Bones and scales

Summary:

The dragons of the End like to play with what they consider to be theirs. And Technoblade has yet to experience that.

(My once-promised sequel to the Wither!Technoblade and Ender Dragon!Dream one-shot.)

Notes:

I Live! Here, have this one shot before I disappear again for an unknown amount of time as usual.

Work Text:

Sometimes Techno wondered what Dream saw in him when he decided to take him to the End.

There are a handful of dragons here - they lie lazily on the towers near the portal, waiting for the otherworlders, and grumpily paw their younger siblings when they start biting their tails in play. Almost all of them are in their bestial forms, stretching out their wings and diluting the silence around them with flaps.

Dream doesn't particularly like it when he flies far away from his tower. Even though all the dragons here are like family, they're still terribly possessive, and Technoblade loses track of how often he growls low at him as if warning that he's too far away. The others occasionally glance at him, showing elongated reptilian pupils in huge eyes of many different colors, but quickly lose interest, only turning their heads and continuing to sleep.

The Wither obediently returns to Dream's tower, who immediately covers him with a huge leather wing. Even his skulls, still functioning but covered in a mesh of cracks since the dragon crumbled them, are possessively drawn, along with his body, to the crystal-heated scales that shines measuredly above the tower.

The End is a chilly enough world in its own right. Dry, but chilly. Dragons are comfortable because of the flames that warm them inside, but like any reptile, they love heat, willing to bask for hours, if not days, on warm surfaces.

Crystals are perfect for this. They aren't bright enough to blind the eyes, but underneath their shells, liquid flames are always shimmering, warming anyone nearby.

Technoblade twitches his bony tail and it flicks its segments low, conveying his confusion.

The End is quiet... and empty. Endermans still appear here and there, returning from other worlds, but even they do not risk disturbing the peace of the dragons. There are no more humans here, their civilization was burned out centuries ago when they decided to go against the guardians of this world, but Techno still finds occasional shards of murals, arrowheads, and pieces of clay that may have once been vases.

That is, of course, until Dream grumbles and calls him back to his side.

Dragons prove to be remarkably lazy creatures when they aren't making all three worlds tremble with their fury and melt with their flames.

One of the cubs, Tommy, if Technoblade understood correctly, climbed up the tower a little awkwardly and poked his muzzle under Dream's wing, looking up at him with curious blue eyes. Skulls wheezed warningly and his tail flicked its bony plates, warding off the small reptile.

The older dragon responds by nudging him lightly with a paw as if telling him to play nice, and the Wither backs away.
The cub, pleased with the permission, immediately slips under the wing completely, sneezes smoke, and settles under Dream's side, eyeing him expectantly.

Though there's plenty of room for the two of them, Techno feels a pang of jealousy when he sees how easily Tommy has squeezed him, almost pushing him out from under the other's wings. Bone spurs crackle, and the cub playfully dilates his pupils, flooding his irises with black and cocking his head to the obsidian as if he's ready to pounce at any moment. His tail wags from side to side and a rumbling purr erupts from his chest.

"I want to play!" Tommy declares in the language of the void, and his torso moves in a catlike manner, ready to jump.

One of the skulls wheezes warningly again.

It's not serious, because he won't lose his temper when Dream's surging chest is so close, but he's still hoping it will scare off the bratty cub.

His hope is crushed to dust again when Tommy only rumbles and throws himself at the skull, clasping it between his paws and clearly enjoying the way it tries to break free and fly back to its owner. He plays with it, even opening his mouth to try to taste and salivate on it again, and Techno's bony tail whips around irritably.

 That little gremlin.

Tommy squints his eyes contentedly, flaps his wings, and swishes his tail, continuing to hold the viciously wheezing skull in his front paws and kicking it with his hind paws. The suffering, crack-covered skull tried to bite his nose.

Dream turned slightly and his wing lifted, allowing a sleepy muzzle to peek inside. He examined them with green bright eyes and exhaled a cloud of purple smoke in Tommy's direction. The cub immediately squealed enthusiastically and released his toy, instead leaping onto the older dragon's scales, trying to catch the disappearing sparks.

