Eostrix

Summary:

Izuku is a 16 year old pro hero, bred to be a hero, and trained/abused by hero commission. No heroes really trust him or think he’s good, but Aizawa and him work together a lot with missions and Aizawa really thinks of him as any other student that he would have (and starts to think of him as his child later) Izuku is a funny sarcastic gremlin.

Or
Izuku, a chaos gremlin gets two dads, a brother, two boyfriends and lives his life happily after escaping the commission with the help of his dads and nezdu.

Chapter 1: The Meeting

Chapter Text

Shouta Aizawa really did not want to go to work that day. The humidness in the air made his whole body feel sticky and he was dripping with sweat after only walking for a few minutes. Not to mention it was a saturday and his real shift wasn’t supposed to start for another seven hours, but alas he had been assigned to a case with the hero killer stain and he had to go to a meeting to plan the villains demise. Sighing inwardly he came to a stop outside of the big bright yellow door of the police station. He pinched the bridge of his nose, sighed, and walked in.

The inside wasn’t anything special, there were a few desks scattered among the entrance room, but it was bare otherwise. Aizawa walked quickly up to Sansa’s desk, an officer with a cat quirk he had gotten used to working with after many run-ins with him. Sansa looked up and without even having to open his mouth pointed down a narrow hallway. With a slight tilt of his head he followed the path.

He arrived in front of a door, an ugly brown that blended in with the walls, a very big contrast to the ugly yellow on the front door. He twisted the handle, not wanting to wait any longer and walked in the room. Every eye turned to look in his direction. Without saying a word he sat down next to endeavor, one of the parents of his student and gave him a sharp nod. Endeavor gave a slight smile.

“I didn’t know you were working today, Eraserhead.” said the gruff man.

“Well, I have a shift later today, but I was specially called into this case because of detective Tsukauchi.” Aizawa said back.

Endeavor chuckled “yeah I was supposed to spend the day with my family on my one day off, but instead I’m here.” Endeavor sighed “I feel like I'm failing them all the time, I work so much and I barely see them anymore.”

“Yeah, but you can’t control that. I like the saying that good parents raise great kids, and let me tell you I have had Shouto in my class for a month so far, and he is a great kid.” Aizawa breathed “It just means you're raising them as best as you can with the circumstance you’re in. I have also met your other son Touya, isn’t it? From what I've seen he’s a damn good pro hero and he gives you a lot of credit. Your kids love you and you do your best, that’s all they can ask for.”

“Yeah you're right, thanks Eraser.”

“Of course, and also if you need time off, I’m sure another hero could fill in for one day, and bring your parents to school day is in a week. Shouto said he was hoping you would be able to come.”

“I’ll make sure to call off work that day and go, I didn’t miss Touya’s and I sure as hell won't miss Shouto’s.” Endeavor said with a small smile.

Before Aizawa could respond the door opened, and Tsukauchi walked in with a phone in his hands and a glare on his face. If looks could kill everyone in the room would be dead.

“Why can;t you just let us borrow one more hero, you’ve got to have someone!” he shouted angrily. Silence, then “yes, yes i’ve got it we’ll take anyone. Great, call me when you’re done and tell me who we can use.” silence, “Thanks.”

Tsukauchi hung up the phone and then looked at the rest of the heroes. “Sorry about that, I’m just trying to get the commission to let me borrow one more hero for this mission, because All Might canceled and now we need someone to fill in the gap.”

“Anyways, today was just supposed to be one of the last times we go over the plan so everyone has it ingrained in their minds, and everyone knows their positions.” Tsukauchi said fastly.

The heroes spent the next two most boring hours of their lives going over the plan one last time, and making a second plan in case they couldn’t get someone to cover for All Might. By the time they finished Aizawa had to leave to get ready for patrol. All he wanted to do was curl up with his husband in their nice apartment with their three cats but no, he spent his whole day doing this bull crap and now he’s even more grumpy than earlier.

He also hadn’t seen Hizashi since morning because his husband had to go to the radio station for work and then by the time he got back Aizawa had left the house already. If aizawa’s suspicions were correct when he got back to the apartment Hiazashi wouldn't be there because this is around the time he normally goes shopping. When he got back to the apartment it seemed like he had been right seeing as there was complete silence in the kitchen area. His three cats did go up to him and he pet them before going to his shared bedroom, and grabbing his goggles and capture weapon before leaving again.

His patrol had been pretty boring like normal, but he did stop a few drug dealers which was pretty good, and it was pretty slow, meaning he got to sit up on the roofs a few times and just relax. He hated busier nights because he barely got breaks, and sometimes it feels like he can’t breathe as he runs so fast and doesn’t get time to stop and catch his breath.

