Jared pulled into the parking lot designated for the Liberal Arts staff. The head of Jensen department had called him about coming to pack up Jensen’s office. The new professor would be arriving at the end of the week. Jared threw his suit coat in the backseat and headed into the faculty building.
Kashian was about to leave when Jared opened the office door. Jensen didn’t look up that in his reality the door hadn’t opened at all. His attention was still on the photo. Jared moved toward the desk as Jensen got up and stood at the window Jared sat in the chair he had just vacated.
Jared looked at the clutter that was scattered across Jensen’s desk. He paused as his eyes landed on the photo Mackenzie had taken of them on their 7th anniversary the past May. That year their anniversary had landed on Mother’s Day. Jensen had decided to put together a family barbeque for his mom Donna and Jared’s mom Sherry. Their moms had made sure they celebrated their marriage too.
Both men looked so lost and hurt Kashian started to chant a spell to unite the two universes. Inside the Realm Napia was humming to herself when the vision of her dear brother chanting flashed in her head. In swirl of wings she vanished to the human world. "Kashian what are you doing?" Napia demanded.
"Putting things right." Kashian snapped not looking at his sister.
"You can’t do that!" Napia screeched attacking Kashian beginning her chanting.
Jared clutched his head as high pitched screaming echoed through his head. Standing up he pitched forward into the blurring swirl. Jensen’s stumbled as the room shook and he began falling into the kaleidoscope his office had become. Both men slammed heavily into a moss covered forest floor. Jared landing first with Jensen landing with a thud on top of him and rolling off.
Napia shoved Kashian back with the intention of using the crystal orb necklace they both wore to cast her interfering brother back into the Realm. Kashian had the same thoughts. The dual force of the identical crystals cancelled each other out. In a blinding flash both siblings crashed to the floor. Kashian rubbed his throbbing temple. He looked over at his sister who was still and unmoving on the floor. "Napia! Napia!" Kashian crawled over to her.
Napia’s eyes blinked open looking up at Kashian. "Kashian! What happened?" she blinked again looking around Kashian. "Did you injure your wings brother?" she could not see a sign of them.
Kashian shook his head confused. "No! Did you hurt yours?" Kashian flexed his wings. His heart slammed inside his chest when he felt nothing. No gentle breeze no pulls on his shoulder blades.
"Kashian your wings, they are gone!" Napia squeaked.
Looking at his pretty sister. "Yours are gone too Napia." He looked around. "And the humans are gone!"
The door to the office open two security guards with tasers at the ready stepped inside. The older guard glared at them. "What are you kids doing in here? The campus is closed until the new semester starts."
"Are you doing drugs in here? Or having kinky sex?" the younger guard demanded with a creep leer.
"Be gone!" Napia held out her hand waiting for the flash to come that signaled that the two humans were no longer in their presences, but nothing happened. "What! Kashian what has happened to us?"
Kashian panicked. "So officers, ah detectives. You caught us we heard Professor Ackles hid some really good drugs in his office. We didn’t find any. Ah so we were. Shit! We were" Kashian looked at his sister.
Napia eyes went wide. "We decided to fuck!" Napia grabbed Kashian’s hand pulling him toward the door. "Come on lover boy lets go somewhere else to fuck."
The deep pain filled groan pulled Jensen from unconsciousness. Pushing himself up he looked over to see Jared lying next him out cold. "Shit Jay! Come on man wake up. Don’t make me face all this weird shit by myself." Jensen tapped Jared’s face.
Jared’s eyes snapped open. His heart almost stopped seeing Jensen’s beautiful green orbs staring down at him. Jared grabbed his husband in the tightest hug he could kissing him all over his face. "I knew you weren’t dead. No one believed me but I knew."
Jensen struggled to pull out of the strangle hold Jared had on him. "Jay. Jay baby I can't breath."
Jared loosened his grip. "I knew you were alive." Jared cupped Jensen face in his hands pulling him in for a soft kiss.
"Jay. Jay what's going on. Why did you think I was dead? We had awesome shower sex this morning." Jensen pressed another kiss on his husbands lips.
"God Jensen that was months ago. Your car crashed. Even Christian and Steve believed you were gone. I didn't. I didn't. they never found a body. I never believed it." Jared crushed Jensen to him again.
Jensen threaded his fingers throw Jared's hair pulling him into a heated kiss. Whatever had happen had traumatized Jared. "Love you baby."
Curious eyes peeked out over branches. Wings flutter like rustling leaf's. Most of the Sidhe had never seen real humans. How had they ended up in the Realm. Mags ventured closer to the humans. She peered over a small branch at the two. Leaning further over the small fairy lost her grip on the branch falling before her tiny wings could catch her. Mags fell down bouncing off the crown of Jared's head.
"Shit! What the hell?" Jared rubbed his head.