And then he covered them completely with his wing again and Technoblade let out a low, disgruntled hum when he didn't get any attention. The skulls, sensing his mood, hissed in an otherworldly way and the tail whipped at the obsidian with such force that if the material had been any less strong it would have cracked.

Tommy continued to fiddle with the fading sparks.

Dream had claimed Techno as his own the last time they fought, so why was this gremlin getting more attention?!

When the smoke cleared, the cub's attention turned back to him. Especially his tail, which continued to flick angrily from side to side.

He bent over again, preparing to jump and the Wither snarled at him, barely restraining the urge to just kick him out from under Dream's wings.

But neither Tommy nor Techno did what they wanted, as the next moment the ground of the End shook slightly, as impossible as it sounded (it was an island in the middle of nowhere after all) and the dragons from the various towers immediately let out a loud howl, opening their wings and stretching their necks upwards.

Dream, despite his sleepy state, was no exception, stretching out and no longer hiding them beneath him. The dragons seemed pleased by this phenomenon, and Technoblade tilted his head, seeing it for the first time.

Even little Tommy flapped his wings enthusiastically as well and added a couple of subtle notes to the general roar along with the other cubs.

The Wither had never seen such behavior in the few months he'd been here, so for a moment he decided to put his outbursts of jealousy and resentment aside, instead also gazing out into the vast night sky, dotted with the cold lights of stars.

Something was coming down, floating lightly in the air, fluttering the ends of its wide clothes that looked more like robes and the many strips of golden fabric that followed it like rivers of liquid gold.

The dragons watched intently, with eager anticipation, as if greeting a dear guest or some member of the family.

However, the lower the incomprehensible creature descended, the clearer it became that it was not a guardian of the End. At least, not like the dragons.

The creature was tall, with three pairs of arms, sharp antlers on its head that were covered with vines, and a long, thin tail with a huge tassel at the end. He seemed to be a hybrid of several species, but Techno had never seen someone so unusual in his entire life. On his face was a blank, flat mask, without any eye or mouth holes, crossed over in the middle.

He didn't hold it for long. As soon as his bare feet hit the yellow earth of the End, the mask literally fell apart, revealing an asymmetrical face with three completely black eyes on one side and only one on the other, skin covered in various symbols that flickered ominously with greenish light, and a mouth that tried to mimic a dragon's maw.

It was the strangest hybrid Technoblade had ever seen. Not to mention it looked like someone's failed experiment.

So why was Dream looking at it so enthusiastically? Yes, all dragons looked that way, but Dream had him! Why would he want someone else?

The skulls hissed unhappily again, but the dragons had already flown down, leaving him alone on the tower. He had no choice but to follow them.

He stood near Dream's tail, noticing how it twitched slightly, but generally did nothing else. The dragon didn't even look at him, staring only at the distorted creature in front of him.

Tommy swiftly climbed onto Dream's back, and he easily yanked his wings to throw him off. It really didn't diminish the cub's energy.

"XD!" he shouted in the language of the void, and two pairs of asymmetrical eyes focused on the reptile's small body.

Even though the creature in front of them resembled a human in some parts, the dragons did not turn into their smaller forms, though Techno saw that sometimes they did so even without much reason. They bowed their heads and tried to rub themselves against XD like huge cats, rumbling and sniffing him from all sides.

The Wither had to squelch another flash of jealousy inside when Dream did the same thing, stretching his neck out and poking his head into another's hands.

"Tommy!" the creature called out and the cub immediately threw himself into his arms, even knowing he was too big for the strange hybrid to hold him. "You've grown!"

To Techno's surprise, this XD picked up the little gremlin easily enough. With one hand, too.

Tommy immediately stuck out his chest in pride and the other cubs hissed in offense, demanding his attention.

 The creature giggled.

 "I brought a present!"

He snapped his fingers and something flashed sharply in the sky as if someone had torn the space with claws for a moment, opening a portal. Something strange came out of it, smacking wetly against the ground, and upon closer inspection, Techno recognized it as a mountain of flesh and various corpses.

The dragons were at the meat almost instantly, greedily snatching up whole bodies and cocking their heads skyward in an attempt to swallow them.

Dream still stood by his side, not making a move toward the treat.

His stillness drew the strange hybrid's attention and he slowly approached, moving as if he were floating on air without touching the ground. The golden pieces of cloth continued to flow behind him in rivers of gold.

