsy with soft pleasure. Ever a good pup, Vash tries to stay awake for Knives as he nods on and off, fighting the weight of his lashes.

“Vash,” Knives says softly, reaching up to touch his brother's chin. Even just saying his brother’s name pleases Knives. He hides a kiss in Vash’s crown, as thanks for the opportunity.

“Ah, um,” Vash pauses to yawn quietly. “Sorry. I’ll stay awake.”

“Shh, I don't mind if you’d like to sleep.”

“But you're working,” Vash protests.

Knives smiles and ruffles Vash’s hair. Vash always wants to help. His heart is much too big for his little frame, full of thought and care.

“You needn’t keep yourself up for me. Having you here is plenty enough, baby brother.”

“You won’t be mad?”

Knives’ smile quickly turns into a frown as he struggles to school his expression. It’s not Vash’s fault. Vash has been blamed for everything under the sun and for no reason at all. Knives will not allow that sort of thing. Never again.

“Of course not. You’re the one doing me a favor. Look at how much I’ve completed,” Knives says, motioning to the stack of papers beside them.

Vash lights up at the sight, practically vibrating in Knives’ lap. “I helped?” he asks eagerly.

“You’re quite the motivator,” Knives chuckles, kissing Vash’s temple. “Perhaps I deserve a little reward for our efforts?”

Vash crinkles his brows, curious. “A reward?”

Knives’ heart beats a little faster at his own daring but Vash brings out such desperation in him, Knives finds himself doing things he’d never imagined. Surprisingly, Knives doesn’t feel embarrassed, but of course he isn’t. Anyone would be honored to have the attention of someone as lovely as Vash.

“Yes, I was thinking something like this.” Knives offers his cheek to Vash.

Vash giggles sleepily and rewards Knives with two kisses, one to the cheek and the last on his nose, the kind of kiss Vash likes to receive from Knives. Knives has to mirror Vash, returning two kisses of his own.

“Nai-nii!”

Knives smiles and kisses Vash once more. “Get some rest. I’ll be right here, Vash.”

“Okay.” Vash snuggles up close, tucking Mr. Shiro under his chin as he does, and he’s fast asleep, snoring quietly against Knives’ chest.

Knives works more efficiently than ever, and soon he’s completed more than he planned on. Vash doesn’t seem like he’ll wake so Knives takes to browsing some online shops.

In a few weeks it'll be summer and Vash needs new clothes. He’s still holding onto some of the cheap little things from the orphanage but Knives would prefer him in something better.

Knives won’t go as far as to dictate what Vash should toss and keep but it’d be an understatement to say that it pains Knives to see the remnants of that place. His only saving grace is that Vash has taken a liking to wearing Knives’ shirts at home. Vash always looks pretty but Knives admittedly likes Vash in his own clothes best, the perfect picture of a well-loved omega pup.

Time goes quickly until Vash’s scent turns heady and candied, like warmed apple honey. He’s making little sounds in his sleep and squirming against Knives’ thigh.

“Vash,” Knives murmurs, stroking the jade of Vash’s arm.

It’s about time for Vash to play but there’s no urgency. The pleasure should come easily to Vash, and Knives allows it to, patiently waiting for Vash to wake. He presses little kisses to Vash’s skin as Vash instinctively seeks his scent, nosing along Knives' chest.

A few minutes pass before Vash slowly opens his eyes, bleary and sleep-drunk.

“Ah, um, what time is it?” Vash asks.

Knives kisses Vash’s cheek. “About a quarter until four. Did you sleep well, baby brother?”

Vash nods. “Are you still at work?”

“No, I finished a little while ago.”

“Oh. Sorry.”

“Shh, not at all, Vash. I found everything quite relaxing.”

“Really?”

Knives smiles and brushes the hair from Vash’s brow. “Yes, you should keep me company again tomorrow.”

“Okay,” Vash replies brightly.

“Thank you. You’re very good to me, Vash.”

“Um.” Vash shifts, minutely rubbing his thighs together. The sticky sweet scent of pup slick is obvious but Vash won’t mention it, instead idly petting Mr. Shiro’s fur. Knives doesn’t expect Vash to voice his needs this early into his coming home but he hopes Vash will find it easier soon.

“Would you like to play?” Knives asks.

“Is that okay?”

Knives rubs Vash’s back. “Of course. We’ve got plenty of time until dinner.”

“Okay.”

“Good. Just a moment, baby brother.”

Knives leans over to open the side drawer for the pup-safe wipes. He hasn’t done anything particularly demanding but it’s always better to be safe than sorry. Knives won’t risk Vash getting sick. He has such a fragile little cunt and they’ve been so careful to nurse him back to health after Knives took him back.

Vash watches as Knives takes a sheet for himself and thoroughly cleans his hands, even getting under his fingernails.

“There, that should be good, yes?” Knives offers Vash his palms to examine.

Vash takes Knives’ hands in his but he doesn’t seem to know what to do, simply holding Knives because he’s been asked to. Vash isn’t used to such care but he doesn’t have to be. Knives made sure everything would be alright.

