Work Text:
Ochako knew that being Bakugou Katsuki’s hero partner would mean a world of trouble for her in every way possible, but there was the unfortunate fact that they just worked too well to not do it. It was stupid, but neither of them were willing to give up the innate advantage of working together, so. Here they were.
Three years into their partnership, they had: spent almost every day at each other's throats, blown up and/or defenestrated the desk in their office four times, tattled to each other’s parents… more than was advisable in any adult partnership, made the front page for non-hero related antics enough times that Ochako had lost count, and threatened to call the whole thing off at least four or five times a year.
They had also jointly made it up to the top five in the rookie ranking in their first year, top twenty overall in their second, and top ten in their third. It was hard to argue with results like that.
They also had one more bad habit. It was… relatively new. Ish. And very ill-advised. And very, very hard to stop
At some point in the last year, they had begun sleeping together.
Or maybe not- Maybe sleeping together was a poor choice of words. After all: there was no sleeping involved. Not even a bed, really. Mostly they’d been confined to empty locker rooms, storage closets, back alleys- Well. Things of that nature.
Was it smart? No. Was it appropriate? Absolutely not. Did Ochako deserve better? Undoubtedly.
Was she going to stop fucking her hero partner? …. Probably not.
It was just. He was really, really good, and also really, really hot, and also around her all the damn time, so… Currently, the pros outweighed the cons. As long as Ochako didn’t let herself look too close.
There was something to be said, though, for what fucking had done to their overall dynamic. Since they’d started, they’d been fighting noticeably less, enjoying each other’s company significantly more, and crimes against their office desk had dropped to a new low! It turned out that instead of fighting about stupid things that didn’t really matter at the end of the day, they could simply see who could glare the longest as Katsuki buried his mouth between her legs or while she fondled his cock between her tits and dragged his pleasure out. By the time they finished, their argument was usually the last thing on either of their minds.
Now, for example, Ochako couldn’t really remember why she’d stormed in yelling. She’d had a stack of papers in her hand, but she couldn’t exactly remember what they said either. At the moment, all she could focus on were Katsuki’s thick, strong fingers inside her as she rocked down against his palm.
Either he’d dragged her into his lap or she’d perched herself there, but she’d somehow ended up squished into their desk chair over him, knees on either side of his hips, and his hand between her legs. She’d dropped her head onto his shoulder when he’d started getting her just undressed enough, and he’d started nibbling on her ear, probably because she’d denied him access to her neck.
“So easy,” he growled, as if he wasn’t the same as her, just as perpetually hungry for another taste of this. “You gonna come on my fingers? Already, Sweet Cheeks?”
Ochako moaned low in her throat. She knew she could last if she needed to, but why did she need to? They didn’t do this to tease or explore; they did this for quick, easy, and convenient orgasms. So yeah, she was gonna come.
“Just- Shut up and keep going,” she panted, grinding hard against his hand. His fingers curled and thrust inside of her, and his palm provided the perfect amount of friction against her clit, even as she slicked it up to the point of audible squelching. Was it embarrassing? Not really. Katsuki had probably seen her in every way possible, from bandaged and broken in a hospital room, to coming apart on his tongue like some sort of sex demon. There really wasn’t anything to possibly be embarrassed about with him, not anymore.
“Aye aye, needy brat.”
Ochako had one hand on his shoulder and the other on his wrist, holding him steady, but at that she released him and dug the heel of her palm right down on the bulge in his pants. Katsuki hissed out a curse, his body tensing, but knowing there wasn’t enough space on the chair to move without bucking Ochako onto the floor, he held himself back.
“You’re one to talk,” Ochako groaned, and then she was coming, riding her orgasm out on his dutiful hand.
Yeah, there was nothing smart about this, but Ochako wouldn’t be giving it up anytime soon, that much was certain.
In hindsight, there were a few things Ochako wished she’d had the chance to do. First, she wished she’d taken the time to write a will, making sure she left everything to her parents. Second, she wished she’d tried growing her hair out instead of giving in and cutting it whenever it got just past her shoulders. Third, she wished she’d had a chance to apologize to Katsuki. He would think it was all his fault, but he’d done everything he could; they both had.
Lastly, she wished she’d kissed him.
She didn’t know if her eyes were open or closed, or if it mattered at all. She could only see blackness, or an approximation of it, maybe. Still she imagined his tufty blond hair, soft and bright like a dandelion. She imagined his fierce red eyes, softer on her than they ever were on anyone else. She imagined the warmth of his body, the lean curves of his muscles.
She imagined his face, so pretty it was at odds with the expressions he usually wore. His soft pink lips that always rested in a pout. The brush of his golden lashes over his cheeks when his eyes fluttered shut. The dark texture of the scar over his eye.
She wished she’d told him, even once, that she wanted more. She wanted more than hero partners, or quick, illicit handjobs during lunch breaks. If she got to have him like that already, in every other way, why shouldn’t she get to fall in love with him too?
