Sticky Toffee Cookies (or cake) or Americanized Sticky Toffee Pudding
Ingredients:
8 tablespoons of butter, room temperature
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons of vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups of almond flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 bag (about 2-3 cups) of toffee chips.
Steps:
1: Cream butter with vanilla and both types of sugar.
2: mix dry ingredients separately until combined.
3: crack eggs in creamed mixture and mix until vaguely porridge looking texture.
4: begin adding dry ingredients a little at a time and mix until a cake like mix comes together.
5: mixing in slow the entire bag of toffee chips.
6: bake on baking paper lined baking sheet as 1-2 dozen cookies for 10-12 minutes or in a greased pie pan as a cake 18-25 minutes at 350*F
Teeth Shockingly Sweet, and in no way British