The gaze of completely black eyes stopped on him and the skulls immediately hissed as he grinned towards the incomprehensible creature.

XD was beside him in a flash, easily lifting him by the neck.

"Hmm. I sense the Void in you... But you are not a pureblood. You have the fire of the Nether mixed into you."

His tail whipped around, threatening to tear the aggressor apart, but even the strongest of his blows failed to pierce the hybrid's skin.

Dream ducked his head and growled.

"XD. He's mine. I won't let you kill him." Void's tongue sounded as cold as ever and despite his previous joy at the encounter, the dragon immediately began to look warningly threatening.

His skulls began to gather black energy, preparing to attack and his bony outgrowths began to snap conveying the hostility of their owner. The creature's eyes squinted as if he found this behavior amusing. The claws of one hand dug lightly into the grayish skin of Techno's face while XD itself leaned a little closer, licking its lips with an unnaturally long black tongue.

"Too bad. He would have been a delicious treat." The hybrid's face spread into a predatory grin as his jaws nearly split his face in two.

Dream growled again, and XD finally let him go, giving him one last pat on the shoulder.

 "What's your name?"

The Wither snarled, but one look from Dream made him obediently relax his face, and quiet the skulls wheezing nearby.

 "Technoblade."

XD looked at him strangely, and then tried the air with his tongue, tasting the stranger's name. Techno remembered Dream had done pretty much the same thing when they met.

Was this something normal for the inhabitants of the End?

"This is the God of the Void," the dragon twitched his wings unhappily when XD didn't even think to introduce himself. "He created the End and the very first guardians to protect it."

Techno said nothing, only flicked his bony tail, keeping his eyes on the hybrid. He had proven himself to be a dangerous creature before, and now that he had the title of deity added to it...

The Wither had never seen a god before. When he first opened his eyes, the only thing he knew was the desire to destroy and kill, and his victims had never been stupid enough to try to talk to him.

It was later, after centuries of wandering the worlds without meaning, that he began to notice the remnants of the void in his body that told him that he had once been created with her help. And that was why speaking her language was so easy. Though, as Dream pointed out to him later, his pronunciation wasn't perfect, as if he had created some sort of accent that had never existed before.
There hadn't been any non-pure-blooded creatures of the void before. That one did not like to share her creations and tended to absorb any foreign interference.

An exception was made only for the few Withers she gave to the Nether, in exchange for its flames for her crystals.

"Your presence here is unusual." XD finally said and reached a hand toward Dream's horns, scratching between them and earning a low rumble with those actions.

The dragon may have been angry with him a few moments before, but their relationship was clearly much stronger to be ruined just because of that. Techno ignored how unpleasant that realization was.

"But since you belong to Dream, I won't touch you." Apparently feeling that this was a great honor, the deity nodded his head majestically and swept his tail tassel around.

It turned its head and floated towards the other dragons eating meat.

Technoblade's skulls wheezed, snapping its jaws. He had to push them away slightly with his hand to get them to stop making noise and looming ever so slightly in front of his eyes.

Dream looked towards XD as if about to join the meal as well and the Wither frowned. Except for those couple of seconds, he didn't have this dragon's attention again.

Which brings him back to the question... Why did he even need him in the first place?

The mark of the void proudly blackens on his skin, a symbol of belonging, but nothing has changed since he got it. Dream had brought him here, he didn't like him flying far away, but what then? Or was he just looking for someone as a toy for his little siblings?

It's frustrating for some reason. Techno remembers that feeling of adrenaline in his magic when he fought Dream, that elation when everything around him was drowning in flames and explosions, that heavy breathing when the dragon opened its jaws intending to rip his head off. Those memories warm somewhere inside, even though he lost that fight.

The Wither is not ashamed that the victory did not belong to him. Dream had shown him his power, earned his right to assert his authority over him, and he accepted it easily enough. With someone weaker, he would have tried to fight back, wheezing, lashing his tail, gathering magic to wipe them off the face of all three worlds. But Dream won fair and square, taking away his advantages in battle one by one, fully determined to tear his body apart with his fangs.

His attention was all on him then, and his green eyes weren't distracted by anything else. So why were they barely looking at him now?