Besides, she might be a hero, she might be a badass and everything else, but she was still just a girl. She wanted to do those things. Things like fall in love, hold hands, go on dates by the river. She wanted to sleep with someone, and wake up in their arms.
She wanted… more things than she’d expected. She hadn’t known she was so selfish, but maybe death was one of those moments where you really learned a lot about yourself.
What a shame she hadn’t known before. What a shame it was too late to do anything about it.
Heaven, if that was where she’d ended up, was surprisingly noisy. Lots of yelling and cursing. The mechanical sound of an incessive, tinny beep.
Surprisingly uncomfortable too. She’d assumed it’d be all endless peace and comfort, or whatever. Maybe she’d ended up in Hell after all. Probably Katsuki’s fault.
She let herself drift away again. The blackness was quiet and peaceful.
Ochako opened her eyes. She didn’t know how long she’d been drifting in that numb and all-enveloping blackness, but now all she could see was brilliant, glaring white. Pearly gates, perhaps? An old white man waiting for her on a cloud, telling her she’d been good?
She tried to blink the haze away from her vision, and-
Hmm. Heaven had wide fluorescent lights on the ceiling. Tacky, but economically sound. She supposed that was fine.
The hellish beeping was back—or it had never stopped and she’d just been deaf to it for a little while—and it rang through her ears, bouncing around her skull like a- a- something really, really painful.
To be honest, this whole Heaven thing wasn’t all it was cracked up to be, in her opinion. She was slowly becoming very aware of her body, and all of it seemed to hurt so bad, what the fuck, owowow-! Maybe she’d have to have a word with God about it all.
Speaking of the devil—or, uh, Father—someone suddenly appeared in her vision, blocking out the light for a brief second. In the time it took her eyes to adjust, they were just a shadowy silhouette of a person. Or deity, she supposed.
“God?” she asked, shocked at how painful and raspy her voice came out. She managed to frown, though the muscles in her face felt stiff. “I’m filing a complaint, Heaven sucks so bad. God, you’re a stu-upid cheapsteak. Cheapskate. You’re too- too rich to have ugly lights, and also I hurt too bad. Zero stars, I h-hate it here.”
God was silent, and she narrowed her eyes up at him. Slowly, he was coming into focus. God looked a whole lot like Bakugou Katsuki. Not that she’d tell Katsuki that; it’d go straight to his head. Not that she could tell him, she supposed. On account of being dead and whatnot. While he was still alive and whatnot.
Her chin wobbled. Something wet dropped from the corner of her eye and down the side of her face, into her hair. And then some more. Despite the general ow of everything, her chest suddenly hurt so much worse than anything.
She didn’t want to be dead. She wanted to be back home, with her friends and her parents and her Katsuki.
“No, no, no” a voice said, rough and low. It cracked a little, sounding as hurt as she felt. Something touched her face, swiping so gently around her eyes. “Don’t cry, why are you crying? I’ll call the nurses, I’ll make them up the pain meds. It’s okay. Come on, Cheeks, don’t cry, don’t- Don’t do that to me.”
“G-God,” she sniffled, “I wanna be alive, please, I- I don’t wanna- don’t wanna die and l-leave everyone.”
“What are you talking about, Cheeks? I swear to god, if you found religion while you were out, I’m gonna beat you to hell and back. Stop talking about dying, goddamnit.”
“I-if I die who’s gonna take care of my parents,” she cried out, and it took her a long minute to realize she was truly sobbing, tears falling from her squeezed-shut eyes faster than that sweet touch could clear them. “And M-Mina’s g-gonna get married and I wanted t-to be h-her maid of honor. And Katsuki, I can’t l-leave Katsuki, God, please send me back, I’ll be good, I s-swear!”
“Cheeks- Ochako, damnit, wake up, you’re alive, you’re in the hospital, open your fucking eyes!”
“I won’t drink, or curse, or- or hurt anyone, or have sex before m-marriage, please j-just-” She hiccuped loudly, choking on the wetness of her own tears. “I don’t w-wanna die yet, I-”
The gentle touch on the left side of her face vanished, and she was immediately cut off by a much larger, heavier touch pressing flat over her lips.
The shock forced her eyes wide, her sobbing cutting off in a loud hiccup that made her weary lungs ache.
God really looked like Katsuki, if Katsuki was capable of feeling sad. Or something more than sad; bigger and more painful. His eyes were rimmed with red, and his lips looked chapped, and his skin looked dry. He looked like Katsuki if Katsuki had just had the worst week of his life and then cried about it. Which was almost funny because Ochako didn’t think she’d ever seen Katsuki cry.
“You’re gonna shut up,” God ground out. He talked like Katsuki too, all that barely restrained frustration caught in his teeth. “I’m calling in a nurse right now. And if you say another words about dying, or me, or premarital sex, I’m throwing you out the window and we’ll see how you survive that. Understand?”
