Vincent was not a man who could easily be swindled with anything, especially not love. Love is not something he wishes to bother with. He already had everything he could've wanted. Fame as a chef, a world-renowned restaurant of his own, and a nice apartment on top of said restaurant. What more could he ask for?
Well, it was possibly the attention of the stupid little waiter that worked for him, and he didn't even know it yet.

Vincent does not have cannibalistic tendencies and eventually Rody starts growing on him. Vince soon starts being kind, offering help when he would normally not have. After a few very deep talks about past relationships, such as Monan and Rody and Victor and Vincent, they eventually get together.
