[Podfic] still breathing, for the second time

Summary:
More than a decade ago, Lan Wangji fell in love with a boy who was something like a ghost, or a memory, or a hopeful dream. Now, living in a hostile city with the voice of the god the boy became in his head, a search for a missing woman will stir up memories he's tried to put aside, and lead him towards answers he'd forgotten he could hope for.

Ahhhh, there’s nothing like a good romance with the void <3
This fic has immaculate vibes. It was the first one I read that made be think “Oh shit, I absolutely need to make a podfic of this”. It took me another year or so before I actually got around to learning how to do that, but I consider the wait worth it. Northofallmusic has created a gorgeous Dishonored / MDZS crossover, and I hope I managed to do it justice.There is a lot of background music in this one, mostly Ólafur Arnalds. I did my best to keep the volume level of the music appropriately low, but if you feel like it gets distracting (or if you LOVE it), please feel free to leave a comment letting me know! Ideally also LMK if you were using headphones or speakers. Feedback is really valuable to me, and it helps me better understand how to make good immersive podfic. TY to the podfic discord community for general advice while I figure this stuff out, and to @sunkitten_shash for providing beta.
On the other hand, if you don’t like music and SFX in your podfic, rest assured: I have included a version that is free of music + SFX, with the exception of quiet beeps for the outtakes.