Right as he was about to jump to the next room he heard a crashing sound from down below, and saw two big men trying to grab a woman, and rip her clothes off. As quietly as he could, he jumped down and threw his captured weapon around one of the men and tied him up before going after the second.

The other man who still had mobility, ran straight for Aizawa but before he could reach him he got kicked in the stomach and fell over. The man got back up and went for a punch, but it got blocked, and he dodged another kick to the stomach.

Aizawa was a little impressed. The man wasn’t a bad fighter, he just didn’t throw a hard punch, but he was still better than the man, and after a few more kicks brought him to the ground and held his hands behind his back. He took out his phone and called the police, and proceeded to tie him up before checking on the woman to make sure she was okay.

The woman, rightfully, was shaken but other than that she was not in any pain. The police had arrived as soon as he had helped the woman stand up, and they took the men into the back of the police trucks. Aizawa walked over to talk to them, and asked them to take the woman home so she wouldn’t run into any other trouble tonight.

They allowed her into the police car, and Aizawa looked at his phone to see his shift was finally over. He jumped back up onto the roof and started hopping back to his apartment.

When he opened the door, he was greeted by his three cats once again, and in the distance he saw Hizashi cooking in the kitchen. He walked over quietly and wrapped his arms around Hizashi from behind. He heard a squeak come out of his husband's mouth before he relaxed in the hug. Aizawa kissed Hizashi’s head before letting him go. Hizashi, after turning around, gave Aizawa a kiss on the lips before going back to cooking dinner.

—--------------------------------------------------------------------

Izuku Midoriya really did not want to be called by the commission today. He was supposed to have a day off from the abuse today, but lo and behold somehow he still got called in the head of the commission's office. When he entered she said nothing and pointed at a chair. He looked down cautiously afraid something would happen after sitting in the chair, but alas he sat down and nothing happened.

He looked into the eyes of the commissioner and dreaded the look of amusement in her eyes. “We have a mission for you.”

Izuku groaned inwardly, why does his life have to be like this. Can he not just get one day off from working? I mean come on he is only sixteen years old he is supposed to be enjoying life, not dreading it.

The commissioner continued without waiting for a response “Detective Tsukauchi requested another pro for the stain case, and we picked you because we can’t let another older pro hero join the case.”

Izuku nodded, this should be easy. He just has to go to like two meetings, one to hear about the plans, and two for a debrief, it can't be that hard.

“Oh and one more thing, after this mission, we're gonna start putting you on more. You’re not doing enough to get out there, so we're going to start pairing you up with others who are a little more popular than you. We're hoping your ranking will go up.”

Izuku nodded “yes ma’am.” He sat awkwardly in the chair waiting for her to say something else or dismiss him, but it didn’t come. She just looked down at her paperwork and started writing. It went on like this for another ten minutes, until she paused, feeling eyes on her and looked up.

“What are you still doing here, go away!” she yelled.

Understanding his que to leave he jumped out of his seat and ran out of the door. Not looking back once.

—----------------------------------------------------------------

Izuku, holding the yellow slip of paper with a location on it, arrived upon an ugly yellow door. Who the hell invented a color like this and why is it on a door? He walked in nonetheless to see officers working at their desks. He already wasted half of his dignity to get here, when he asked three people how to get there, so why not waste some more, he walked up to the first officer he saw, which happened to be a cat.

“Hello, sir.” he said hesitantly

The tired man blinked up at him “hello? Can I help you with something?”  he said dismissively

“Well, um I was assigned to the stain case and was told to come here, so if you point me in the direction of the room I would need to go to that would be great.”

“Uhuh and you look how old, ten?”

“Hey! I’m sixteen for that matter, and I really am here for the stain case. I got sent by the commission because All Might quit on them half way through.”

“Hero license please.”

“Oh yeah right…..” Izuku fumbled in his pocket for a minute. He pulled out the paper….a pair of scissors, a pen, and his phone, before finally picking up the license. “Here it is…” he said sheepishly.

The officer did not look amused, but he still picked up the I.D and scanned it once, then twice, then three times…..He looked back up at Izuku with furrowed eyebrows.

“It went through….hero name please?”

“Eostrix.”

“Date of birth….”

“July fifteenth, twenty-one thirty-four”

“Huh…..seems correct. Down the hallway there's a door at the end, go through it and you will find the others who are also on the case.”

“Great…thanks.” izuku said before grabbing his hero licence back and walking down the hallway. What's with people and not believing he is a pro hero? Shaking his head he walked up to the brown door, and opened it. Inside were about eight or so pro heroes, who all had their eyes trained on him. He probably looked stupid holding a coffee, with how short he is, so he just put his head down and sat in the only open seat….. The one next to Eraserhead.