Honestly, no. Ochako nodded, because she was too exhausted to do anything but what was explicitly asked of her, and she was pretty sure she’d, like, ruptured her vocal cords while crying, so she didn’t want to say anything more anyway.
God slowly let her go, carefully wiped the wetness from her cheeks and temples, and then did something out of her sight. Minutes or seconds later, when Ochako’s eyes had started taking really long blinks, there was the sound of a door and then voices.
Ochako tuned them out for the most part, until someone started calling her name over and over and a hand gently shook her. Ochako blinked her heavy eyelids open, and found God hovering over the shoulders of what must be two angels. The angels were dressed in an unflattering shade of green, but since Heaven had fluorescent lights, Ochako figured she couldn’t expect much better. The best thing about Heaven so far was the fact that God looked like Kastuki, even though it made her heart hurt a little to look at him.
“Uraraka-san, please look this way. Do you know where you are?”
“Heaven,” Ochako sighed. One of the angels flashed a beam of light into her eye and she winced. “Ow.” God looked very agitated.
“You’re at Musutafu General Hospital. Do you know how you ended up here?”
“Died,” Ochaku said sadly. “But it wasn’t Katsuki’s fault, the bad guy was just so-o bad.”
God cursed, which seemed not very godly.
“You didn’t die,” the angel corrected sternly. The beam flashed into her other eye and Ochako winced again, pouting heavily. “You were in critical condition, but with a few surgeries and quirks, we were able to get you stable. You’ve been in a coma, but you are very much alive. Can you follow my finger?”
The angel held up a finger and Ochako tried to lean forward to follow it, only for the other angel to pin her securely to the bed with a light touch. “With your eyes,” the restraining angel clarified. “Look at her finger and watch it move.”
Ochako frowned and nodded, narrowing her eyes as the angel began to move her finger. After a minute, she stopped, and the angel holding her stepped back, dusting her hands off and straightening her green clothes.
“That was good, Uraraka-san. You don’t appear to have any brain damage. Your memory might be fuzzy for a while and you might not feel very… together at the moment, but it’s just an effect of the medicines you’re on. How do you feel?”
“She hurts,” God said, which was correct. Ochako nodded sagely. He really did know everything. “When she woke up she was saying how badly she hurts. Fix it.”
“We’ll up the dosage a little bit,” Angel 1 said, nodding to Angel 2, who went to a pole by Ochako’s bed to mess with some little knob. Ochako followed—with her eyes!—the little tube that the knob was on, tracing it all the way down to her own arm, where it disappeared under a tightly wrapped bandage around the inner elbow. “We can’t give her too much, especially since we want to have a feel for her mental state as she recovers, in case she starts showing any signs of lasting damage. You understand, Bakugou-san.”
God let out a tense huff of air, but eventually nodded. “Fine. But do everything you can.”
“That’s our job. The doctor will come in to do a full check up. Visiting hours end at eight.”
“I’m not leaving,” God said immediately, and there was a hint of violence in his tone that was sooo Katsuki, Ochako couldn’t help but giggle.
Angel 1 was quiet for a moment before inclining her head very slightly. Even a stern angel like her couldn’t say no to God! “Very well.”
After the angels left, another angel—in a long white coat! Much more angelic!—came in. Angel 3 poked and prodded Ochako a whole lot and asked her a bunch of questions, but Ochako started falling asleep at some point. Her pain had dimmed a little without her noticing, and the relief seemed to lull her tired, aching body back into the warm cocoon of darkness she’d been drifting in before.
“Bye, God,” she murmured, twitching her fingers as best she could in a wave. “Don’t forget to bring me back to life so I can-” She broke off with a yawn that hurt much more than it should have. “Wanna… kiss him, so don’t let me die for real.”
When Ochako next opened her eyes, she felt… Hmm. Odd. Alive, but odd. Alive?
She quickly glanced down at herself, wincing as the sudden movement pulled at muscles that seemed to have fully solidified while she’d been asleep. She took herself in, scanning over the shapeless form under the thin blue blanket covering her, eying the IV tube in her arm, wrinkling her nose at the hideous hospital robe she could see covering her chest.
She was alive. In the hospital, and clearly not in the best shape she’d ever been in, but undoubtedly, that was the beep of her own heart rate picking up.
Her head hurt and she felt hungry in a no appetite kind of way, but those were alive feelings. Uraraka Ochako was not dead. Holy shit.
She turned a little to see if she could find a button to press for some water to drink, but her eyes caught instead on…
Katsuki was apparently asleep in a chair that had been pulled right up to the bedside, his arms crossed over his chest, his head lolled onto his own shoulder. He looked so peaceful, though Ochako knew his neck would be killing him when he woke up.
