Dick lightly stepped across the balcony, pausing when he heard the same noise but slightly louder this time. Something, or someone, was here. Granted, he was outside of an apartment building.
Obviously, someone would be here, Richard.
A latch clicking, the sound of a window being opened. Dick approached carefully, his hands in mock surrender.
“Wait! I’m not-“ Dick called, trying to tell whoever was there that his intentions weren’t bad.
He caught a glimpse of a man before his head was struck with something hard.
OR
After a chaotic showdown between the Joker and Doctor Polaris goes sideways, Dick Grayson finds himself flung headfirst into an entirely different universe—the MCU. Now stranded, injured, and very much not in Gotham anymore, he wakes up on a roof just to get hit in the head with a bat.
The guy wears round glasses, has a sharp tongue, and—worst of all—thinks he’s the one doing the rescuing.
Dick’s night just keeps getting better.
