“Aw, it's raining…”Usagi whined”And I forgot my umbrella” She pouted. Seiya, who had his umbrella out and open, looked at Usagi”We can walk together under mine?”He offered.
“Usako, here”Mamoru said as they pulled out a pink umbrella with little rabbits”You borrowed it to me last time” They said with a smile giving it back to the blonde. Usagi took the umbrella”Oh yeah, I forgot, sorry Mamo”
The girl opened the umbrella and went into the rain. She looked to Mamoru for a moment and pouted”But it's too small for both of us” She then perked up”Oh! You can walk together with Seyia under his, right Seiya?” She looked to her classmate who was still standing under the roof with his umbrella open.
Seyia looked to Mamoru who was glaring at him. Mamoru thought for a moment looking at Usagi, after a moment they sighed”Seiya?” The idol grinned and made space for Mamoru under his umbrella. Mamoru walked up to Seiya and stood under the umbrella, not necessarily happy with said arrangement.

Usagi happily walked, Mamoru and Seiya under one umbrella behind her. The three were nearing Usagi's house. The blonde girl hummed happily.
Once they were in front of the gate to the house”I can borrow you my umbrella again, Mamo” Usagi offered. Mamoru shook their head with a smile”Usako, I'm fine walking with Seiya” they glanced at the blue haired idol holding the umbrella”I won't bite him”
Usagi sighed”Alright” She stepped closer and stood on her toes. Usagi kissed Mamoru on the cheek and smiled”See you tomorrow then, Mamo”
She stepped away and waved to Seiya”See you tomorrow too, Seiya” Seiya waved to Usagi”See ya, Bun Head”
Usagi walked through the gate and stood in front of the house under the roof drying her umbrella a little. Mamoru smiled and said”I love you, Usako” Usagi jumped up, a little startled. She grinned to Mamoru and replied”I love you too, Mamo” After that Usagi went inside the house.

Seiya and Mamoru were walking in silence, neither of them knowing what to talk about. Mamoru fixed their grip on their schoolbag. The black haired Guardian noticed Seiya shivered. Mamoru sighed and pulled Seiya closer to them.
“Woah! Chiba?” Seiya yelped surprised at Mamoru's action. Mamoru gripped the idol’s arm, preventing him from getting away”Your shoulder is wet from the rain, isn't it?”
“Huh?” Seiya glanced at his shoulder”I guess it is” He looked at Mamoru”But how did you know and why did you pull me close? Do you like me?”Seiya asked, the last question said playfully. Mamoru elbowed Seiya”You shivered and Usagi would complain if you got sick” They dodged the last question.
“Aw so you care about me?” Seiya said, losing his grip on the umbrella. Mamoru glared at Seiya”Hold the umbrella correctly or I'll actually bite you” That was an empty threat, though Seiya didn't know. He yelped and corrected his grip on the umbrella.
Seiya laughed nervously at Mamoru's threat”So how close is your house?” Before Mamoru could answer, their phone vibrated. They took it out, the device decorated with various charms, most of them from Usagi. As soon as they saw what's on the screen they pocketed it”Can I stay at your house tonight?”
“Huh? What's with the question?”
“I'd ask Usagi but we're pretty far from her house plus I think I remember your house being close, no?” Mamoru answered, looking at Seiya”I mean I guess? Taiki and Yaten won't mind but why?” Seiya asked. Mamoru looked down”I'd be alone tonight…” Was the only thing they said. Seiya tried to guess why Usagi's partner might be alone tonight but his mind came up blank.

Mamoru and Seiya were on the couch in the living room playing a combat game”Aw come on”Seiya exclaimed as he struggled to win against Mamoru.
Suddenly the front door opened”Seiya! We're home!”That was the moment the blue haired idol got distracted and Mamoru won. Seiya pouted”Lost again? You sure you didn't play this in the past?”
Mamoru shook their head”Nope” Yaten walked into the living room”Oh? Chiba is visiting us? Your fans would go crazy if they knew you had a visitor, Seiya”Yaten teased. Seiya sighed”I don't particularly care, Yaten. Besides Chiba is staying here tonight” Yaten’s gaze went to Mamoru who was occupied on their phone.
“Where will they sleep then?”Taiki asked as he walked into the living room. Seiya hummed”I actually didn't think about it” Mamoru looked up from their phone”I can sleep on the couch” They said. The three idols looked at Mamoru.
“No way, you're sleeping with me”said Seiya. As soon as the words left their mouth Yaten smirked”Seiya~” Seiya’s cheeks went red. Taiki chuckled”Yaten don't tease him” Seiya cleared their throat”What I meant was…”A pause”I'll let you sleep in my bed and I'll sleep on the couch” Yaten let out a chuckle”Nice save”
Mamoru blinked a few times and tilted their head”I wouldn't mind sleeping in one bed Seiya, it's just one night” Seiya scrambled to gather his thoughts”But you don't like me”
“Who said that I don't like you?” Mamoru asked. Seiya pointed at Mamoru”You? Literally the first time we met? I think it was like ‘I don't like you, stay away from Usagi’”
Yaten smirked and added”Oh and you said ‘Do you like me? Are you one of my fans?’ and Chiba-”
“I think that's enough Yaten”Taiki put his palm over Yaten's mouth”Besides it's getting late, we should be going to sleep.

Mamoru laid in Seiya's bed next to him as they couldn't sleep. They grabbed the star shaped pendant of their necklace and looked at it. Mamoru remembered when it was teardrop shaped, when Mamoru and Usagi just met, when all of the fighting began.
Seiya shifted”Can't sleep?” He propped his head on his hand. Mamoru looked at Seiya, letting go of the pendant”Yeah…” Seiya hummed. He shifted again”Do you want to cuddle? Maybe that'll help you sleep?”Seiya offered. Mamoru considered and after a moment of silence”Yeah…”
Seiya shifted and outstretched his arms”Come here, Pretty Fox” Mamoru huffed at the nickname. Usagi once said Mamoru reminded them of a fox and the habit of sometimes calling Mamoru a fox stuck between the Guardians and it seemed Seiya caught on too.
Mamoru shifted closer to Seiya and laid their head on his chest”Comfy?”Seiya asked. Mamoru hummed in response. Seiya yawned.
“Seiya?”
“Yeah?” He answered with a yawn.
“I lied”A pause”I like you”Mamoru yawned, their eyes getting heavier.
Seiya smiled”I like you too, Chiba”
After a moment both of them fell asleep.