Deciding to generously save him from a night’s worth of neck pain (and maybe take advantage of the free concierge service he could provide), Ochako hissed his name. “Katsuki. Psst, Katsuki. Katsuki, wake up.” Her throat was sore, and stage whispering sent her into a coughing fit that brought tears to her eyes as her muscles tensed. Of course, that was what woke Katsuki up, and he jerked forward, nearly falling out of his chair as he lunged over her, scanning her over as if to make sure she wasn’t choking on something.
“You’re awake,” he finally said when she stopped coughing.
Ochako managed a teary, toothy grin. “So are you. Wanna get me some water since you’re all ambulatory and shit?”
Katsuki glared at her, but it lacked any of his usual anger. More than a glare, actually, it was like he was studying her, searching for a trace of something and coming up short. “You know who I am now?” he asked finally,
Ochako tilted her head. “Should I not? Are you in disguise or something? Go get me something to drink, come on.”
Katsuki lingered for a moment more before spinning on his heels and storming off in a huff. Ochako watched him leave with a confused frown on her face, but ultimately decided not to worry about it. There were more important things to think about, like how to get this hospital bed upright enough to be sitting.
Ochako searched around until she found a remote within reach, but when she tried reaching for it, she found that her arms were… less than mobile. In fact, now that she thought about it, most of her body was less than mobile at the moment. She tried to wiggle her toes, but didn’t see anything move under the blanket. Surely she wasn’t… She put the thought out of her head before she let herself panic. When Katsuki was back, he’d have answers.
Ochako repeated that to herself, staring up at the ceiling, until Katsuki came back carrying a bottle of water and a can of something bubbly and sweet in one hand, and a bag of Ochako’s favorite wasabeef flavored chips. If Ochako could move, she would have shot up and clapped her hands eagerly, but as it was, she let out a quiet cheer and waited for Katsuki to get close.
As he unscrewed the water for her, she bit her lip. After a moment’s deliberation, she opened her mouth and asked, “Do you know if I’m… Like, will I- I mean, I can’t… move. Right now. Is that…”
Katsuki’s eyes snapped up to hers. “Permanent?” he finished when she trailed off. With her heartbeat in her throat, she nodded. He scoffed, brought the water close to her lips, and propped her up ever so slightly to help her drink. “Nah. You’re bandaged and casted up to hell and back, and the rest of you is probably exhausted. Doctor’s haven’t mentioned anything about that, so don’t stress out.”
Ochako swallowed the cool, refreshing water and let out a sigh of relief. “Oh, thank god. Then help me get this bed up so I can sit a little.”
Katsuki hesitated, a frown on his face, and then took the remote and levered the bed up approximately one degree. Ochako frowned. Katsuki peered at her cautiously, and then raised it ever so slightly more.
“What the hell-”
“I’m calling a nurse,” Katsuki interrupted before Ochako could summon the energy to go off on him. “They can decide whether that’s good for you or not.”
“Oh, for god’s sake,” Ochako muttered, and something about that made a complicated expression cross Katsuki’s face before he pressed a red button and waited silently for someone to arrive.
Ochako spent a week and a half in the hospital after waking up. Once she’d regained some energy, the were able to help her healing along with more advanced healing quirks, and thankfully physical therapy got her out of that damned bed at least once a day, but she was very literally bouncing off the walls when it was time for her release.
Katsuki, oddly enough, had stayed with her the entire time, only leaving now and then while she was sleeping to go change his clothes or sneak in some real food for her (Katsuki’s homemade bentos for a whole week!!). “What am I supposed to do?” he’d snapped when she’d asked him about it. “We’re a fucking team, no way am I screwing with our stats by doing goddamn solo work while you’re sitting on your ass watching TV!”
Whatever. It meant he was able to bring her a change of clothes when it was time to leave, help her into them when standing up for too long was still a little much, and take her home without delay.
Ochako sighed in contentment as she reclined the passenger seat, rolling down the window to feel the fresh air on her face. “I’m never going back there again,” she promised. “If I ever get hurt that badly, just kill me there, I refuse to suffer through all that again.”
She was joking, of course, but from the way Katsuki’s knuckles turned white around the steering wheel, he didn’t find her very funny. He was silent for a long moment before speaking. “I’m not letting you do that shit again.” He was uncharacteristically quiet, serious. Ochako looked over at him, taking in the low furrow of his pale brows, the way his red eyes were fixed on the road ahead. “If you ever-”
His voice cracked and he shut up, gritting his teeth, the muscle in his jaw jumping. Ochako was shocked to see that his eyes were damp, the whites pink-tinged. “Katsuki,” she said through a forced out laugh. “Come on, it wasn’t-”
“Shut up,” he snarled. “You don’t- You don’t even remember. I watched you fall, I had to take you to the ambulance. They restarted your heart twice. You were in a coma for four days. You woke up, begging- begging me not to let you be dead. So you are not fucking doing that again or I’ll- I’ll…”
Ochako, not prepared to deal with this sudden unexpected well of emotion, tried for humor to lighten things up. “Kill me yourself?” she offered with a weak chuckle.