A heavy hiss escaped him as he looked up to notice that Dream was no longer in front of him. He'd probably gone out to eat with everyone else...

"You've been sulking a lot lately." a snort came from nearby, and a dark, strong tail wrapped around him, covering his sides with leathery wings.

"I'm not sulking." he hissed back, but it didn't seem to convince the dragon.

The large scaly body tensed, letting him feel the strong muscles beneath his skin, and snuggled closer.

"Then maybe I should leave you here and go to XD?" He had a strange tone for some reason. Rumbling, smug, as if he was amused by the Wither's behavior, even though he didn't seem to be doing anything.

"No," he said after a few seconds of silence, and the purring grew louder.

"Or do you want to go back to the Nether?"

"No," he repeated, and his tail tried to flick its bony plates, but failed because it was pinned down by the dragon.

"Hmmm..." Dream still sounded satisfied. "Then what do you want?"

The skulls fell silent and hovered in one place as if they too were waiting for his answer.

Technoblade raised his head, looking up at the dragon's muzzle. The dragon looked down at him with its green eyes.

 "Your attention."

Dream laughed. If those strange rumbling sounds could be considered laughter. The Wither's obedience clearly pleased him.

 "You could have just asked."

The dragon's paws easily picked up his torso, even though he himself could float in the air and strong wings lifted them, heading for Dream's tower. The Void Deity and the rest of the reptilians remained below, but Technoblade realized he didn't care at all.

The skulls snapped their jaws approvingly.

Dream released him onto the obsidian and immediately loomed over him, his muzzle changing, growing smaller as his body lost weight and took on more human features, playfully opening his lips in a smile and revealing rows of fangs.

Even in his smaller body, the dragon did not lose that aura of power that was evident in his every movement and indicated he was a predator. It sat on Techno's hips as if it were the world's most coveted throne, leaving its tail on the Wither's legs and slowly curving its body as if to show off.

The layer of scales covering his skin in places, though replacing his need for clothing, still looked extremely provocative, eliciting an otherworldly wheeze from Technoblade's chest.

Dream laughed and shook his head that still bore the horns, running his palms over the Wither's chest.

"Such an obedient boy..." The dragon rumbled, leaning forward so that his body was pressed tightly against his.

The lines of his slim waist were enticing, and his hips alone made him want to kill left and right if he could get his hands on them.

"Don't even think about it,” Dream whispered against his lips as his hands reached upward almost on instinct, ”You're mine, and I'll do whatever I want with you. And you're going to be a good toy and take whatever I give you - no more, no less."

It sounded threatening, but it excited him even better than the bloodiest battles he'd ever been in.

Dream purred contentedly, licking his lips and pressing his palms hard against his chest. The claws pierced the grayish skin easily enough while the dragon fidgeted on his hips, more focused on his own pleasure than on the state of his toy.

He rubbed his crotch against him, clenching and unclenching his claws, biting when the thought crossed his mind, and even with the maddening excitement, Techno never once lifted his hands, willpower keeping them on the cool obsidian. His skulls, though they snapped their jaws every few seconds, didn't dare to show impatience more explicitly either.

The leathery wings twitched behind the small of Dream's back, sometimes opening wide, flapping with the intensity of the sensation and it wasn't long before the Wither felt the wetness on his skin where the dragon was rubbing against him, as if he really didn't see him as a living thing.

Technoblade tried to raise himself up, trying to get a better look at the sight, and Dream gave him a short growl, snapping his fangs and thrusting his hips hard to be sure, making him stretch out on the obsidian again.

He tugged irritably at the fabric on the Wither's thighs and ended up just tearing it into thin strips, not having enough patience to get it off. Techno wanted to protest because you wouldn't find much clothing in the End, but at that moment the dragon cocked his head upwards, moaning, and any thought he wanted to say just crumbled in his head.

The sensations were scalding. Techno was used to the fires of the Nether and the lava that bubbled in magic beneath his skin, but Dream was experiencing it for the first time. He lingered against the grayish skin, rubbing at each rough scale and purring, enjoying the warmth.

The dragon's tail snakes around his leg, not squeezing yet, just reminding him of itself with its weight. The Wither says nothing, though he knows the danger of such an action.