The man stared at him for a second longer before going back to his quiet conversation with Endeavor. Izuku had a few run-ins with the man and he seemed nice enough. The man in question turned to look at Izuku and gave him a small smile. Izuku tried to quirk his lips up, but to no avail. He hadn’t been able to smile since he was four.

Endeavor noticed the struggle to smile and just gave an understanding look before turning away to give the young boy space.

Izuku still felt the others eyes on him, but he paid them no mind, he knew they thought he looked weird because he was small and young, but he really didn’t care that much, for fucks sake he had been forced to sit in an electric chair  screaming, and thrashing begging to be let out, some eyes on him shouldn’t bother him.

He was snapped out of his thoughts when the door opened again and a man walked in, probably detective Tsukauchi he mused to himself. The man sat down and let his eyes wander over everyone and paused on Izuku.

“You the new hero subbing in for All Might?”

“Yes sir, I’m Eostrix.” Izuku stood up and walked over to the man to shake his hand. Everyone was looking at him weirdly. Izuku paid no mind, he had always been taught to shake the hands of new people because it makes you look kinder.

Tsukauchi took the boy's hand and shook it “nice to meet you, I’m detective Tsukauchi, you’re pretty young no?”  the man said with a small smile.

Izuku chuckled but it sounded forced. “I’ve been told that a lot. I’m sixteen, and I went through the commission test like everyone else. I’ve had my licence since fourteen so I like to say I'm plenty experienced.”

Tsukauchi whistles “that’s impressive, and I wasn’t worried about the experience if the commission sent you for such a big mission they definitely trust you, therefore I’m going to put my trust in you.”

“Okay why don’t you tell me about this plan.”

Tsukauchi nodded “right, go sit down and I’ll grab you the paper with your job and location so you can study it over the weekend before we go after him. If you have any ideas you would like to add feel free to cut in. We're not quite sure where his location will be exactly yet but we're gonna discuss that today.”

Izuku nodded and sat back down in his seat, pulling the paper in front of him and scanning it quickly. One of the best parts of his quirk was having good eyesight and being able to retain information quickly. It was perfect for cases like this. He looked up and nodded at the detective prompting him to continue.

“Well, as you have already seen from the paper we gave you, your position will be from the north of where Stain is. We’re gonna have three heroes not including you in south, west and east positions, and you will all on command, run out at the same time and ambush. While Stain is distracted fighting you we will have Eraserhead run out and tie him up. The goal of this mission is to make it as short and quick as possible.”

Izuku nodded, “if there's one thing I am good at it is doing missions quickly.”

“Now we all know his quirk is paralyzing based on drinking blood, we don’t have any information on how fast the paralyzed person will be mobile again, or where he is going to be in two days when we attack. The objective for today is to figure out all of that stuff by observations people have made.”

“Well he normally spends two days in each area before transferring, and moves west by three areas so my guess is Osaka.” Eraserhead said.

“I don’t think he’ll be in Osaka, he was there a week ago, he normally doesn’t go back.” Endeavor replies.

Everyone else decided to pitch in their opinions while Izuku was listening. The room was increasingly getting louder.

“Umm…if I may.” Izuku quieted the room, “I actually think he will be in Hosu in two days. He doesn’t actually always move West though it may seem. He moves north by one area, then west by three. He went from Sendai to Osaka, so the next logical place would be Hosu. Also for your question on the blood quirk mobility the most logical assumption would be how much blood he drinks, but I personally think it’s based on blood type. We have the example of Edgeshot and Ryukyu. Ryukyu said Stain only got a lick of her blood and she was immobile for thirty minutes, while Edgeshot said he almost died from the amount of blood stain drank and only went immobile for ten minutes. Edgeshot has type O blood while Ryukyu has AB positive. The immobility is based on how rare the blood type is, seeing as O is the rarest and people have been immobile for the least amount of time.”

Everyone gaped at him, as his face turned bright red. “ummm….I mean well that might not be correct, I could be completely wrong……um I’ll shut up now.”

Aizawa was the first to calm down from shock “No kid that was…..”

“Creepy.”

Silence

“I was gonna say impressive, I mean you’re only sixteen. It would be illogical to say anything other than that. You just gave good analysis in a room of pro heroes who have been working for years, who would never be able to do what you just did.”

“Oh…Thanks.”

Tsukauchi cleared his throat. “Well lets go off of what Eostrix said and plan to be in Hosu, we’ll meet up in two days time in this exact place at the same time to prepare. We’ll all head together to Hosu and find the most likely place Stain would show up in, and we’ll put our hero trap out.”

All the heroes in the room nodded.

“Dismissed.” Tsukauchi Said.

One by one all of the pro heroes left the room heading home, but Izuku stayed for a few extra minutes loitering around trying to waste time, so he had time away from the commission, but after a few weird looks from Tsukauchi who was waiting for him to leave he hurried and ran out of the room, heading back to base.