Knives chuckles and kisses Vash’s crown before taking back his hands. “Are you ready?”

“Oh, um, Mr. Shiro.”

“Of course, we wouldn’t want him to get messy.” Knives clears a spot for Mr. Shiro on his desk.

“Thank you.” Vash is flushed again though Knives isn’t sure why.

“Anything for you, baby brother.”

Vash smiles and kisses Mr. Shiro’s head before setting him on Knives’ desk.

“Um, I’m ready now,” Vash says shyly.

“Good. Shall we play like this?” Knives asks, stroking Vash’s ribs.

Vash nods, settling his back to Knives’ front. Vash seems to prefer it in Knives’ lap, whether that’s facing each other or not. Knives likes it this way also, particularly having Vash close enough to scent.

“Here, Vash.” Knives takes each of Vash’s legs to hook over his own thighs, spreading Vash for better play. Even clothed, Vash's scent is stronger now and Knives is eager to meet his needs. “Is this comfortable?”

“Uh-huh,” Vash replies, nodding. He’s already clutching the front of his shirt in anticipation. Knives really should have brought a pillow or something of the sort for Vash to clutch. Sometimes Vash gets so wound up that he ends up scratching his own skin from the pleasure.

“Hold onto me,” Knives murmurs, wrapping an arm around Vash’s middle.

“Um, what if I accidentally hurt you?” Vash asks.

Vash's omega claws have begun growing in and they’ve gone through more bedsheets than Knives can count. It’s just another rite of puberty and Knives doesn’t mind, he’s blessed to be able to provide Vash a safe home for it.

Knives huffs a laugh. “I doubt you could. There’s no need to worry, baby brother. You’re still a little pup.”

Vash doesn’t seem entirely convinced, wringing his own shirt.

“Any alpha would be proud to wear their pup’s marks. I please you, don’t I?” Knives kisses Vash’s cheek.

That seems to satisfy Vash, he’s learned that during his dynamic classes.

“Vash?”

“Okay.” Vash slowly unwinds his hands from his shirt to place them along Knives’ forearm.

“Good.” Knives noses the soft part behind Vash’s ear. “You smell so sweet, baby brother.”

Ah, um, you–you smell good too.”

“Do I?”

Vash nods. “I feel fuzzy,” he tells Knives.

Knives chuckles and rubs his other hand down Vash’s tummy. “I think you’ve been feeling ‘fuzzy’ for quite some time now.”

“Oh, um, maybe,” Vash agrees, flushing.

Knives kisses the shell of Vash’s ear. “I didn’t want to wake you but your sweet baby cunt was weeping all afternoon.”

“Sorry.”

“No, I love you like this, baby brother.” Knives slips his hand under Vash’s waistband and it’s as wet as it smells, warm and syrupy. He slips a finger down the split of Vash’s cunt, feeling out each petal. His brother’s cunt is always a marvel, soft and velvet with slick.

Ah, Nai-nii,” Vash gasps.

“I know.” Knives can’t stop exploring, wanting to touch every inch of Vash. He runs his fingers along where Vash is hottest, to the drenched opening of Vash’s cunt. “You’re so wet, baby brother.”

Mph, um, um, Nai-nii, that’s–”

“Sensitive?”

Vash nods, biting his lips.

“Slower?”

“Y-yes, please.”

Knives kisses Vash’s cheek and withdraws to rest his palm on Vash’s clit, warm and guarding. He can feel Vash’s cunt twitching under him, and Vash won’t stop his little moans in tandem.

“I’ve not even started but you’re very pent up, baby brother,” Knives murmurs. He rubs Vash’s cunt in wide circles, coaxing out Vash’s clit until it catches between his fingers. Vash seems to like that, gasping when Knives goes to thumb at it.

Ah! Nai-nii, good, good!”

“Better?”

“Yes, yes,” Vash nods, nearly breathless. His grip is white-knuckled on Knives’ arm, claws threatening to bite into Knives’ skin. Knives doesn’t feel guilty hoping for Vash to mark him. It’s the right thing for a pup to do, even if it frightens Vash.

“Are you close?” Knives murmurs, lips brushing Vash’s cheek.

“Yes, yes, um, ah, may—may I come, p-please?” Vash asks, chattering.

“Good boy,” Knives praises, kissing Vash’s damp temple. His brother is so good, asking in the way that pups should. “You can come, baby brother. You’re so beautiful for me.”

Vash comes in seconds, yelping before breaking into a series of whimpered moans as he seizes in Knives’ lap. Knives doesn’t let Vash run, even as Vash arches with pleasure sparking through his spine.

Nai-nii!

“I know, Vash, I know,” Knives tells him and continues to toy with Vash’s little clit. Vash always screams when Knives touches him while he comes, but Knives knows Vash likes it. Vash always pulls Knives closer, claws holding Knives in a death grip.

Vash sobs and thrashes, almost taken apart. His cunt won’t stop twitching like it’s been shocked, and Knives rewards him with constant attention, rubbing Vash’s cunt still.

