As Barry slowly opened his eyes, he realized that he wasn't on his bed taking his usual nap for the day. He flipped his head around multiple times, realizing that he was in the middle of nowhere. Looking in front of him, he saw a shining, golden light illuminating the atmosphere. He waved his hand in front of it, hoping for some kind of response.
“Hey? Is anyone here? Anyone at all? Hello?”
The light began illuminating stronger, causing Barry to shield his eyes with his arms. Shortly after, a mysterious, powerful voice emerged from the light.
“Welcome to my realm, located beyond both time and space. It is well thou art here. I am which humans call Arceus.”
Woah, woah, woah! Arceus? As if! If this guy’s trying to humor me into thinking that he is the God of Pokémon, he’s fining me triple for this terrible act! Barry sighed as he thought about how ridiculous this all is. If anyone got a dream from Arceus, it should’ve been Dawn or Lucas based on their recent events with Team Galactic. Speaking of Dawn, she hasn’t contacted either of them recently . . .
“So you’re the creator of all people and Pokémon? That’s neat, but it’s kinda hard to believe. Got any proof?”
After a small moment of silence, the ray of light spoke again.
“Indeed. Thou art Barry from Twinleaf town, correct?”
After Barry nodded, the voice continued.
“Thou might have noticed that thine friend Dawn is missing from thine world currently. That is because thine friend was sent to a version of thine world in the past by me.”
YOU sent her to another dimension? After all she’s been through with the incidents of the distortion world? Barry was seeing red, and with the anger flaring through him, he misspoke out of turn.
“If what you said is true, I’m fining you quintuple!” Barry jabbed a finger towards the light. “That’s right, quintuple of what I normally fine people, you hear me?”
As the realm began to shake, the light took more of a physical form. Arceus glared straight at Barry’s eyes, and tapped one of his legs. A portal of shining light formed around Barry, causing him to panic. What have I done?
“Perhaps thou shall experience the world for thineself and determine if it’s worth fining the creator of Pokémon quintuple of what thou charge mere mortals.”
“H-hey! Wait!” —————————————————————————————————————————————

And with that, Barry from Twinleaf town was sent to the ancient world of Pokémon.