Katsuki tore his shining eyes off the road just long enough to send her a piercing glare. “I’ll fucking follow you,” he growled, low and unforgiving. “You hear me? If you pull that shit again, I’ll fucking storm heaven and bring you back. Don’t fucking try me.”
At that, Ochako couldn’t help but let out a genuine, euphoric laugh. Before Katsuki could get (more) upset with her, she reached out, snatched one of his hands off the steering wheel, and pulled it up to her mouth. She left a sweet, grateful kiss right on the back of his knuckles, and then kept his hand close, just because. When he glanced over again, the shock having run the despair right off his face, Ochako beamed at him.
“Alright,” she said. “If I die, I’ll be waiting for you.”
Katsuki clenched his jaw again, his fingers tightening around her much smaller hands. Then he nodded once, sharply. “Good. Fuck. Let’s… Let’s get you home.”
Ochako slumped happily in her seat, Katsuki’s hand warm and solid between her own, and the smile curving her lips didn’t fade for the rest of the drive.
Ochako wasn’t allowed back to work yet, but that was fine. Out of the hospital, she could start training (under Katsuki’s watchful and overly-cautious glare), she could go outside (with Katsuki following her like a massive, fluffy guard dog), she could eat real food whenever she wanted (mostly what Katsuki cooked, which was quite alright with her!). Overall, despite not being back to normal, per se, her quality of life had shot up after being released, and Ochako couldn’t be happier.
Well, there was one thing, maybe, that could make her a little, itty-bitty, teeny-weeny bit happier.
It turned out that being around Katsuki practically twenty four seven for weeks was actually… a little difficult. Not because of the bickering, which was expected and made her feel lively again. No, it was just that… she’d gotten used to a certain… element of their relationship, and had recently been in a situation wherein she was feeling baited and tempted and teased at every turn, only for absolutely nothing to happen.
Ochako wanted to get laid! She deserved it!
Finally, a week and a half after her release, and fed up to no end with Katsuki’s over-protective obtuseness, Ochako decided that she’d had enough.
She could move just fine now, as long as she didn’t pull too hard on the generous number of new scars littering her skin, so she didn’t need any help changing her clothes. Katsuki was out in the living room, cursing at a baseball game on TV, so Ochako took the opportunity to go to her room and strip off the sweatpants and t-shirt she’d been rotting in all day.
It took some digging through her drawers to find what she was looking for (lingerie did not, unfortunately, get much use in her daily wardrobe) but when she did, she let out a triumphant “A-hah!” before slapping her hand over her mouth and watching the door cautiously a moment.
When it was clear that Katsuki had either not heard or chosen to ignore, Ochako got ready. She’d showered just a few hours ago, so she was all good on that front, and the set she’d pulled out was simple in design, not too strappy or difficult to get into (or out of).
She watched herself in the mirror as she pulled the panties on. The soft pink straps dug in a little to the meat of her hips, making an enticing divot there, but the real focus was the front mesh panel: sheer white bordered with pretty floral embroidery in a truer pink with thin green leaves. The bra followed, similar in construction with pink straps and sheer embroidered cups. There was no hiding the way her chest seemed to spill into the cups, or the soft dusky rose of her nipples through the mesh.
It had been a while since she’d dressed up like this, and she felt herself blush as she admired the view in the mirror. The delicate floral lingerie was a bit at odds with the scars littering her body—especially the new ones—but overall, the effect was good. She looked pretty, the generous softness of her curves hiding the raw muscle underneath, making her look… grabbable. She licked her lips, face heating, as she imagined Katsuki’s hands on her, his fingers digging into the meat of her thighs, the softness of her stomach and hips.
Before her imagination could get away from her, Ochako scuttled over to the bed, heart high in her throat. She smoothed out the comforter, scrambled into the middle of the bed, and propped herself up just a little with some pillows, aiming for a seductive kind of pose. Then, she cleared her throat, swallowed nervously, and called for him. “Katsuki! Help, I’ve fallen, and I can’t get up!”
Would she be in trouble for that? Probably. Would it be worth it? God, she sure hoped so.
She didn’t even have to wait a full second before she heard his footsteps speeding down the hall, and then her door was thrown open, and-
Katsuki froze right there in the doorway, his eyes stuck on Ochako’s nearly naked body.
Slowly, heatedly, they trailed up and up and up to her face. His expression was unreadable. Ochako swallowed back her nerves; they’d never done anything like this before.
“What the hell is this,” he growled quietly. Ochako couldn’t really tell if it was a good growl or a bad one.
“I thought,” she started, trying not to let her voice quaver, “that we could kill two birds with one stone. ‘Congratulations on not dying!’ for me, and a ‘Thanks for saving my life!’ for you.” She inched her one bent knee a little higher, unconsciously hiding herself just a little bit from view, and let out a high pitched laugh. “What do you think?”
