When Mia entered the kitchen, rubbing her eyes sleepily, Jason nearly dropped his spatula at the sight of her. She was wearing his shirt from last night and quite possibly nothing else, thought it was impossible to tell, as the shirt was so big on her that it went halfway to her knees. He quickly recovered and started flipping pancakes (banana and chocolate chip, her favorite) while she yawned and walked around the kitchen island to come up behind him and wrap her arms around his waist, hugging him tight and soaking up his body heat.
Jason turned down the flames on the stove and spun in Mia’s arms, laughing at her whine over being moved. He put one hand on her waist and one on her cheek, leaning in to kiss her hotly, morning breath be damned. After a minute they parted for air and he leaned down to kiss at her neck, making her giggle when his hair tickled her cheek.
“What’s got you so feisty this morning Jay?”
He pushed her back into the island with a little growl. “You look good in my clothes.”
He started sliding his hand up under the shirt, satisfied to find that no, she really wasn’t wearing anything else, and grabbed the backs of Mia’s thighs to lift her up onto the counter. Mia sighed in pleasure as he started kissing and biting at her collarbones.
“I thought we were supposed to be eating breakfast?”
“Well I’m about to be eating something thats for sure”
Mia giggled high and bright at that. She was always a sucker for his terrible lines. Jason smiled and leaned his forehead against hers, just taking a moment to breathe with each other.
“Jason.”
“Mhm? What?”
“Aren’t you forgetting something?”
“I don’t think so…?”
“The pancakes are burning.”
“SHIT!”
