This was a dumb idea and still is dumb, but hey, sometimes a dumb idea is entertaining
Chapter 1Start
It was such a simple action.
Anyone would have done the same.
But if everyone knew what it would lead to, they would have buried the item so deep in the ground that not even all the earth shinobi would be able to find it.
But it is too late to stop it
There was no one left who could stop it.
A simple action.
One that affected the whole world.
And all he could do to save himself
was to run.
An eighteen-year-old Naruto was in the Forest of Death, doing some training in order to see how well he could handle Anko's playground. He had never been here before, but he could safely say that this place gave him the creeps. But he wanted to train in this forest in order to get ready for the graduation exam.
He wasn't that worried about the exam, but the part that really got him sweating was the clone jutsu and the practical taijutsu matches.
The clone jutsu he was somewhat sure he could get past it, he just needed to make sure that he would be able to make an abundant number of clones to adjust to his chakra levels. So that he had covered, sure it would be impractical to make so many, but it would show that he could make ones that could pass as him.
For the taijutsu match, he had to last about five minutes or beat his opponent. If he got one of his other normal classmates, he would be able to pass, no problem. If he got one of the clan heirs, it would be tough, but he might be able to last. But if he got someone like one of the Hyuga twins, Hanabi or Hinata, he might as well try and run away from them around the ring for the whole five minutes. If he couldn't outrun them, he had no chance. The same goes for if he fought against Sasuke or his sister Satsuki.
But maybe if he survived in the Forest of Death, he would have a chance against them.
So far, he had been able to run away from a massive tiger, a bear that might as well be a monster, and he was sure that Anko sent some of her snakes after him. He had been able to get away from his last pursuer, and it looked like he left them in the dust.
But if you asked him, he said it was good training for his agility and quick thinking. Now, he was leaning on a tree root as he panted. "Ok, pretty sure that was longer than the five minutes I needed. Maybe I should call it a day." He looked at his watch and saw that it was already eleven at night. "...or night. Crap, how long was I being chased?" He looked around at the forest and finally noticed that the forest was darker than before. "Alright, I better start heading home." He began to walk toward where he came from so he could figure out where he needed to go to find the exit.
He thought about his home and couldn't help but smile, as his home was something that the third Hokage made sure was homey. It was a simple single-story house, three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a basement, an attic, a full kitchen, and a large backyard.
The Hokage first set him up with a small apartment when he was a kid, with Kakashi coming every day to make sure he was eating right, doing ok, and not burn the place down. Kakashi even helped Naruto out when he was working on his clone jutsu, telling him to try making more clones to fix his deflated clone issue. Kakashi even brought up some tips on how to improve his taijutsu. It wasn't anything extensive, but he would be able to pass the exam.
Kakashi said, "if I teach you any more now, I won't have anything later", which told Naruto that Kakashi planned on being his sensei when he becomes a genin.
And sure, Kakashi had his issues, such as being late and reading that smut book, but he was a good guy.
Anyway, after Naruto grew to the age of eleven, Hiruzen felt that Naruto would need a better place to live, and so, he helped the boy move to his new home. The old man said he would have done it sooner, but there were a lot of other issues that took precedence.
It was big for one person, but maintaining the place did keep him busy when he had nothing else to do.
Naruto came back to the present as he tripped on an uprooted tree root and fell face-first to the ground. He groaned as he lifted his head out of the mud and glared at the ground. "If I knew any earth jutsu, I would use it to break you." He placed his hands on the floor and began to push himself off the ground. Issue was that the ground he was on was more mud than anything, so his right arm sank completely into the ground, and his face met the mud again. "When I learn any jutsu, I will use it to destroy you!" He used his left hand to lift his head out of the mud and was about to pull his right arm out of it until he realized that he felt something in his right hand. He scrunched up his brows and slowly pulled his arm out of the mud.
Once his arm was out, he saw that he had some sort of metal ball that was completely covered in mud.
Naruto moved away from the mud and sat on the ground as he looked at the thing he had found. He would have used his jacket to wipe the mud off, but it was just as muddy, so he unzipped his jacket and used his shirt, which was much cleaner.
After a few wipes, the mud slid off fairly easily, and revealed it was a word ball device
The top of the thing was pink with a lighter pink spot that was in the shape of a heart. The bottom of it was a silver white. In front of the device was a button that was the same silver as the bottom.
He got up off the ground and started walking as he turned it around in his hands, as he had no idea what it was. It looked like it was some sort of device, but he had never seen something like it before. He thought it was something that belonged to a girl who might have been in the forest at one point and dropped it. He eyed the button and figured that there wasn't anything wrong with seeing what it did. He was about to push it, until he took a step on a slope "WAH~!" and he ended up sliding down a mudslide. After a couple of seconds, he hit the bottom and landed on his ass. His landing caused a cloud of dirt to puff out and caused him to cough. He waved his free hand in front of his face to clear up the dust until it cleared up. Once his coughing stopped, he shifted his body to look up at the slide he was just on and glared at it. "I'm starting to hate mud." He looked at the ball in his hand and saw that it was open. "Huh?" He saw that it was a container of something, but it was completely empty. He looked inside to see that it was some high-tech ball since it looked like it had some wires and other things in it.
But as he looked into it, he saw that it wasn't really empty. There were some pink particles that glittered in the little light in the area.
He reached into it and pulled out a pinch before he rubbed his fingers on it. He watched as the particles fell from his fingers and onto his pants. He looked down and then noticed that his entire body was actually covered in the stuff. He wondered how that happened until he figured that it must have popped open when he landed and covered him head to toe. He looked at his arm and brushed as much of it off him. "The hell puts glitter in some high-tech ball like this?" He closed the ball and wanted to open it again just to see if it still could open with the button, but when he pressed it, it was to his surprise that instead of opening, it shrank down. "Woah, cool." He pressed the button again, and it enlarged back to its normal size. He did this several times before he figured that it was something he could keep. He shrunk it one last time before he put it in his pocket. "Maybe I can paint it to be orange, instead of pink." He started to make his way through the forest, making sure he paid attention to where he was going.
Unknown to Naruto, a barely visible pink haze began to spread out from the spot he landed, swiftly swirling through the forest and soon, into the streets of Konoha.
The pink haze swept through windows, doors, and cracks of houses silently into rooms, being inhaled by the sleeping occupants.
Hinata and Hanabi were sleeping together in the same bed and cuddling, unknowingly breathing in the pink mist.
Sakura Haruno was sleeping on her bed with her arm hanging off the side. She took a deep breath as the mist circled around her.
Ino was hugging a pillow as she snuggled into the comfort of her bed, unknowingly inhaling the mist that entered her room.
The entire village started to gain a pink hue that washed over every square inch, before it flowed over the walls and into the surrounding forest and beyond.
This pink mist washed over the lands, never stopping and touching all living females that were in its path.
And that path had no end or singular direction.
It spread in all directions.
The beginning of the end.
For the old way of life, especially for one blonde shinobi in training.

Just to inform you, this pokevirus is going to transform them.
Hybrids of sorts. Though not sure which kind of hybrid. With the transformation leaning more to humans with Pokémon features, or Pokémon with some human features. I'll figure it out later.