"Good boy...” a warm, wet tongue licks his lips, and Techno tries not to twitch as the words ignite a hungry inferno in his belly.

The purring voice is extremely addictive and he really does want to be an obedient toy, just to keep Dream's attention on him longer.

 "So perfect... just for me."

Dragons have always been possessive and even now there are snarling notes in his words. Leathery wings stretch out, covering both of them from the sides in reluctance to share such a view with the others. Technoblade knows that fire-breathing reptiles don't care about such things as shame and privacy despite their half-human appearance.

They leave their markings in front of their family, in public view, and the fact that Dream covers them with his wings means that he considers his toy's current appearance too valuable to share with the rest of us.

"My personal little flame." The dragon on his hips presses hard against him, leaving more and more wet marks and Techno feels how hard he is from the feel of the supple, small but dangerous body.

Clawed fingers find his cock easily and Dream smiles, showing all his fangs again as he feels his impatience. The Wither wheezes low and bone spurs snap with impatience, ignoring all his efforts to lie as still as possible.

"You listened to me so well... There should be a reward for that, shouldn't there?"

The seductive tone makes his cock twitch and his tail slap against the obsidian with such force that it almost strikes sparks.

"Hmm... I might even give you a choice." he fidgeted on his erect cock, and Techno had to bite his tongue to keep from hissing. "What do you want more: the opportunity to touch or yourself in me?"

Dream's eyes gleamed slyly and there was a catch in his words, but the excitement was already starting to drive him a little crazy, so the Wither didn't let himself think about it for too long.

"You." The skulls next to his head rumbled triumphantly, and the dragon shook his horned head contentedly.

He hoped the dragon would kiss him, but he only began to purr again, wandering his hands over the strong but sometimes bony body, clawing at every spur and occasionally leaving bloody scratches. At such moments his nostrils dilated and his expression became even more predatory, as if he had finally smelled his prey.

Techno didn't mind. Blood never bothered him, and he still wanted to be the best choice for Dream to keep getting praise and mind-blowing touches. Even though his own desire was making it hard to think.

The small body rubbed its crotch hard against his cock and the Wither's eyes almost went black.

"Well done." The dragon cooed and reached for his cock again with his fingers, guiding it into his cunt, which was opening up under a dense layer of dark scales.

Dream exhaled contentedly, slowly lowering himself and Techno tried to claw at the obsidian, keeping himself from moving. But once his cock was fully inside the wet and warm body, the reptile froze and broke into a dangerous smile.

The Wither bit his lip, but even after a couple of minutes, the dragon didn't move.

"Dream?" he asked uncertainly, unable to control the wheezy notes in his words.

"Yes?” the dragon seductively ran his palms over his stomach, watching the skin stretch slightly, moving scales from the size of Technoblade's cock.

 "You... you won't...?"

"Hmmm... But you've already gotten your reward, haven't you? Or did you expect something else from me?" Dream leaned lower, exhaling smoke into his face.

The urge to kiss him made him dizzy and Techno gave in slightly upward, only to freeze when he felt claws on his chest.

"No, no, no... good boys lie still!" The dragon said playfully, never shortening those few centimeters to his lips.

Skulls snap their jaws impatiently and have to be shushed to behave.

Dream looked like he was waiting for something. He was slowly running his claws over his grayish skin, playing with his long tangled hair, memorizing it all by touch, but he continued to sit just as still.

Finally, an otherworldly low wheeze escaped from Techno after a few minutes of tense waiting, when he felt like his blood had just begun to boil, burning out any thought.

"Dream... Dream, please!" he pleaded and the dragon's eyes narrowed in a smile.

"Good boy,” he praised with a purr and finally began to move, slowly at first, just fidgeting back and forth, and then speeding up, using him like the toy he'd promised to make him.

His hands rested on the Wither's chest again, and the way his hips moved could be called a separate kind of torture. The bony tail beat against the obsidian more and more often and even the skulls became noisier, but Dream was completely oblivious to his condition, using him as an object rather than a living thing.

His tongue flickered seductively between his fangs, and his green eyes shone as brightly as if there were flames behind them. The claws continued to dig into his skin, leaving bloody marks, and Techno almost whimpered when the dragon lowered one palm to his neck, stroking the bony outgrowths.

