Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Chapter Text

Since Makarov was released from prison, Task Force 141 has been putting in all their efforts to track him down so they can catch him and return him where he belongs. Laswell had received information from one of his contacts in the Middle East, who he had suspected for some time that he might be a mole.

The information was that Makarov might be in an abandoned hospital outside of Al Mazrha, Urzikstan. Even though the information might be false, he told Price and his team about it. But they reacted effusively, wanting to go investigate immediately, despite Laswell's warnings that it might be a trap, they decided to go anyway.

Price and his pack of alphas were not in their best moment, recently the omega that had been assigned to them decided to abandon them due to a mistake and their morale was at bottom. He needed him and his team to cheer up, and a stroke of luck would not hurt them. Blinded by rage and sadness, he made the hasty decision that it was the information that could be false that Laswell had mentioned to them.

When they arrived at the location via helicopter, the 141 pack could see that the hospital had 3 floors and a main entrance in the center of the building. Upon entering, everything that could go wrong, did. When they entered, there was a large hallway full of rooms and a large door in front that said "emergency exit" and next to it a staircase that led to the second floor, and the place had suffered from the passage of time, dirty and full of worn-out furniture and medical equipment. They decided to split up into teams to cover more territory. Price and Gaz would go up to the next floor, while Ghost and Soap would search the place where they were already. At first, they found nothing, there was no trace of Makarov and his men.

Until Gaz stepped on a tile and a trap was activated, a stun bomb had appeared out of nowhere, forcing him and Price to retreat to the first floor. The place was full of traps, they would have to be careful to get out of there alive. When they gathered back in front of the entrance, they began to draw up a plan to get out of there through the emergency exit, when suddenly 3 armed men entered, they did not look like Konni agents , but rather, they were local mercenaries.

It was an ambush in an abandoned building full of traps. Price and Soap immediately began shooting at the newcomers, Gaz tried to join them, but he had received the grenade full on and was still stunned and ended up receiving two shots in his chest, although cushioned by his bulletproof vest, the impact forced him to fall back to the ground. When they had finished with the enemies, Ghost helped him to get up.

—Can you walk? —said Ghost as he watched Gaz nod. —Let's get out of here. —he finished commenting as he opened the emergency exit door.

Behind the hospital, they could only see a large house, most likely used for the medical staff to take their breaks. While they were thinking about how to proceed, they heard more voices coming from the hospital, so they quickly ran to the house to take shelter. Upon arriving, they made sure there were no traps, and barricaded themselves there.

They took positions at the windows and doors, observing that they were surrounded by mercenaries, there were snipers on the roof of the hospital, any false step they took from this moment could result in a catastrophe, Price decided to communicate with Laswell through his communicator.

—Laswell, this is Price. You were right, the information was false and it turned out to be an ambush. Now we are surrounded and we cannot make any movement at the moment. I request reinforcements. —said Price holding his weapon angrily. After a few minutes, a woman's voice was heard.

—Laswell here. I don't have any agent available at the moment, Farah and Alex are on a mission after some missiles. Although I have someone nearby who can help you, even though you might not appreciate his help very much. —Laswell finished saying.

—We can see about that later, for now the objective is for the 141st to get out of this place quickly. —Price answered, bewildered by the last thing he said, who could be the person Laswell was referring to, he thought to himself.

—Give me an hour at most. —Laswell thus cutting off communication. All that was left was to watch and wait.

It had been 20 minutes since the time Laswell had promised and his team was already impatient, with a fervent desire to leave that abandoned place. Out of nowhere, a voice from a man unknown to everyone was heard from Price's communicator.

—Hello, hello, hello. I hope you're having a beautiful day. Wait, is this working? —you said in a playful tone, then it gave way to interference, as if someone was moving the microphone roughly with their hands. His entire team looked at their Captain with strange eyes. After a few seconds, Price decided to respond to the unknown voice.

—Who are you and why are you on this private channel? —Price said annoyed, the day couldn't go worse, first they went into a trap, and now they had to be saved by someone who seemed not to know what he was doing. You answered, ignoring Price's demand.

—Look Captain, this is the plan. In a few minutes I will blow up the hospital with a series of explosions, when the first one goes off, you will take advantage of the distraction and flee to the northeast, where a helicopter will be waiting for you at an extraction point. —you said sounding totally proud of your plan.

—What the hell did he just say? —said Ghost , also irritated by the whole situation.

It was a totally crazy plan, but just before Price was going to protest your plan, the first explosion was heard that shook the ground of the place for a few moments. With no other option, the Task Force 141 quickly exited through the back of the house. Shooting their way through the enemies who were distracted by the sight of the hospital being blown to pieces, they began their escape towards the address they had been given, when suddenly, a deafening gunshot was heard near the group. Price, who was leading the way, turned around and saw Gaz, who had been left behind, being surrounded by two men, and then heard another explosion, but this time closer, so his vision was clouded by dust and debris, separating him from his beloved Gaz .

—We have to go back, —he ordered in the form of a growl, to the rest of his pack. When out of nowhere the mysterious voice came back on his communicator.

—Captain, I'll take care of your man, you should continue as the plan was established, —you said, calm, waiting for an answer worthy of a leader in a way.

—I won't leave anyone behind, —Price said in a desperate growl. Your inner omega cringed inside, feeling very small, hearing the angry and desperate alpha. But you weren’t going to let that scare you.

—Don’t worry, I’ll get your man to you safe. Unless you want to make another mistake, and compromise your entire team this time, —you said with a small laugh at the end and a hint of venom in your tone.

You didn't hear anything else through your communicator, so you assumed that Price would continue with your plan. From the northwest, you sneaked up on the big house and saw Gaz being cornered against the wall by two men, the dust had already settled so you could clearly see what was happening.