Katsuki stayed in the doorway. His hand, resting on the doorknob, seemed close to crushing the cheap brass in its grasp. “You’re injured,” he rasped out.
“Not anymore,” Ochako corrected quickly. “I mean… a little bit, but not so much that I can’t- that we couldn’t…”
“Cheeks. I swear to god, if you’re trying to get yourself hurt-”
“I’m not!” She huffed, her excitement slowly fading into annoyance and, more pressingly, a fair amount of embarrassment. She reached for a pillow behind her, tugging it into her lap with her back turned to Katsuki so she didn’t have to see him looking at her. “I’m just trying to get laid,” she muttered darkly. “But if you don’t want to, then forget about it. You don’t need to be an a-”
The pillow was torn away before she could even lean back again, and her gaze flew up to find Katsuki leaning over the bed, his eyes so dark that the red of his irises were little more than contours of his pupils. “Don’t cover up,” he demanded, shoving the pillow back against the headboard. “You want to fuck? Tell me how. What do you want from me, looking like this?” One of his hands landed on the outside of her ribs, a rough thumb stroking delicately along the band of her bra.
Ochako’s heart rate suddenly tripled. She blinked up at him and found her throat was suddenly very dry. They’d never actually… gone all the way. Probably for time and location reasons, but there had always been something else holding her back. Hands and mouths and thighs, they were intimately familiar with, but that was it. That had been it. But…
“I want you to fuck me,” she whispered. She didn’t need to speak any louder, not with Katsuki so close. “For real. In-inside me.”
Katsuki didn’t look surprised, but his eyes searched her face thoroughly. “Is that all?” he asked, suddenly closer. Their noses brushed, and Ochako’s breath caught in her lungs. They’d also never- They’d never kissed. That was something they’d never done. Ochako wanted to. She couldn’t keep her eyes from flicking down towards his lips, soft and pouty and pink. She wanted to taste them.
“K-kiss?” she managed, feeling like her brain cells had taken a hit at Katsuki’s proximity. Surely he hadn’t always had that effect on her, right? That must be new.
She didn’t have much time to ponder it, because no sooner had she asked than he was cupping the back of her head with one hand and dragging her into a kiss. A real kiss, on the lips, with absolutely no holds barred. His tongue pushed into her mouth, and she whimpered into it, and his hands tightened, and this was exactly what she’d wanted.
For some reason, she felt her eyes begin to sting, and she kissed him harder. As long as they were occupied with this, he wouldn’t see the way her eyelashes grew inexplicably damp.
Unfortunately, he pulled back with a ragged breath before she could will the budding tears away, and she was left gasping and pawing uselessly at her face as he stared at her. Then he batted her hands away and his hands cupped her face, so gently they could have been holding a crystal chrysalis. His thumbs wiped her cheeks, ever so carefully, and she was hit with sudden deja vu. Had he done this to her before?
“You’re going to be the death of me,” he muttered. “Stop crying. You were the one who said you needed to come back to life so you could kiss me and then forgot about it. Pull yourself together, Sweet Cheeks.”
Ochako sniffled wetly and let her head rest heavy in his hands, staring up at him through round, damp, doe eyes. “I’m trying,” she pouted. “I don’t- I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
With his hands still soft, he gave her a little shake. “I know you don’t. It’s like you want me to lose my mind.”
Ochako caught hold of the hem of his shirt, twisting it between her fingers. “I wouldn’t… mind.”
Katsuki heaved out an exasperated sigh and his forehead fell to hers. “Cheeks,” he said after a moment. “‘Chako. I’m gonna need- I need you to tell me what you want.”
“I told you, f-”
“What you really want,” Katsuki interrupted, something strained and tired in his voice. “From me, from- from this. I can’t… After all this, I’m sick of chasing you around like a fucking kid, or only getting you for a- a handie in the agency bathroom. I mean, that’s good, that’s so good, but I- I want more. I want you, Cheeks. Tell me I’m not fucking crazy.”
Ochako felt her heart skip even as her eyes began to well up again. She tried to choke down the embarrassing rush of emotion, but- but Katsuki-
“Yeah,” she managed in a strangled voice. “You’re a little bit crazy. But I- I also want… that. You. Um. God, fuck, I’m-” She laughed, a wet-sounding, weak thing, and tried to wipe her eyes again, but Katsuki’s hands were still in the way, already catching her tears between his fingers. Katsuki’s breath was also trembling. She hadn’t seen him this nervous since their debut, if then. “Is it stupid, or too soon, or- or whatever, to say-”
“Fuck that,” Katsuki growled out, his voice also weaker than normal. He pulled her tear-streaked face up again, and just before their lips met, he swore, “I fucking love you. C’mere.”