The touch was both gentle and dangerous at the same time, as if Dream wanted to remind him that he was only one sharp movement away from death, and dear void, if that thought didn't turn him on so much that he saw black dots in front of his eyes.

He realized too late that a long wheeze burst from his throat, resonating otherworldly in the End sky, and skulls echoed it, creating a cacophony of sounds that were so foreign to the third world. Still, Dream smiled as he watched Techno lose control, continuing to move his hips like a skilled rider, stretching each sensation sweetly, and his own tail began to move as well, sliding slowly down his legs, letting him feel every scale.

The dragon began to rumble, making a deep vibration and leaning a little lower, scrutinizing the Wither's every expression. A long tongue nimbly slipped out from behind the fangs and hovered a few centimeters from his lips. The dragon's hips did not cease their movement, wrenching out a suppressed wheeze and convulsive shudders from him. It made it seem like just a little more and he would still be able to reach the dragon's lips, but the long-awaited touch never came.

Dream smiled like the very embodiment of temptation, and if Techno were religious, he would have considered him the sweetest sin in the flesh. The dragon looked like a welcome fall into the abyss, like a beautiful doom, dragging him somewhere deeper and deeper with mere fiery glances that promised more.

He was waiting for something again, not taking his gaze off him, dilating his pupils so wide that they almost flooded the entire eye with blackness, and he had to search for breath to produce anything other than a moan.

"Please?" He asked again, unsure if the dragon was expecting it.

Dream's smile grew wider, but he didn't lean any lower.

 "Please, please, I need...I want...."

The hip movements stopped and the dragon placed his hands comfortably on his chest, laying his head on them with the expression of a satisfied cat who had caught a large bird. Technoblade didn't look much like a bird, but he doubted the End guardian cared.

"Come on, how am I supposed to know what you want if you can't say it?" he bowed his head, licking his lips slowly and Techno clamped his eyes shut to keep himself from cumming sooner just from that sight alone.

 "I want you."

"But you already have me!" The dragon purred and the skulls beside him wheezed with desperate impatience, almost vibrating with so much sensation.

 "May I kiss you?"

"How polite! But something is missing…"

"May I kiss you? Please?” Techno corrected himself and groaned as Dream moved his hips again, falling hard against his lips.

Liquid flames spilled down his throat, mingling with his black smoke, caressing his insides and coiling somewhere in his chest like a jealous snake. The dragon's long tongue slid over his fangs, explored inside, and slid deeper, hungrily licking every inch of him and stealing what breath he had left.

The air was something unnecessary to the creatures of the void, but without it, almost any sounds he made would come off in an otherworldly wheeze, joining the harsh sounds of his skulls very close by. Dream growled, lowering his hips with more force, and his tail clenched around his legs so tightly he could almost hear his bones creaking. The dragon's moist, warm core clenched periodically in frequent pulses as his claws tangled in his pink hair, pulling it back so that the Wither would raise his head. When he did, his tongue pushed even deeper continuing to pour liquid flames down his throat.

"That's it, good boy." Dream exhaled, beginning to shake with his whole body.

His wings lifted slightly as if trying to flap, before wrapping around them even more.

With a long wheeze, Techno erupted, painting End's guardian's insides, seeing supernovae explode in front of his eyes.

For a moment it seemed as if everything around him stopped, and then the dragon's seductive hips began to move again, starting at a slow pace, and picking up speed with each passing second.

The Wither choked on his own smoke, looking at the dragon in confusion. Dream looked satiated, staring at him from under half-closed eyelids, but he didn't stop his movements.

"You didn't ask for permission." He smiled, arching his back beautifully. "You can only cum when I tell you to. And disobedience requires punishment."

The skulls beside him snapped their jaws shut with a snap, somehow managing to look surprised.

And then another movement from Dream made him choke on a moan of hypersensitivity, and all sane thoughts flew out of his head. At least now he couldn't complain about the dragon's lack of attention.

Notes:

I tried doing a speedpaint because the app had that feature, and if you want to see it, welcome to my Tumblr, where I periodically post stuff and then disappear for about half a year. (It's so weird to see how the video doesn't even show hours of me suffering over Dream's face...)