“You’re doing so well, baby brother.”

The sound of Vash’s slick is obscene, even under Vash’s clothes, and Knives can feel the steady stream of squirt wetting his hand.

“I—! I, um, ah, I’m going to—again,” Vash chokes, blinking through tears. His knees lock over Knives’ thighs, trembling as he gets close again.

“That’s okay, Vash, that’s okay,” Knives agrees. Whatever Vash wants, he can have.

Ah! Um, p-please?” Vash manages, turning to barely kiss Knives’ chin.

Knives moans into Vash’s nape. Vash is just too sweet, good even when he can’t find his words.

“Yes, baby brother, you can, whenever you want, Vash,” Knives says. “My perfect baby brother, all mine, my Vash.”

Vash goes completely silent as he tenses in Knives’ lap and a fresh douse of pup slick sputters up Knives’ wrist. Knives won’t let it go to waste, using it to coat Vash’s desperate little clit. Even after two, Vash’s cunt is still ready for another and Knives wants nothing else but to give.

Ah! Mph, ah, ah, ah,” Vash gasps and gasps, shaking his head against Knives’ collar.

“One more?” Knives asks softly.

Vash nods, unable to piece together a sentence.

“Yes, I think you deserve it, baby brother.” Knives kisses Vash’s tear-stained cheek.

Vash’s lashes flutter with each breath, glimpsing his pleasure-hazed eyes for Knives to see.

“You’re so beautiful,” Knives tells him.

“Please, ah, please, please, Nai-nii, please,” Vash begs.

“I know, Vash, I have you, I'll do it just the way you like,” Knives promises.

Vash’s slick makes it easier to rub his cunt in tighter circles, closer and closer until Knives can almost stick his finger under Vash’s hood. Vash is too sensitive there, yelping, so Knives keeps steady, just running Vash’s baby clit between his fingers until Vash starts shaking anew.

Vash is so soaked that anyone listening might think Knives is doing something forbidden but it’s not Knives’ fault that his devotion knows no bounds. There’s no shame in pleasing his baby brother.

“Nai-nii! Um, um, ah, p-please?”

“You can come, baby brother, I have you, my sweetest baby brother, my Vash,” Knives says, pressing kisses to Vash’s nape.

Vash’s claws finally draw blood, leaving little pinpricks along Knives’ arm.

Nai-nii!” Vash shrieks and that’s when Knives squeezes Vash’s clit just the way Vash likes, and the reward is as great as Knives’ patience.

Slick sprays over Knives’ knuckles, wave after wave as Vash spasms against Knives. It’s so hot, Knives almost thinks Vash wet himself but there’s that familiar thick milky-feel ribboning his hand to Vash’s baby cunt.

Knives presses down to try and catch the spill but Vash is much too wired, spurting between Knives’ fingers and drenching his own thighs.

Knives moans at the mess, hoping for a taste later. “Just like that, baby brother, just like that, you’re so good for me,” Knives encourages.

Ah, ah, ah,” Vash pants as he comes down, still shivering occasionally.

“There, there, I’m with you,” Knives murmurs, kissing Vash’s cheek. He gently cups Vash’s cunt to calm the aftershocks, careful to do nothing more.

Vash tucks his face into Knives’ chest, huffing little sparrow breaths. “Nai-nii.”

“I know, baby brother. You did so well, didn’t you?”

Vash nods.

“Yes, I think so too.” Knives smiles and kisses Vash again.

They sit like that until Vash feels like himself again, shifting uncomfortably from all the slick.

Knives chuckles. “Shall we clean up?”

“Yes, thank you,” Vash replies, flushing. “Sorry.”

“Not at all, you’ve been very good today, baby brother.” Knives kisses Vash’s crown. He reaches over to retrieve another wipe but he’s stopped midway by a sudden gasp.

“Is something wrong?” Knives asks. He hopes Vash hasn’t hurt himself, they’d been so careful.

“You’re bleeding!”

Knives follows Vash’s eyes to the ten little marks on his arm, five slightly deeper than the rest from Vash’s claws. Knives' heart swells with pride. It’s perfect, proof of their closeness.

“It’s no trouble, Vash,” Knives reassures him. “I like it very much.”

“Um, are you sure?” Vash scent is already beginning to take a turn for worse, tinged with distress. That won’t do, Knives had been so good about making Vash happy.

“Yes, in fact, I think people might get jealous when they see.” Knives kisses Vash’s cheek.

That seems to help but Vash still looks conflicted. Knives sighs inwardly, cursing that damned orphanage for planting such twisted ideas in Vash’s head. He knows Vash just needs some more time with the rest of the outside world but it’s difficult not to ache at how his brother has been mistreated.

A strange sensation on his skin draws Knives out of his despairing.

“Vash?”

Knives looks down to Vash licking his wounds.

“Just like you did for me,” Vash replies, eyes innocent and hopeful.

“Vash.” Knives has so much to say, overflowing with affection, and his scent makes that known to Vash, all the love Knives holds for him. “Come here, my darling, baby brother.”