Ochako didn’t really know if the noise she made was a laugh, or a moan, or a hiccuped sob, but it didn’t matter because Katsuki swallowed it all the same. He pulled her flatter down the bed as he crawled onto it, taking them out of could-be-platonic-if-they-were fully-dressed territory and firmly into these-two-are-about-to-fuck-no-doubt-about-it territory, which Ochako very much appreciated.
Just as she’d imagined, Katsuki’s hands left her face and found all the softest parts of her, groping and grabbing as though he’d never before had the chance, despite the fact that her body in his hands was maybe the only familiar part of any of this. Still, she normally had more clothes on when he did it, and the shadowed divots of his fingertips pressing against her bare skin and soft flesh was… It was better than her imagination, that was certain.
Katsuki already knew how to touch her, and while he released her for just a moment to strip off his own shirt and pants, every second that his hands were on her made her feel like she was on fire.
It had been weeks now since they’d hooked up. Weeks since Ochako had gotten off, and she found it hard to believe that Katsuki had snuck a quick jacking off session in between sitting by her bedside in the hospital and hovering over her like a mother hen since her release, though she couldn’t say for sure. Regardless, they were both clearly… needy.
Ochako tried to put it out of mind for long enough to really lose herself in the kiss, which she had also been waiting for forever, but when Katsuki lowered his hips a little, she became suddenly aware of the fact that he was well on his way to hardness inside his briefs, and that for the first time, the way he slotted between the crease of her thighs wouldn’t be all she would feel of him.
That alone was distracting enough for her to hook her arms over his solid shoulders and grind up with a moan. “Katsuki,” she panted, as his mouth moved on to the fresh, unmarked pastures of her exposed throat. “I want- Come on, I- Please, don’t make me wait more, come on.”
Katsuki tore himself away with a raspy groan, and when he looked down at her, he was a complete mess; his hair disheveled and messier than usual around his head, his eyes hooded and damp and dark, his lips swollen and slick with spit. He looked the way he often did after coming up for air from between Ochako’s thighs, and all they’d done so far was kiss.
“Can you wait a little? I can-”
Ochako didn’t think about it. “No,” she demanded. She’d had his fingers and mouth countless times before, and while both were unmatched in skill and the pleasure they could bring her, that wasn’t what she wanted. “Just- Hurry, please.” She couldn't help but beg for it a little, her voice barely a whisper. Honestly, more than the fucking, or his cock inside her, or whatever else, she just wanted… needed him close. As close as humanly possible. Right now, and possibly forever. But definitely right now.
Thankfully, Katsuki didn’t seem to be in a teasing mood right now. In fact, he seemed just as desperate as her, and it showed in the way one hand landed tight between her thighs, pressing against a damp spot she had barely even noticed in her pantied as his other hand tugged messily at his briefs. After gracelessly freeing himself and tossing the briefs to the side somewhere, he looked down at Ochako and his breath caught.
She could relate. It was rare that she got to see Katsuki fully naked like this. Head to toe, just swaths and swaths of scarred skin and strong muscles. He was all coiled tight, like a snake about to strike, and his arousal was more than evident in the flush of his chest, the peak of his nipples, and, of course, the heavy jut of his cock, pink and thick and pearling ever so slightly at the tip.
Ochako licked her lips. She knew the taste of him, the shape of him, the feel of him, all by memory, but she’d never had him like this before. She wanted it badly enough to ache inside, clenching painfully around nothing in anticipation.
“Can I-” Katsuki started, then interrupted himself, thumbing through the sheer mesh at Ochako’s wet folds beneath. Then he hooked one finger around the gusset, dragged it off to one side, and after staring hungrily for a long moment, glanced questioningly up at Ochako. “Comfortable?” he asked, “Or do you want them off?”
Something about Katsuki liking them so much that he’d rather fuck her with them on was arousing enough that Ochako didn’t even care that one side of the waist band dug in a little more this way. It’d leave a little mark, maybe, but she might like that too. She nodded, breathless, and then followed his gaze back down as he scooted forward on his knees and lined himself up with his free hand.
Just the touch of him, warm and hard against the soft, wet give of her was enough to have Ochako sucking in a breath. She felt… almost nervous, only not at all afraid. This was exactly what she wanted, and as he pushed slowly in, her body made room like he was made to fit inside her.
Katsuki lowered himself back down over her until the heat of his breaths were wetting her throat, and she grabbed hold of him quickly, not wanting him to back off now.
“I- I have to be gentle,” he choked out, almost apologetic. Admittedly, they were rarely gentle, per se, when they hooked up. Quick and rough, sometimes with a farce of anger to set the mood. Nothing like this. “I can’t hurt you,” he swore through a moan. “I won’t, you know that, right?”
“T’s okay,” she mumbled after her body felt adjusted enough to let her speak without any untoward sounds escaping her. “We can… we can go slow.”
Would she last long? Probably not. But if she could drag it out even a little longer, that’d be fine with her.
