Work Text:
Right now Dean is sitting on the front porch of his farmhouse he bought with Cas. The house sits in the middle of rural Kansas. Far enough away from the city to be quiet, yet close enough to have Sunday morning walks at a local farmers market. He can hear the crickets chirping away. The sun has already gone down which paints the sky as a dark kind of purple blue. Cas is sitting right next to him pressed against his arm. His head is perched on his shoulder. Cas’s hair tickles Deans neck. Everything is perfect. There are no worries no more waiting for the shoe to drop. Just unimaginable peace. Peace that is perfectly imperfect. Dean finally has everything he has ever wanted. He gets the soft nights and lazy mornings. The soft kisses and another hand in his. So right now is good.