You knew that their mission was to capture them alive, so you calmly hid behind a large rock. You took your combat bow that was on your back and also grabbed an arrow from your quiver. You drew the string of your bow with the arrow and aimed at one of the men and released the arrow, hitting one of the men squarely in the head, then repeated the action and got the remaining man.

You quickly approached Gaz and asked him if he was okay. He looked at you with wide eyes, for him, it should be a rather comical situation. The mercenaries who had shot at him and then cornered him were shot down by a man who was lucky to be 1.65 m (5' 4") tall, dressed in a tight black one-piece suit, and wearing a helmet that had about 6 red contact lenses, 3 in each eye, simulating the eyes of a spider.

—Yes, but I think that I’ll have trouble walking, I was shot in the leg, —Gaz replied, trying not to laugh at the hilarious situation he found himself in. You placed your bow on your back and pressed a button hidden on your wrist. Another explosion instantly rang out, completely destroying the hospital. You settled down next to him and offered him your shoulder to help him walk. He put his arm around your neck and you began to walk in the direction you were coming from. It was all so awkward. It had been a while since you were so close to an alpha and your omega was getting impatient.

After walking a few meters towards a road, you saw your truck that was getting closer and closer. When you got there with Gaz , you helped him sit in the passenger seat and then you turned around to sit in the driver's seat, you took off your helmet and threw it towards the back seats without any care. You turned your head to look at Gaz , who was putting pressure on his leg wound.

—We'll move forward a little and I'll take care of your wound, —you told him when you started the truck and began to walk. After about 20 minutes of driving, you parked on the side of the long road, then got out and helped Gaz do the same. You placed him in the back of the truck, and from the back, you took out a large first aid kit. Gaz raised an eyebrow, as he watched you start to work and out of the corner of his eye he saw everything that your first aid kit contained.

—I hope you know what you're doing. —Gaz said as he swallowed, and watched you rip the bottom of his pants with a pair of scissors.

—Nah, honestly, it's my first time doing this —you answered with a giggle and a hint of sarcasm. While you observed that the bullet wasn't that deep and you could take it out with tweezers, without needing an operation, you began to sterilize your hands and a tweezers with alcohol, then clean and do the same with Gaz 's wound.

—This is going to hurt a little, but you're already big so you don't need anesthesia. —you told him as you put the tweezers in position and began to extract the bullet. Gaz tensed up and began to complain as he felt the tweezers poking around in his wound, after a while you heard him speak.

—Your suit is showy, is it? —he said when the bullet was already out of it and you began to suture the wound.

—It's to distract the enemy, or did you see something you liked? —you asked him while winking at him and finishing bandaging the wound. His scent reached you out of nowhere, it smelled like a pine forest, and it had hints of him being a little embarrassed by the last thing you said to him, your omega hadn't been happy with the attention of an alpha for a while, but you forced him to hide deep inside you.

Then, while you took out a vial of painkiller and a syringe, to start preparing the injection, Gaz said. —You look like an omega, but you smell like a Beta, weird, right? —Gaz said while smelling you.

—It must be because I'm a Beta —you answered while tapping the syringe with your finger to remove any remaining bubbles.

—Now be a good boy, and lie down on your side and pull your pants down to your butt — you finished telling him, seeing that he looked at you surprised by your request —Don't worry, it won't be the first good-looking boy's ass I've seen — you said between laughs, while you saw Gaz get into the position you requested, to then adjust the needle and inject him with the medicine. —We're ready. —you told him while you threw away everything you used in a bag that said "waste", and then handed him a crutch to support himself while walking.

—Thank you very much... By the way, I don't know your name, or call sign, if you have one, of course —he told you while he settled in and began to walk towards the passenger seat. Nervous, you began to quickly look around, searching for anything that would give you an idea. You didn't want to give him your code name; you highly doubted you would ever see him again. Deep in thought, you saw a can of soda lying at the back of your truck and you answered.

—Bubbles, that's my code name, —you said as you tried to compose yourself and finished putting everything away, to sit back down in the driver's seat.

Out of nowhere, before you started the truck, Gaz 's communicator started ringing. —Gaz, can you hear me? This is Price, what's your status and position? —Price was heard saying worried, but still maintaining his composure.

—Gaz here , I'm fine, Laswell's friend helped me and treated my wound, now we're in his truck on the road. —he finished saying while turning his head to look at you.

—I'll bring you closer to the position of the base where they are, and we'll separate there —you told him, hoping this would end soon. In the end you were only doing this for Kate, she took you out of your well-deserved rest to help her with the Makarov matter and you ended up being a babysitter, when you finished speaking, Gaz 's communicator was heard again , but this time a different voice sounded, with an accent.

—Bro, I'm glad you're okay, we were worried — Soap said , effusive because the member of his pack will be fine. —I'll be home —Gaz finished saying .

After a moment your communicator started to ring. —Kate here. —It was your friend —Before you continue Kate, —l'm not alone —you warned Kate, hoping she wouldn't say anything that would compromise you, Gaz raised an eyebrow at you, most likely because you called his boss by her name.

—Everything went well, now I'll take Gaz to his base, and I'll go to my camp to wait for new instructions. —You said, already tired of this whole situation.

—Don't worry, I'll give you the instructions now, go get your things at your camp and head to the base, I'll be waiting for you there. Over and out. —Kate finished saying, while you brought your hands together, covering your face, you made a scream, which was muffled by your hands, then returned your hands to the wheel and said.

—Shit. —you said it to yourself, but you were sure that Gaz had heard you. You were sure of what Kate wanted, for you to help the Task Force 141 on their mission to stop Makarov. The worst part of it all was that you couldn't refuse, you owed that woman a lot. You started driving towards your camp, already stressing out in advance about everything that was coming your way.