“Yeah, fuck,” Slowly, Katsuki’s hips shifted, just grinding against her, feeling her around him. Ochako shivered, the sensation so different from the dextrous feel of his fingers or the shallow wetness of his tongue. When he moved with his body pressed so close to hers, even her clit was pushed against him with a rough, barely-there kind of friction.
“This-” she moaned when he started to move a little bigger, thrusting ever so slightly. “This is gonna… gonna fuck up our work so bad.”
Katsuki seemed to be too focused on holding himself back from really fucking her to process her words, but when he did, he looked up, a confused look shadowed beneath his sweat-damp hair. “Hah? Why would it-”
Ochako clenched down around him and that shut him up pretty quick. “You mean you’re not gonna want this all the fucking time?” she panted, rocking her own hips back on him, just a little. “Because I sure fucking will.”
Katsuki stared at her for a moment before dropping his head again, and his responding groan was buried directly between her lips. “Dumbass,” he growled when he pulled back. “You think I didn’t already want this all the fucking time? Contrary to popular belief, I’m not an actual god, you know?”
Ochako’s laugh came out bouncy and broken from the rhythmic thrusts of Katsuki’s hips. It was far from rough, but he’d warmed up a little, and she, by the slick, wet sound of it, certainly had too. He was still gentler than Ochako knew he could be (gentler than she wanted, but that was okay for now), but each thrust of his cock was smooth and direct, pushing against her exactly where she needed it most, dragging along the walls and folds of her cunt with enough resistance for Ochako to be almost ashamed of how obviously her body wanted to keep him in.
If there was more either of them wanted to say, it seemed neither of them were in much of a state to say it anymore. The feeling of this—of each other so close, so together— was enough to leave them both fairly speechless. There were other things to do than talk; like kiss, or pant needily against each other’s lips, or moan into each other’s mouths. Those kinds of things. And they did that plenty.
As she’d predicted, once Katsuki had found a rhythm and settled into it—long, punctuated thrusts scattered with deep grinds—there was little Ochako could do to hang on. She clung to him, forcing him deeper for longer, and when he let out a low whimper against her skin, she felt like she might implode with all the force of one of Katsuki’s explosions.
“I’m close,” she managed between ragged gasps and watery moans. Katsuki didn’t respond with words, but the way his hips jerked forward and the hand on Ochako’s waist tightened were enough of an answer.
Diligent as always, Katsuki pushed his other hand down between them, and with his cock buried about as deep as it could go, he began to work her over with familiar, callused fingers, slipping between the wetness of her, thumbing at her clit with intent. This was something he knew well, no experimenting or exploring required. He could get her off with his fingers alone in less than three minutes if he had to, her suit unzipped in an alleyway, his hand pressed tight against her. Now, with the added stimulation of his cock inside, it was a matter of seconds before she was coming, breaking apart like a bubble under the weight of his thumb.
Katsuki let out a stream of curses that matched the internal dialogue in Ochako’s brain, and before she could gather any thoughts other than fuckfuckfuck, he stuttered to a stop and pressed his mouth to her collarbone. “Chako, tell me where- I’m so-”
“Out,” she gasped, a little clarity returning. “Just- This time, out.”
Katsuki couldn’t muster a reply but he pulled out swiftly and probably less gently than he’d wanted, and in two pumps of his hand, he came all over the front of Ochako’s panties, the thick fluid seeping into the mesh and soiling them probably for good.
After a moment, Katsuki grunted out something that sounded like “Sorry,” but also like he didn’t really mean it. He landed on top of Ochako, half his weight squishing her own body into the damp blanket beneath, one solid arm banding over her ribs. Absently, his hand came up to the breast that he was not currently using as a pillow and began to massage it like a stress ball. Ochako didn’t mind, though she’d maybe rather do that on a bed not soaked through with sweat.
All the same, she let him catch his breath there, her own heart rate slowly descending as the heat of the moment simmered down to something calmer, warmer. They could wash up later.
“Feel okay?” Katsuki grunted after a while, his hand eventually sliding down to one of the larger scars on Ochako’s side, the skin raw and puckered.
“Little sore,” she admitted, but curled in towards him nonetheless, clearly forgiving. “So… you love me, huh?”
Katsuki lifted his head up just enough to glare at her, a bit like a disturbed cat. “You were gonna say it first.”
Ochako’s cheeks darkened and she looked haughtily away. “Was not.”
“Were too,” Katsuki growled, leaning over her.
“Prove it.”
“Say it.”
“Won’t.”
“Come on, Sweet Cheeks,” he purred, and Ochako flushed. “Let me hear it.”
Ochako thought about it, then shook her head. “If you want it, you’re gonna have to work a little harder than that. Maybe… another effort might be persuasive.”
Katsuki stared at her for a long moment and then barked out a laugh. “You manipulative little shit,” he muttered, dipping low to kiss her deep and messy. “Give me ten minutes and you’ve got yourself a fucking deal.”
